Alexander, Alex, Juan and Enoch were extremely helpful in our move. I would highly recommend these guys to help move. They are punctual, hard working and friendly. They packed up our house pretty quickly and any problems that came up they asked us what we would like to do or it was due to rain. They are amazing workers and Hansens is better for having these guys. We are very happy customers. read more

2 silk lampshades torn & ruined....compensation $100 just covering 1. Then I couldn't find a sik lampshade for my antique Chinese lamp. When I asked Hansen's I was informed that it was ruined and they threw it in their trash along with the antique bronze finial. I was not told until I asked, and I have heard nothing from then since. Not only was I not shown the lamp shade, but I cannot measure it to order another, and will not be able to duplicate the lost finial. The lamp is a very valuable antique. I will have to have a lampshade made for tge lamp, They also lost the fitted jewelry liner for my dresser drawer. Again, not a word from Hansen's!!!! read more

5 stars isn't enough!! Albert and Ernesto were not only on time traveling from out of town and extremely professional they took care of my furniture, they communicated very well with each other as they maneuvered my belongings up the stairs and in tight corners!! Not one scratch on my walls or furniture, they protected my new flooring with drop cloths and took all of my boxes and paper trash with them as well! A little frustrating that they arrived over an hour late with no communication but that wasn't the crew's fault. Xavier and Ernesto were efficient, communicating with each other during each step. The moving business is crazy, wide ranges in PRICING and PROFESSIONALISM. If you live in Bakersfield, Hansen's is the place to call, because they are solid on both of those points. When they say they'll show up at 8 a.m., they will. They will text you. They will work efficiently, they live up to their word on when the delivery will ARRIVE and were things damaged? Heck no. From estimate to ending, they listen and do what you the customer ask. Though friends and family have had negative experiences with other movers, we are pleased to say we suffered none of that drama with Hansen's. The crew who worked on the first day pack were Juan, Ali and Drew, and the move and unload were handled by Brian, Ernesto and Drew. All five were personable, professional and so, so careful. They moved the stuff like it was THEIRS, not yours. First day they did final pack, prepping for the pickup and load on the second day, third day the truck arrived at the destination. Nothing was lost. They did everything we asked, put things where we wanted them. Seriously, there are less expensive movers out there but you do get what you pay for. Hansen's delivers! read more

As you will see in my previous review I was happy when they packed up my Bakersfield home. My belongings were in storage at Hanson's from 2023 to 2024 almost exactly one year. I found a new home and moved in nine month's ago. I've been meaning to do another review. I called and spoke with Jim ( who handled everything from day one) I asked to get my things delivered From Bakersfield to my new home in Ventura. I explained that my condo on Ventura needed emptied and moved also. I was in Bakersfield for a day and Hansens is brilliant at giving you boxes. I packed some things myself and the moving day I have To say I was organized for! The guys showed up on time and started with the upstairs furniture then downstairs then garage. We got to the new home and they pulled up and got to work. It was seamless. I found one table with a scratch which annoyed me for a minute but I thought my gosh two houses moved one in storage for a year that scratch is nothing. Every time Jim gave me a price it never changed. The moving guys were awesome Jim was awesome when I move again it will be Hansens in Bakersfield. Junior and his moving crew did an amazing job moving our entire office in 2 days. They went above and beyond our expectations in helping us pack and move a lot of heavy stuff. They provided us with boxes and labels before we began the move so that there was a method to our madness and things ended up in the right place as they were moved to the new location. Sorry this is a late review. We moved February 4th and we were so happy we used Hansen's. It was our first time using a Moving company. We're usually recruiting family to help. So we weren't for sure if it was worth it. They moved an entire gym set (see pic) dressers, beds, washer, dryer all in less than 3 hours. I was SUPER impressed they had it on the truck and moved so quickly! We had wrapped furniture to prevent any damage but they also do it for you. I will NEVER move large furniture on my own again. Top notch in every respect. Estimator and crew were either on time or early. The crew was Gabriel , Frank and Mike. We had 7-8 foot wide bookcases, armoires, desks dressers, poster beds, huge mirrors... most were 8' tall. All Our stuff was super heavy. These guys were sooo careful and professional. My mother used Hanson's Moving Company when I was a kid, every time we needed our baby grand piano moved; now I know why! Today was my 3rd time using Hanson's. Two previous baby grand piano moves, and an entire house move about 20 years ago!!!! Every team member is Honest, hard working, cheerful, and definitely caring about the items they move. This review is well overdue. I received multiple quotes and Hansen's was by far most reasonably priced. We were moving to a new construction home and our moving date kept getting moved. Hansen's was accommodating to our situation. It was down to the wire and they were willing to get a team to move us on Christmas Eve. We were able to move the day before Christmas Eve, but in the pouring rain. Their team (the entire day) were in such good spirits and took extra good care of our new house knowing the moving equipment was being tracked through rain before coming into the house.
