Apparently, when I had my battery replaced a few months prior, I was unaware that there was a whole Honda drive cycle that needed to complete. He gave me amazing advice on how to try and clear it myself. He even said he would honor the price he quoted me and didnt charge a dime for that initial visit. I came back a couple weeks later and everything was a breeze from then on. I was his first customer for the day and he had me in and out of there so fast. Even when I tipped him, he said the tip was too much. I told him that was the least I can do. It's less than five minutes from my house and, as other yelp…read morereviewers have noted, when the crew is at their best you really do feel taken care of but some teams are better at making you feel this way than others. Part of what Oil Changers proposes to offer is to check all fluid levels and to top off, to check brake lights, belts, signals, head lights and air filter, to clean the windshield and check tire air pressure. This is exactly what my old mechanic used to do before he retired. Too often, though, they skip many or all of these tasks. I could understand that this might happen if they were super busy but it often happens when they're slow. More importantly, when you get your invoice, these items are checked off as if they've been performed when they have not. Honestly, this does not give me the feeling of being well taken care of but leaves a taste of deception in my mouth even if the basic task of changing the oil and filter has been performed correctly. I leave wondering what else might have been missed through inattention. I have no problem in general with the folks that work there, they're always welcoming and friendly. If it's too much to ask of them to do these basic safety and maintenance checks maybe it shouldn't be asked of them and maybe it shouldn't be printed out on the bill that these tasks are required and have been performed. I really hope this is something that can be addressed.

From the moment I arrived, his demeanor came across as rude and unprofessional. I also spoke with other customers while I was there who expressed similar concerns about his attitude. When it was time to inspect my vehicle, the technician questioned the CARB sticker associated with my aftermarket AIRAID intake. The replacement sticker I received by mail was branded K&N, and I explained that K&N is associated with AIRAID and that this was the sticker provided to me for the intake. I also had documentation with me to support what I was explaining. However, the technician was unwilling to review or consider the information I presented and ultimately refused to proceed with the smog check, telling me to return another day with a different CARB sticker. I understand that smog technicians are required to follow California emissions regulations, but I believe customers should still be treated professionally and given a reasonable opportunity to provide supporting documentation. Based on the technician's attitude, communication, and handling of the situation, I was very dissatisfied with my experience and would not recommend this location.
