1 star for Paolo, the person you are messaging as "Christian" on Yelp, who provides the job price and scheduling. TLDR: after the fact he said that to provide the work specified in his offer would be 2x the quote. And it seems he has fired this great 5 star team for *his* mistake. Bah. The technicians are hard working and delightful, in particular Christian. 5 stars for Christian. I don't think he is with this company any more though. If only scheduling had been the only challenge. Scheduling is unreliable, as you've seen in multiple other reviews. Three reschedules at the last minute. This is not the company to use if you have a deadline or event. Paolo offered a written scope of work, including the unambiguous "Our steam and hot extraction and removal service of stains, liquid spills, has no additional cost, it is courtesy of our company." Screenshots provided. This was not communicated to the technicians, who did not have the appropriate steam extraction equipment when they arrived. I reasonably expected the owner to send them back at a less busy time to complete the agreed upon written scope of work and at which time I would pay on completion. Nope. You can see here in the follow up messaging Paolo said the cost of the work as he had promised would be $190 more, providing justification for the cost with information he already had prior to creating the quote offer in the first place. He had the size of the vehicle, the location, and my explicit priority for deep shampoo of an older used high mileage vehicle. I also re-communicated this multiple times each time of the last minute reschedule. I am at a loss as to what I as a client could have done for better communication. This is frustrating most of all because at the time of updating this review, he is punishing his hardworking team for his mistake and I am of the impression they were fired. read more

The work itself was great and they successfully buffed out some minor scratches for an extra fee. However -2 stars just for the horrible communication. On the scheduled day for an 8am appointment, they never showed. When we rescheduled for the same time the next day, they showed up 40 mins late without any heads up. This seems to a common issue with other people as well. If it wasn't for the horrible communication, I would've gave them 5 stars. This business was amazing! Arrived at my home as he said he would. He even came down from Hayward to San Jose on a Saturday!! My car hadn't been detailed inside and out for years due to ongoing financial struggles. I had to move several times in less than a year so my car was always packed though lucky I didn't have to sleep in it. He spent two hours which I was so thankful because every nook and cranny needed to be addressed. It only cost me $180 and I thought fur sure he would add charges due to the unexpected time it took him to do a fantastic job! Not a crumb to be seen. Worst experience and I didn't even get my car serviced. I scheduled for a cleaning at 8AM. I was told 10 after that he was running late and wouldn't be there until 9:30. When he gets here, he tells me he doesn't have any water to wash my car. He leaves to go find a place to fill his tank, then tells me after over half an hour that he can't find a place, so he'll reschedule for tomorrow, at 9:30. I tell him let's meet at 10AM. He messages me the next day after 10AM and says that he's finishing a cleaning over 1.5 hours away from me. I tell him message me when he is on his way. 11:45 he tells me that he just finished so I ask, when is the estimated time you'll be here? He says 1:30PM. Absolutely ridiculous dude. I wasted 2 entire days and I needed this service done asap. I could have literally found another person to do it rather than waiting on this guy. TLDR: This company doesn't stick to appointment times and is unprepared/unorganized. read more

He did a great job, worked on both inside and outside for the price most detailers charge for just one or the other. It took him more than twice as long as his initial guess, but despite the extra time and work he put in, he didn't try to raise the price due to how dirty the car was - in fact, he almost declined my tip, although I insisted. He has limited English, but makes extensive use of Google translate, and communication wasn't an issue at all. The only negative was he said in his initial message that the job included interior, exterior, and the engine bay for no additional cost. When he was done, the inside and outside were both great, but he hadn't touched the engine. He then said I should have specifically mentioned if I wanted it done, but it didn't occur to me to ask because he had already said it was part of the package deal. Since it had already been about 4 hours and was getting late, he came back a different day to finish it. Overall, the good work and low price was still worth the complications of coordinating a second day, and I'll hire him again next time I need it. read more
