I went in and ordered a new truck 2 months ago and gave them a down payment. Was told Ford would contact me and give progress on The production of truck and deliver in February. Today I called Expressway Ford in Mt Vernon to ask when I would hear from ford plant. Guy at Expressway couldn't find my order in computer and after not hearing back I called Ford corporate customer service. They told me expressway never put the order in! if I reorder now I'm months later getting this truck. Never ever go to these incompetents. read more

I took my car in to have a water pump replaced (coolant was leaking) in March 5. They assured us this would be done in two weeks, easy. Ha. No. At the two week mark, we hadn't heard from them, so we called. They "forgot" to order parts multiple times but never once decided that they should maybe contact the owners of the vehicle to let us know the repair would take much longer than two weeks. They put the water pump in but broke the timing chain and head. They then told us, after the car was in parts and undrivable, that we were welcome to get a second opinion on it. They of course were not going to be paying to have it transferred somewhere else. Long story short, these so called "factory trained" technicians have now done enough damage to the car that it's getting an entire new engine. It's been 7 weeks and they're saying it'll only be about a week longer but I'm not sure when or if I'll actually see my car again. So if you're looking for some incompetent goons and a free engine, make sure to stop by! When they screw up they won't call you, won't do anything to quickly correct the situation, but they will tell you "I know how you feel." read more

Oddest experience. We stopped in on Saturday to look at a 2014 Lincoln MKZ. Salesperson was great. Friendly, no pressure, really knew his stuff. Unfortunately they offered quite a bit less than book for our vehicle and explained why. After we left we saw the KBB guaranteed Trade-In link on their home page so we put the value of our car in along with the negatives (two new tires and couple of door dings) and the trade-in value came back over $2000 higher than what they offered us. (A couple other dealers participating in the program asked us for detailed photos and then guaranteed the KBB price to us for cash--regardless of if we bought a vehicle from them. I sent an email back to the salesperson, no response of any kind. I sent an email to the person at the dealership listed as the KBB Guaranteed Trade-In contact..no response of any kind. No harm, no foul..it would have been nice to do business with them. Seemed like a great group of people but very indifferent and surprisingly unreceptive to communication. If you're trading in a vehicle here, I recommend going through the KBB Guaranteed Trade-In program prior to your visit and checking with other dealers in the area because this dealer offered us $2000 less than other area ford & chevy dealers...and those other dealers were willing to give us that amount in the form of a cashiers check if we couldn't find a vehicle on their lot. read more

I bought a new truck this year through these guys they do have an excellent amount of trucks available with many options which is a plus about this dealership however they are terrible with communication. I inquired about multiple trucks many times and not a single call/email through a third party website. I then went to their website and inquired through there. Still no call or email. I had to call to even go see this truck whether they had it available or not. What's worst is they charged me sales tax for the state I am registering my truck through which I am exempt from. I tried contacting them regarding it and they never have gotten back to me. Terrible communication at this dealership and obviously don't know how to do paperwork read more

Save yourself the hassle and choose a different dealership -- please do not purchase any vehicle from the expressway family of dealerships. The salesperson was friendly and personable and was very helpful but that's where it stopped. After purchasing the vehicle it has now been over 2 months and I do not have my registration and plates. The title office and whatever 3rd party contractor they have doing the work has not even started the process at the time of this review (over 60 days). I have had to pay for 2 different inspection/emission tests because they have refused to do their job in a timely fashion and the reports expired. They have refused to communicate in a timely fashion and have blamed a variety of reasons when pressed. Save yourself the hassle. Pass on this dealership. read more

Great place to go if you want your credit score to get ruined without your permission! I specifically told the salesman to run my credit through one bank, and one bank only. He came back with a interest rate I didn't like, so I let them know that I would find financing elsewhere and didn't want my credit ran multiple times. I wake up the very next day to find out that I have 4 hard inquiries on my credit and my score dropped 20 points. Was very serious about buying the car I came to look at up until I found this out. Worst place I have ever been to. It's impossible buying a car from these people and getting any kind of work done to your vehicle. I called to make an appointment to get an oil change. Was told you do NOT need an appointment. They are open mon-fri until 8:30 pm. Went up there at 5pm and the man in the service department told me his men stop doing oil changes at 4:30 pm. The website even says the service department is open WAY later, they need to start telling people that stupid sh!t. I drove 45 min there and 45 min back, for NOTHING. Will not EVER refer anyone to this hellhole. UPDATE: They did however call me and have me come down there for an oil change and filled my rank completely full of gas. This company needs to get in the 20th century! Tried to get info on vehicle and instead of calling or emailing me back they repeatedly called and emailed my ex husband. I emailed and called to tell them to stop and they kept calling and emailing him. Lost my $26000 purchase and my brother in laws $45000 truck purchase. I emailed 2 managers and never heard one word from either of them! It all starts at the top! Much education needed on how to show respect to customers. I talked with them on the phone about purchasing my car, a price was emailed to me, I drove 45 minutes to be there by 4 so they could "cut me a check" that day. When I arrived we went over the car specs again, (my car is 1 of only 183 made) the offer was up $2100 more than the first. After they took it for a test drive of which there are no issues, Dennis the salesman comes back to say "they would be able to sell it quick in a place like Miami, but not around here" then begins to go with an offer 4800 lower than they told me! A complete waste of my time, this is the second time they have flip flopped on a price with us. The first time was purchasing a car. They are not friendly at all and unapologetic. Our salesman Ian was very nice and helpful. The titles dept doesn't have a clue. We were sent the wrong title and did not receive all the information to have the car registered. When we contacted them about the problem (and after taking off work twice to go the BMV I was VERY upset) the manager was not at all apologetic, and asked what I was expecting him to do. Found a truck I liked. Called to meet salesman. Go to meet salesman. Test drove truck on Saturday. The following Monday, I returned with my trade-in vehicle. I checked if I could come down Monday evening with salesman. He said that will be fine. I get there and he has left for the day. No phone call or anything. I wait 15 minutes or so for him to call another salesman. 2nd salesman lets me test drive the truck again. I return from test drive about 30 minutes later and that salesman has left. I get pushed to DJ. That guys is a piece of work. I watch him strut across the showroom for maybe 20 minutes while he pays no attention to us. I then find out that they never have looked at my truck. I wait some more for them to look at it and come back with a very lowball trade in offer. I refused it and he came back with a new price but couldn't tell me exactly what they were giving me for my truck. It was over after that. He acted like he didn't care if he sold a truck or not.
