NoT even a quarter of a star!!! OMG.... Do Not waste your money getting the mani-pedi Groupon for this place! They use the same instruments without sterilizing or even washing them. There's roaches coming out from everywhere. Broken massage chair, she didn't even washed the foot sink until I asked her to wash it and had to ask her to at least soak the instruments in alcohol, she was about to even use the same towel she used for the feet of the previous lady. The lady Odalys doesn't even know what she's doing my nails are deformed and unevenly, had to asked her to file them again. The worst mani-pedi ever. Not worth it!! even for Free!!! Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a girly girl. I would rather do just about anything than sit in a salon. Proof: Date of my last haircut... July 2011, see my review of Salon Vaso! Vaso, don't take it personally; it's not you, it's me! However, the one thing I hate more than girly stuff is my curly hair! I am an un-girly curly girl! So last year I was thrilled to encounter a Groupon for keratin straightening at a salon so close to my home. But... see above... I would rather do ANYTHING than sit in a salon. So, the Groupon expired. Thanks to the magic of Groupon, I could still use the cash value of it at the salon ($79), so I called today and got highlights! On the one hand, I was glad that they were able to fit me in same day (again, see that bit about wanting to do anything blah blah blah...) but concerned that they would have availability on such short notice. That concern deepened a bit when William wasn't all that communicative before the highlighting process started. Once the dye was painted on and I was sitting in all of my foil-wrapped glory, I started to get REALLY nervous. William led me back to the dryer and after a few minutes, he turned it off to ask how light I wanted to go. Freakout in 3, 2, 1... But not to worry, he rinsed it out and gave me a blow dry and it was PERFECT!! For someone with "virgin" hair, this experience was a great intro into hair "stuff". It was fast - less than an hour, and there was no silly girl talk involved! In addition, William really nailed the color. My hair is light brown, but when I was younger, it was blonde. It still gets really light in the sun, and because I hadn't had it cut in so long, the ends were significantly lighter than the rest of it. William matched the color perfectly and I look younger and sunkissed! I was also pleased with the price... on the website partial (or "parcial", lol) highlights are priced at $75, but the charge for me today was $55 and they gave me a credit for the balance of the Groupon. I look forward to returning for another service in the near future! OK, not really, but at least I know it won't be painful! read more

I initially came for the organic which is 80 but they charged 99 instead for regular and I wasn't consulted of change. mani pedi was a total of 40. Hair trim for 45 but got another surprise charge of 30 dlls that I wasn't notified of, altogether it was 212. Service was great just make sure to ask for any hidden fees upfront with the front desk that's the only reason I don't give 5 stars. read more

I was on vacation trying to get a little treat and had THE WORST experience of my life. First I was took by this frazzled hairdresser that stop doing my highlights to attend her client! She gave all attention and care to her client while my highlights became blonder and blonder... Guess what? Of course she had to tone them down because they were way too blond! When she started to dry Mu hair I said I did not like it. I asked her to make my face look softer/ lighter... She made me look like a character from XMen instead AND she tried to convince me it was pretty... Ah... Nope! Then i said I wouldnt leave without a better service. She start to say in Spanish which I don t understand well just a little that I was doing that on purpose NOT TO PAY! Are you serious? I typically get keratin done about once or twice a year in order to win the vicious battle between myself and Mother Nature. This was my second time coming here for a keratin treatment, and I came back a second time for good reasons: 1) The salon staff know how to work with and manage curly locks 2) They don't take a very long time, and I don't have to waste my entire day at the salon 3) The prices are right 4) The quality of hair care here is something that is hard to find in Miami The past two times I've visited I've had two different people, and both of them did a great job. They have coffee and magazines of course for you to enjoy while you sit under the dryer, along with a nice blend of Spanish Caribbean music playing in the background. There are two keratin choices you can choose from: 1) the organic keratin treatment that lasts about 3 months, or the regular keratin treatment that lasts up to 6 months. Right now the regular keratin is $99, and the organic keratin is $79. I am not a big fan of hair coloring, but I hear the coloring experts here are phenomenal. I would recommend this salon to anyone local or visiting. read more

Salon is FILTHY! Walk in to a guy who doesn't greet you at all. Show them a pic of what you want and they argue you down. I showed the woman a pic, she does something completely opposite, 80s style streaks in my hair with no foils, just bleach laid on my unbleached hair! Never seen anything like it. When I mentioned it didn't seem right, she starts screaming and yelling about how she can't do what I asked for. Then the front desk guy comes over and tells me to leave the salon (mind you I have bleach in my hair) because he says I'm being rude by questioning the stylist (um, it is my hair isn't it?). I also had PREPAID and they refused to give me my money back! The final straw was when the guy told me "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! " Umm..I paid for YOUR SALON. Unreal. Avoid this place at all costs! First time I found this little gem was thru a groupon deal for a wash cut and blow dry which included a morracan oil treatment. My hair stylist was Monica and she did great. Yesterday I went back for the 2nd time with Monica again for the exact same thing. I called about an hour before to set my appt for the same day and was told to come in. Everyone is very polite. The salon is small but very cute inside. With regards to the review about them having a lot of Spanish ppl working there, this is true, but they all speak english. I went in indecisive about what type of cut I wanted and gave Monica some ideas so she went to work. The end results was perfect. This girl knows what she is doing and she is quick! Fastest blow dry ever! Love her :) They do have a nail polish section which has a lot of colors but if u want crazy bright colors you're better off bringing your own, they mostly have pinks, pastels, reds and oranges, which range from dark to light. I found this hair shop through word of mouth last year. It was the best find. The staff is professional, friendly, talented, and knowledgeable. I go to this beauty shop for a organic keratin, and cut. I also love how they blow dry , and flat iron my hair. I walk out every time feeling like a million bucks. Having nice hair gives you so much confidence. Extension dreams is that place to boost up your confidence. Also, the pricing is so affordable. I was going to Rachel until she no longer works there. Now I go to the owner, William. He is so nice, and patient. A genuine person. It is important I feel relaxed when I am getting my hair done. William does that. I was looking for a great hair salon close to my house and decided to look into groupon. I found this place last month and decided to try as it was just a few blocks from me. In my first visit the hair stylist ( I forgot her name,sorry)did a great job with balayage and blow dry. Because of that I decided to come again for NYE for a blow dry, but it was another hair stylist that did it. As I have very curly hair, I kept telling her that she should blow dry more with the brush and flat iron just a little bit at the end. Well, she didn't and I stayed quiet as I wanted her as a professional finish with her work. She kept using the flat iron over and over.I wasn't so happy with the look, but it was 7 pm on NYE and I thought whatever it's fine I guess. I paid $65 and left! In the middle of the party, my husband noticed that my roots and the bottom of my hair was getting curly. It was really frustrating as I didn't pay cheap to have a nice look for the party. I let it go as I didn't want to ruin my night. They were closed next day and I called the day after to speak to a manager. He was rude and seems like he didn't want to hear much what I had to say rushing me. I didn't ask for a freebie, but I did ask for what I paid for... A great blow dry job! Simple! He said that he would do if I only come back that day!! It was Saturday Janury 2nd and I wasn't able to go back because I was out of town for the holiday. I offered to come back Monday or Thursday, the days I would be available due to my work. He said that Monday was closed and Thursday was too far away! Hello???? Started coming here last year for the keratin straightening, and they do a great job! Staff is friendly, and I was offered coffee, water, etc. There is never a wait when you have an appointment, they are always ready for you. I went for a one-color overall hair dying last month, and she did a fast and efficient job. My hair looked great! I went back last week for a haircut, and she gave me lots of beautiful layers and nice new bangs (a trim was $35, and a full haircut was $45) I had told her I didn't know what I wanted, but I knew my hair needed "something". I read the reviews before I went to the place. And I'll have to agree with some of the customers. The place is clean and modern. The people there? Talk about friendly staff! The guy at the front desk didn't bother to greet you. The lady who cut my hair didn't seem to be happy to be there, didn't say a word to me during the entire session other than "what haircut do you want?" No warmth. I understand most of them there just because they have to be there to do their job. I guess they don't care or concerned about customers not want to return. Overall, I feel they are so indifferent, unfriendly and could care less unless you are a Spanish speaking customer. Oh, after the cut, she didn't bother to blow dry my hair, which I had not encountered anywhere else, blow dry costs extra. It's like an unfinished product. But I didn't bother to mention it. *Groupon Deal - $20 for a haircut and Moroccan Oil blowout* So let me start off by saying that the only reason i gave this place 2 stars is because i was attended by the sweetest lady ever! Although she did a horrible job, she was so nice. If you have curly hair, stay away from this place!!! Unless of course you're there for a keratin treatment. I made my appointment two weeks in advanced to let them know that I have very curly long hair and to please match me up with someone that has experience. I was kind of 'given' to anyone that was not doing anything at the moment. Now, i have to warn everyone, they DO NOT use Moroccan Oil products at this salon. I have worked at a high end salon as well as a beauty supply store and what they used was just a cheap Aragan oil (you can buy it at cvs). Haircut- She was very careful to not cut to much and kept measuring and telling me to trust her lol when i got home i noticed that my hair was about a billion different lengths. Blow out- She had no idea what she was doing. She blow dried it a bit (left it wet at the roots) and flat ironed it until it looked straight. She was still very nice, to the point that i felt bad telling her I knew it was a waste of time and gave her a tip anyways. By the time i got to my car it was a huge frizzy mess. The salon itself does not have proper ventilation for the types of treatments they do. Their doors were open to try to air it out (smelled like chemicals and smoke) but i think they forgot we are in Miami and the salon was just as humid as it was outside. I called to make an appointment 08/14 A man named Robert answered the phone, I informed him I purchased a groupon and requested to have my haircut with William since I was referred to him by someone I knew. Robert immediaty got frustrated when I mentioned the word "groupon" and said there are specific stylist that take groupon customers and William was not one of them. He went on to say that if I didn't like it, to return the groupon and simply just hung up on me! I called back and he hung up on me again.
