I had two specific issues that he helped me problem-solve before I even committed to the job. Being transparent about their process, materials, and labor, made this an easy choice for me. My main reason for reaching out was to remove scratches and swirl marks on the trunk of the car, but I also needed touch up paint where there was general wear on my front bumper. The pandemic got me some non paying tenant living under the car's hood so I had to get rid of the rat poop in the car...not fun. They're mobile so you don't need to bring your car in, hand em your keys and they got it done in a few hours since we have two cars. Results? Rodrigo and his crew from The General Auto Spa brought their auto detail shop to my home! They were here to detail my (somewhat neglected) 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. The car needed a good clean and detail. The exterior paint was dulled from sun exposure; with layers of ash from recent wildfires, combined with tree sap and bird poop! The interior was dull and dusty and the dashboard vinyl was dry and cracked. Rodrigo and his team went to work! Two hours later ..... I was stunned and overjoyed with the results of their work! The paint shone and gleamed - exposing beautiful green flecks in the five year old paint job. The booking process was a breeze. Sure, paying a $35booking fee isn't ideal, since it doesn't go towards the cost of the service, but it did ensure my car was cleaned. Kelvin was my tech and I received text messages noting when he was inbound, arrived, and when the car was ready. He arrived in a van with everything he needed to clean the car, water included. After explaining to him the issues I've had with other places missing places in the car's nooks and crannies, Kelvin made sure to leave no stone unturned The car was returned in amazing detail. Every nook and cranny was cleaned. Windows had a few marks I didn't see until I started driving, but the exterior and interior were amazing! I ran into a huge issue the day after service. I tried to drive my car the day after it was cleaned and it would not start. The Prius V's battery was completely drained requiring a jumpstart. When the car was detailed, I never gave the keys to the tech and trying to start it yesterday, I found the wipers and lights were on and ac, all of which were not on when I handed the car over for detailing. Console lights were all dim and windows and locks were slow to function. The car was just seen by our Toyota dealer in the past month and had no issues and did recently pass the smog test last week, so I know the battery issue is random and new. I went to AutoZone today and had it checked out and replaced for $260, as the battery was no longer holding its charge, when it was fine when I handed the car over. I have photos showing the old battery's test results as of today vs the new battery, which was installed this morning. When trying to contact the business (through the Detail Gods page through Yelp) I was treated to an ad, for 20 percent off today and tomorrow, not a response to my concern. This makes me regret paying cash, since there is a 4% service fee for paying by card. ***REVISION*** After my review went live, I was contacted by Irving, who worked to make things right. Yes, this is something that could have been prevented with a bit more communication, but I know mistakes happen and that there are people willing to take responsibility for their actions. I really do appreciate the quick response. By the way, if you have kids, make sure to ask for Kelvin. I have a toddler and Kelvin made it look like the kiddo never ate in there, he is a miracle worker. read more

I really wanted to like them but after numerous problems I have to give them a 1 star. First they send someone else. Then he said the package wasn't what he'd quoted. When I asked for an updated estimate he gave one that I grudgingly agreed to. He said if I wanted interior detailing it would take six hours. When he said he was done I asked about the dirty floorboards. He said floor boards are not included in interior detailing! That's a different"package". Finally I gave up and said fine to be done with it. After he left I found the windows were still dirty and smudged. Never got cleaned. So now he says he'll come back in two days to clean the windows.
