Hired this company to move my house into a storage, first the guy Chris flooded my laundry room while disconnecting the washer, didn't even bother to let me know until I walked into gallons of water all over my floor and if I didn't clean it myself he would've ruined my brand new baseboards! Then tried to put huge tires with rims on top of a box that I CLEARLY had labeled "fragile" if I wasn't tight there to tell him he would've done it! then the other guy Abel tried to do the same thing 5 minutes later, shows lack of care for peoples stuff, I called the owner to let him know how his workers did the job and he didn't care either, I was supposed to use this company for my out of state move but I absolutely will not be and would not recommend them either! Let alone they took 7 hours to do what my usual movers would do in 3 hours!!! read more

From start to finish, the entire team was knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. When I first contacted them to request a quote the owner was upfront, honest and straight to the point. He gave me info and great reminders on what to look for and ask in other movers even if I didn't hire his company. You can tell when someone knows their field and Ben knows his very well. He gave me information on their credentials, the price breakdown, and how the movers would handle the entire process. Anytime I had questions and called they were able to help me right away or return my call almost immediately to help me. Scheduling with them was very easy and worked well with my schedule even during the holidays. The day before the move they called to confirm and ensure we were all set for the agreed upon day and time. The day of the move the crew pulled up right before the time frame early enough to get the paperwork started, do a walk through and go over the plan. They protected my belongings and any areas they walked. It was raining out and they always wiped their feet before entering. They handled everything extremely gently and I had zero issues with my things. I would 100% recommend them to anyone doing a move whether it's your home, business or any other facility. After physically examining our stuff and answering all our questions, Jason at Express gave us an estimate that was competitive with other movers. We almost cancelled when our walk-through was rescheduled at the last minute, but we were glad we didn't. After that everything went fine, and the actual charges ended up being significantly below the estimate. Express moving contracts with Allied to coordinate the driver. Because the Driver is responsible for getting your stuff safely there, the driver picks their own crew. Our driver Adrian and his crew were awesome. Adrian explained what they were doing and why, wrapped all our furniture, and I don't think there was a single new dent or mar put on anything or on our house. I have had a few bad moving experiences in the past so I was a little hesitant about this move. I had Chris and Christian move my furniture and boxes to storage. First of all they arrived on time! They used multiple blankets to wrap my furniture in. I felt they were well trained in how to wrap and load the furniture. They also completed the move in a timely fashion. after calling multiple places, getting quotes and researching my options I hired Express Moving for my two bedroom apartment. Aaron and Chris showed up right on time, were very professional and worked quickly. they moved me and my brothers storage items from a second floor apartment to another second floor apartment and they were all finished in 4 hours. They were very respectful, used all the appropriate equipment to keep themselves, my belongings, and both apartments safe and without any damage. Called for a quote on a cross country move and set up an appointment time. The time came and went. After an hour I called to find out what happened. The person on the phone was EXTREMELY Rude and told me if I didn't like it, I could call someone else. Since Bakersfield only has 3 companies that to cross country moves I agreed to wait for the agent. When he (not the guy on the phone) did show up 45 mins. later, he was pleasant enough but no apology and was poorly prepared to do the estimate. I did receive a quote from them a couple of days later but if they are going to treat a potential customer that way, there is NO WAY I would entrust my household belongings to them. Just called for a out of state estimate and was told they don't come up to Lake Isabella area since the canyon drive SR178 is too dangerous for their drivers. I see many tractor trailers coming up and down the canyon regularly. I guess their drivers are not very well trained. I would recommend express moving and storage to everyone. They showed up on time and we're very respectful to furniture. They put protective covering on those items and put clothes in wardrobe boxes. They finished my moving in an unexpectedly timely manner. The guys that moved me were Chris and christian. I could not have asked for better movers. I was moving within Bakersfield and got quotes from seven other companies. The quotes given to me were a joke at the least. Express moving and storage charged me and I kid u not half of what the others quoted me. I would definitely use them if I ever moved again and strongly urge anyone needing to move to call them first. He is especially good at coaching the customer through the details that most of us do not want to face with an eye to saving them monies where they can. I peppered him with many questions throughout the process and he was prompt, responsive and honest. I actually came in under the estimate and could not have done so had he not been so informative so that I could make good choices. The actual move went quite well; the packing team really understood how to handle fine pieces (one of them was a twenty year vet and very competent).
