I've not had a bad experience coming here but I don't know what they could do for me to call them excellent. They're just a convenient and competent recycling center. I couldn't say how their rates compare because I go them mainly for the convenience.

I went to this location today with two bins full of plastic bottles. One of the workers told me…read morethat I needed to "separate" them. I was confused because I did not understand what he wanted me to separate, and when I asked, he only mumbled something that I could not understand. I then asked the employee who was entering the scale numbers what exactly needed to be separated. He explained that the non-CRV bottles needed to be separated from the CRV bottles. I told him that I honestly did not know that was required and that this was the first time anyone at this location had mentioned it to me. I also told him that now that I knew, I would make sure to separate them next time. Instead of simply explaining the policy, he responded, "Nope, we tell everyone every day," which came across as though he was accusing me of lying. He then said something along the lines of, "You probably didn't get paid for it then," and pointed to a sign located on the left side of the container. The sign is positioned in an area that is not easily visible to customers. I have no issue following the rules or separating the bottles now that I understand the requirement. My complaint is about the way the situation was handled. A simple, professional explanation would have been enough. There was no reason for the employee to be dismissive or imply that I was being dishonest simply because I was unaware of the policy. I would recommend making the signage more visible and ensuring employees communicate these requirements respectfully, especially when a customer is asking a legitimate question and is willing to comply.

This place has its own sanitation station, but I highly recommend bringing your own gloves and hand sanitizer. Aluminum and plastic bottles go into the orange net baskets (but should be separated). Large plastic gallons should be placed on top of small/standard water bottles. Glass bottles go into the grey plastic bins. If you come right before they open at 9AM, you'll likely run into 1-2 parties trying to be in and out of there as well. I always run into families here, but the community as a whole is pretty good about not hogging containers/baskets.
