While I haven't found anything this delightfully flattering and retro, they have some really great sales and a lot of cute, affordable jewelry (often on one of those really great sales). If I worked in a corporate setting I'd probably shop here more often - they've got a lot of nice business separates that don't look stuffy. I've managed to live a casual adult work life, though, so no suits for me. I'll keep stopping in, though, to see if I can find another piece that lives up to that perfect dress.

I was wrong when I got to this store. Their camis are so soft and comfortable. The sales person, even though it was a busy day was prompt and able to answer my questions regarding quality and my habits of not washing lingerie separately. She was able to tell me how she normally does not wash her camis separate and the durability is great. I have had them (ie I bought like too many after finally finding these) for almost half a year and am still impressed! They have a beautiful wide and good quality lace trim at the bottom. Then she was there ready when I decided it was time to try on. She then helped me find another pair of jeans, as well as a shirt in a different color- she was really above & beyond helpful. I was so grateful for her. When I made my way to check out at the cash wrap, the sales associate there was also so friendly & kind. I didn't have my coupon with me, but I had just used it at the East Towne Maurices on Saturday, so she just rang it up for me to give me the 20% off. I don't know many places that would do that. I'm visiting WI from VA, and I really wish we had a Maurices where we live. Their service is always the best.

They ll have us each a fitting room right away so we didn't have to hold our bags. They helped us find what we were looking for and suggested other items that we loved. They were honest with a something didn't fit quite right. They laughed with us and joked with us. Maurices has made shopoing with my teenager fun instead of stressful. Everyone has bad days now and then, though, so I won't hold it against her. The other two were very sweet. Today I was "helped" by Brett. I was trying to return a hoodie that didn't fit. Everything was pretty procedural at first. Then the hiccup came where the was an issue with the return because he had thought we heavily used the hoodie, which we didn't. The only thing we did was put it on inside the house and set it down on the carpet afterwards. He was lecturing me on the fact that he cannot accept the return due to this cosmetic flaw. I informed him this, to which he replied that he can't resell something that's been worn in the store. I told him that we had been long patrons of the band and how we owned dozens of Oakley sunglasses and never had an issue with returning a product that we tried on and did not like. He finally gave in by saying that I had interrupted him as he was not able to compete his lecture that he be making an exception in this case. At the end I feel that he was over compensating for his lack of knowledge and general awareness of customer service by saving face and acting as if he was planning to let me return the merchandise after all. Next time, I'll stick to shipping my returns back instead of being hassled by a self-righteous, myopic store clerk.

They have a nice range of casual clothes with technical features (airy, moisture wicking, UPF etc) and more serious technical outdoor wear. Along with the aforementioned shorts, I love the long pants version, and my wife and I live in our EB down jackets in the winter.
