Upon arrival, I called the number, was told 5-10 minute wait. Turned out to be 15. Driver wouldn't take all our luggage in the back. Had to force him to add a few carry ons and he demanded we hold others in our laps. Bus was full and he waited for others to arrived and crammed them in. They have a grab rail for people standing in the center aisle but there is no room to stand between people sitting. One passenger just held onto the back of the passenger seat. Driver drove too fast. By the time we got to the lot, everyone wanted off the bus and we all just walked the lot to our car. This used to be a good lot, but never again. read more

The website for booking a reservation wasn't super clear, so I called, and they texted these pictures over to me. I booked through Flight Parking and used the discount code. I never received an email of my confirmation, so make sure to download it directly after paying as it includes the QR code they'll scan at the gate when you enter. They'll hand you a ticket, part of it you keep on you, and the other part you leave on your dashboard. We did the uncovered parking. The covered parking is a carport over the cars, not a garage as I had thought. The first several rows are the covered parking and you have to go towards the back for the uncovered. The asphalt is worn down so if you have a ton of rolling luggage - it'll be easier to drop it off in the front by the shuttle stop with someone before you park. I read reviews about some people coming back to their car being invaded by ants, so I made sure to throw out our trash in the trash cans there. We did actually leave a window cracked a few inches on accident (oops) but luckily, nothing happened! It was convenient as we had practically no wait on our roundtrip for the shuttle. It's ~5 minutes there, and ~7 minutes back. You're supposed to call them when you land so the shuttle can come get you from the designated drop off/pickup spot at the airport (4F - across from the Southwest end). We saw the shuttle leaving as we approached and they were so kind to stop for us when I waved him down. Bring some cash to tip the nice drivers! Affordable rates, but the shuttle system needs work. Our group of 3 waited through two full shuttles before getting picked up, even though we were first at the stop. The first shuttle came 20 minutes after I called but we couldn't get on the first shuttle. We waited and were able to get on the second shuttle but had to be assertive to make sure we got on (that shuttle was also full). There's no queue system, so waiting longer (being there sooner/calling earlier) doesn't guarantee you'll board sooner. Management should look into calling passengers in the order they checked in -- especially on busy days. read more

Caveat emptor! The facility itself is fine, though they could use some pavement work. This review is solely based on the shuttle service that is absolutely not customer service friendly. As their return ticket explains to call when ready for pickup, it's always advised to do so about 10 mins before you actually are ready because they take forever (even though when you call they say they would be there within 10-15min max). Don't believe this because they take forever. They also maximize riders so if you're first to arrive they will wait for other passengers even if you're sitting there for 10 mins. Unlike other shuttle services that take you as soon as you pick up. This gets to be quite annoying when you've been traveling all day and dying to get home. Likelihood of returning to this establishment is zero. My advice is to check out other parking establishments and pay just a little more. read more

I have parked here before without issue. This time though, I got to the lot and parked in front of the gate to show the parking attendant my barcode. He waved me forward and raised the gate. Then told me to stop, which I did. After a few seconds of talking with him the gate lowered on my truck and left a white mark on the hood of my nice black truck. The attendant laughed and said "that's not my fault". He raised the gate back up and it stayed up while he finished talking. I asked him for his name so I could inform the manager of what happened. After asking a few times he told me. I was able to buff most but not all of the mark out in the parking lot. I'll take a clay bar to it and see if that helps. I am really frustrated that the situation happened and that the employee responded so poorly. The shittle driver came over and said he heard there was incident with my truck. I gave him my number and asked him to pass it on to his manager. I never heard anything back from anyone. read more

Expresso used to be my go-to parking location when flying out of Oakland airport but no more! The old location on Doolittle was great- relatively clean, a nice central area where you knew the vans were going to be to take you to the airport (that was covered, had bathrooms, newspapers, coffee, etc) and drop you off. However, I heard they had to move since Amazon bought their old location and now they are just off 98th. I had to take a flight recently for the first time since March 2020 so I didn't know what to expect. I booked online as I used to and headed out. The new lot is very disorganized and dirty. The road and spaces are dusty and full of potholes and weeds. Big semi trucks seem to use the back of the lot as well and are going through the lot constantly, my car was super dusty after 2 days. They do have some parking rows that are labeled and covered but it's very unclear where shuttles will pick you up. I finally parked and flagged down a shuttle to ask where the pickup was. I felt really pressured by the shuttle drivers on both to and from the airport to tip. Going to, I flagged down a driver to ask where the pickup was. He told me to get in and he will make a "special trip" to bring me to the airport. He told me at least 4 times on the way to drop off that he was making a "special trip" for me. Coming from the airport, the shuttle driver pulled up and dropped off a load of passengers. I was about to hop on after the last person got off and the driver said his day was done, the next shuttle was right behind him, and then he shut the door on me. After a moment, he opened the door again and said, "Okay, I'll take you, but just tip me." I understand that tips help these guys but so unprofessional and rude to blatantly ask for tips to do the job that you're actually paid to do. This place is a train wreck at the new location as I see from the reviews, I'm definitely not parking here next time I have a flight out of Oakland. read more

Extremely Disappointed with Unhelpful and Inconsiderate Airport Parking Lot Manager I recently had the unfortunate experience of parking my vehicle at Expresso Parking and I must say that it was an absolute nightmare. The new manager, whose name I unfortunately did not catch, was incredibly rude, uncooperative, and displayed a complete lack of empathy towards customers. One of the major issues I encountered was the manager's decision to block the disabled parking area due to a tree dropping sap. Instead of finding a reasonable solution, such as trimming the tree or providing alternative disabled parking spaces, the manager simply shrugged off the inconvenience. I suggesting that I was willing to take the risk of parking there as I parked there last week. This blatant disregard for the needs of disabled individuals is not only disrespectful but also potentially illegal. Furthermore, the manager's attitude towards customers was appalling. When I approached him with a concern about the lack of available parking spaces, he responded with a dismissive and condescending tone, making it clear that he had no intention of assisting me. It was evident that he had no interest in providing a satisfactory customer experience or resolving any issues that arose. The overall lack of cooperation and professionalism displayed by the new manager at Expresso parking left a sour taste in my mouth. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and have my concerns addressed in a timely and appropriate manner. Unfortunately, this manager failed to meet even the most basic standards of customer service. I strongly advise anyone considering parking at Expresso parking to think twice before doing so. The unhelpful and rude behavior of the new manager, coupled with his complete disregard for disabled parking needs, makes this parking lot an extremely unpleasant and unsatisfactory choice. There are undoubtedly better options available that prioritize customer satisfaction and accessibility. Unfortunately, we had to leave our car as we have a flight to catch. Hopefully my car is unharmed upon my return. I also sent my concerns to the ADA complaints department both the local branch and corporate offices. As per the California law they need to have 2% available spots for the disability. With 5 slots covered they're not in compliance. read more

I've been using expresso for years. The new location is off 98th street and not on Doolittle. First time using an outside lot post Covid. I've been using expresso many times for years without a problem. So I thought why not give it a shot. I read other reviews about the new location that were negative that scared me. So keep in mind that there no security between 12am-4am, no shuttles to/from the airport 12am-4am. The whole parking lot is outdoors and only some rows have an overhead covers. The parking lot is not well lit either. Please hide all your valuables I usually catch the earliest and latest flights before and took this shuttle at 2am before and didn't have a problem. But idk how the new location would be if I had flights at that time. I flew out on a Friday (12/16/2021) 5pm and arrived on Sunday (12/19/2021) at 6pm. Total of 2days and 1hour. Here I paid $25 and was charged 2 full days. If I went to economy parking at the airport I would've paid for 3 full days and paid $54. Expresso definitely saved me a lot on parking. During this times the shuttle was there right away. Only downside is at the parking lot there is no designated pick up areas. After parking my car, I just walked to the front entrance and saw a bus. Unlike the old location they had a parking garage hub that had a cashier, food, and was indoors. When I arrival back at the airport I just went to 4F in the front and there was a expresso shuttle within 5mins. Tip: Make sure to sign up with them to get a discount 25%. This used to be my go-to parking lot pre pandemic, so I'm glad that someone finally bought the space and reopened the parking lot. I usually just go for uncovered parking because it's less expensive, but they also offer ample covered parking. The shuttle comes pretty quickly. I didn't even wait 5 minutes when I parked, nor when I came back (though I called them while I was still walking in the terminal, just before baggage claim). I took off one star because when you book, they generate a QR code, but their QR scanners don't work! You have to wait for someone to come out and give you a ticket. I typically use this lot when traveling, it's easy to get to from the freeway, can be a little challenging get out when leaving and trying to go towards the freeway, it's a bust street. We booked reserved covered parking for the week we would be gone to Hawaii. Easy to get in to, and shuttle was ready to take us to Oakland Airport, but you need to call upon the return and wait for the shuttle. We called as soon as we picked up our luggage, knowing we needed to get to the correct pickup spot, they said about 5-10 minutes. We waited and waited. Another family arrived and they called twice, were told the same wait time. This lot is less than 2 miles away, and we all waited nearly 30 minutes after being told wait time would be just 5-10 minutes. We saw two other parking shuttles come through 2-3 times while we were waiting. Don't know why it took so long, but would appreciate honesty about the pick up time! read more

Beware this place has, at best, incompetent staff and at worst potential scammers. My girlfriend and I paid for parking in advance and arrived at the booth to leave a few minutes after the end of our reservation. The attendant looked up our reservation and told us it would be $17 extra. We tried to explain that we had already paid and showed him our receipt and reservation time. When I asked what the extra charge was for, he either pretended to not speak any English or legitimately could not communicate beyond continuing to demand more money. After we argued with him for a few more minutes he finally took a picture of our receipt and then let us leave. Why have an attendant at all if they can't communicate? read more

We used to use this site exclusively for airport parking at their old location on Doolittle Drive and loved it. They had a nice clean parking lot, amenities with coffee, newspaper, restrooms, plenty of shuttles etc. We arrived at the new location on 98th Avenue aghast to see the condition of the potholed and dusty outside parking lot. There is a small space to stand outside to wait for the shuttle near the entrance but we didn't see any indoor area at all. We both commented on the number of cars that appeared to have been there for sometime due to the level of grime on their windshields and exteriors, thinking they must have very reasonable long term rates...... well, fast forward two short nights later when we arrived back in Oakland and were appalled at the amount of dirt and grime on our vehicle! Waking up the next morning it was even more apparent that it must be a hugely dusty environment. On the positive.....Our arrival flight back to Oakland was delayed an hour and we were excited and pleased to see that was our driver, Tony, waited for us to arrive to shuttle us back to our car at 1 AM which was amazing. Tony was very courteous and even helped rinse off our car before leaving which leads me to believe the organization is well aware of the state of cars exiting the parking lot. One last note....the shuttle does not run 24 hours only 20 hours as they are closed from 12 AM to 4 AM daily. If your flight arrives between , midnight, and 4 AM, make sure you scheduled your arrival and departure times on their application and paid in advance, this is the only way you'll have an after our shuttle available to you. If you arrive during their clothes business hours, you will be responsible for a scheduling your own ride to the Expresso parking lot to pick up your car Sadly, I don't believe we will be returning as the contrast between the old and new location is simply too substantial to overcome. read more

This is a good Airport Parking place!! I use this almost always when I travel for cost and convenience!! Make sure you make a reservation online, the online prices are very good, especially if you park outside, and your guaranteed a parking spot. If you just drive up without a reservation, chances are the cheaper outside spots will be full and you gotta go with their indoor valet option, which is kinda pricey, especially without a reservation. The shuttle is pretty quick, and they have coffee and pastries at the shuttle stop inside. I usually prepay, but you have the option of paying their also. My latest flight was delayed coming back, so I got back later than I had booked for, but they didn't charge me anything extra, that was cool. Might be the best option when flying out of the Oakland Airport!! read more

Our flight arrives in Oakland airport at 2AM and we called to request a pick up but they said that the driver is on a break and we have to wait min 30 mins. We ended up taking Uber to the parking lot to pick up our car. Not reliable , ended up paying too much because of the extra Uber fee. Disappointed. read more

So I'm really hoping this is a very temporary lot for them. Their old lot with options for indoor self parking, indoor valet parking, or outdoor valet parking was far better and cleaner. The lot we parked at in July was makeshift, unorganized (you had to guess where the shuttle will pick up) and just dirty - unpaved so there is dry dusty dirt everywhere. I also pre-paid, but the time went over just a tad and the machine just would not let me pay the difference to get out. We had to wait for the attendant that was technically suppose to be for the other exit lane with people paying right there, to stop and charge my card. We went for the indoor self parking and overall a good experience. It's close to the Airport with regular shuttles and we got a pretty good rate online. The parking spots are on the small side and finding your way around can be a little confusing as the signs not particularly clear so make sure you're not in a hurry. TIP: Shuttle pick up is inside the main building with a waiting area and refreshments. read more

Upon returning, I called the number and spoke to a woman that sounded as though she was asleep. She wasn't good on the phone suffice it to say. I asked for a pick up. She finally got my key number and then said nothing. In a brief phone call I asked 3 separate times if she was still on the line. This is NOT the old Expresso Park and fly. It's cheap. It's really nice when you go traveling and you have a safe place to leave your car. I think it's reasonably priced but I haven't tried to many other places. I was so happy here I continue coming back. Every time I've paid I google search coupons and one pops up and they honor the coupon so I get a little discount on the bill. They have inside and outside parking. A quick and easy shuttle to the airport and from the airport back to your car. DO NOT PARK HERE! Absolute nightmare, totally unsafe. This is NOT the Expresso Parking you used to use, they sold their name to AirPark. This lot is all open-air and is shared with 18-wheelers!! As soon as we parked we were almost run over by 10 trucks barreling through the parking lot. Then they blocked the exit for 10 minutes, delaying our exit. When we returned from our vacation, we found that our windshield had been smashed, apparently vandalism. The attendant wouldn't give me a form, wouldn't call anyone about it, hell- he wouldn't even tell me his name! Horrible place with zero customer care or respect. I was waiting at the airport from 2am until 2:45am continuously calling the customer care to know when the shuttle would arrive. The call was never picked up. I had to take a cab to this place from the airport. The next day the guy on the phone did not even acknowledge my problem. I requested to be connected to his manager and he said the manager is not on site. I asked him for reimbursement or compensation because of their mistake and driver not arriving on airport to pick up for 40+ minutes. And they obviously won't compensate it. This review is mainly in regards to the property condition versus their service. This parking lot is very uneven with a lot of gravel! When we returned from our trip yesterday morning, once I got out of the shuttle and just took a few steps I ended up falling flat on my face because of the uneven/gravel parking lot (I was wearing sneakers so it's not the shoes!). I was holding my small dog, so could not put my palm down as I fell and now my dog unfortunately is limping as I fell on her. Not to mention how sore I am and barely can move my shoulder this morning from the hard fall. This is concerning especially if you're elderly because someone is going to break a hip or worse at some point. They really need to repave this parking lot or try to fix all the uneven dips. read more

This place is now called express parking and it is nothing like expresso used to be-Long ago they had the best facilities , then they moved and the lot was crappier. Now it's been sold and one guy takes your ticket and then jumps in van to drive you to drop off and you have to call when you arrive back instead of knowing shuttles come regularly. I waited 15 mins instead of the promised 5-10. Also , they physically take your phone from your hand to put see the QR code instead of using the reader. Not worth the cheap price.
