The whole family can shop at Gap and get quality clothes at a fair price. That's probably why my mom liked it when I was growing up in the 90s. A lot of shirts and pullovers/hoodies have Gap's logo on them, so you look like a walking billboard, as Bruce K. alludes to. I like the cardigan sweaters, shorts, and basic short and long sleeved tops. The sales are good. My shirts from Gap still fit and feel good after many wears and washes. The styles are preppy and classic, and I suppose some would consider them "plain", but most items don't go out of style. Gap's quality is ahead of their sister brand Old Navy, and the store is better organized as well.

Mind you, I saw other patrons leaving the dressing rooms with bags in their hand. After telling the attendant I would not leave my bag for someone else to take, she said she would stay and watch it. Not sure why she wasn't watching the other people's bags. My guess, I'm being singled out for some reason....not a good look for this store to single people out. I'm a 20 year military veteran and I get treated like crap at a store that many military people go to. I guess I need to inform my battle buddies of your practices.

I called to bring to their attention the error. After debating me on the issue, the agent then changed the parameter of the letter making the "inactive time" now at 22 months instead of 36 months. They want me to purchase something just for the privilege of having their card. They would not correct the error in the initial letter then changed the parameters of said letter to suit their needs. Account now canceled. Quality has gone down anyway. just super annoying. would recommend this company.They will close like all the other big stores with this attitude.

Multiple people checked in on us while we were shopping: one woman went to the back to search for alternate sizes, while another grabbed multiple sizes from the floor for me while I was in the fitting room. Madewell is not cheap - because it's literally made well. Their clothes are investments, and they're built to last! Even still, they had some great sales going on. I found one of my favorite pairs of pants on clearance for $10! I am sorry to say that I didn't get anyone's names before we left - but I'm extremely grateful to this entire team for making sure we had a positive shopping experience, especially in such a high traffic area like King St.

That makes it super helpful that they have a brick and mortar store here on King St where you can find your exact size and then continue to order online. The mens sections is pretty small, maybe 1/4 or less of what the womens is, but it's still better than no mens section like many other stores. The prices are on the higher end, but they always run sales so I suggest waiting for one if it's not something you need right away. So far I only have pants from there which I really like and I may try their t-shirts soon. They look like they have good weight and a good fit too.

The prices here are amazing and you can get a lot of different items for not a lot of money. They also have a really good gift item section if you need to find a reasonable gift for someone on your list. The staff here is very friendly, approachable, and helpful and they will go out of their way to make sure that you are being helped and have everything that you need. I have always had a really good experience shopping here and know that I can always find the right items to look good and stylish.
