I have no issues with the nail technicians there. They are very friendly. However, I do have a few issues with the gel polish staying on my actual nails without peeling the next day. This is the second gel manicure I've gotten from here where the polish peeled in less than 24 hours of leaving the store. I wanted to give this place another shot and sadly it failed me again. I also wasn't very pleased with the inconsistent prices they were charging me. My first visit, a gel manicure soak off was $40. My last visit I was charged $45. When I asked the man at the front desk who I assume is in management or owner- why the price keeps changing, he said it hasn't changed and it was always $45. I don't mind paying an extra few dollars for a good quality manicure but again, not even 24 hours and the gel peeled off. read more

First two photos show 1 week with these dip nails. I Was with a group. They had customers but not super busy. I was charged $40 for dip that broke and chipped 2 hours later. Wtf. Dip should last at least a couple weeks. The last 3 photos show what they looked Iike same day. I think she only did one layer of clear and one layer of color. Ridiculously thin. No time to go back to get them fixed. Going elsewhere. They charged my sister $75 for tips and clear polish and my 9 year old niece $35 for a manicure when her nails are smaller than tictacs Edited to add that there was no hand soaking or lotion on massage or anything that always comes with a manicure. I needed to get a gel polish change. i called ahead and they gave me a 2:30 pm appointment. they took me right away when i arrived there early. 90 % of my gel was already off. First, they had only 1 basket of gel polish colors to look and choose from. the nail tech was kind to me but was rushing. she filed my nails super uneven. The LED light went off after just 20 seconds or so, normally i'm used to 90 seconds a hand and a total of 10 min the time im done. they normally tell me to wash my hands and then check to make sure everything looks nice before i pay. i didn't get that here. she just walked away and went into the back and i assumed i was finished? When i went to the front desk to pay the man said $40.0 i was seriously shocked! i didn't get a gel manicure. i got gel polish change. he said it was because i had gel removal! i didn't feel like arguing. i was over it at this point. i get in the car i drive home and 2 hours later guess what!!!! my 2 nails chip. see photo for reference. my experience there today was horrible. and so upset my nails are chipped. read more

This is my go-to nail salon when I am in PA. There prices are very reasonable and you can almost always walk-in, with no appointment, and be worked on right away! I used to get the powder dip manicure here. They have so many colors to choose from and always did a great job. Recently, I have been doing gel manicures and that is what I got done today. They did an awesome job! I love the time they take to make sure all the nails are even. I think the salon is very clean, and they always offer your bottles of water. When I have come here with people, they do their best to have you sit next to whoever you came with. I will definitely continue being a Happy Nails customer! read more

We're greeted with a friendly staff and sat down fairly quickly after we told them what services we needed. The pedicure was "good", but it felt rushed. Right after the pedicure, we're both passed onto another staff to perform the manicure. like we're being passed around like Subway sandwiches on a sandwich station. I could understand it if the person who performed the pedicure was only pedicure exclusive, but that was not the case from what we've witnessed. It just seems very unprofessional. The manicure was very, and I mean VERY rushed. The lady who performed my manicure must have been on some speed drugs. She barely scrape my nails, like she just runs the tools on top of my nails once, and she was in SUCH a f*king rush to finish my cuticle that she rip too much skin off, that it causes my finger to sting whenever I wash my hands. EXTREMELY Unprofessional. I get that places in this can get busy, but that is NO excuse to do a rush job at all. the attention to detail was just pathetic. I went to go treat myself before a weekend away and left with multiple cuticles bleeding and a poor job on my acrylics - which were supposed to be gel extensions and even called twice to make sure that my appointment was booked as that. I use to love going to this salon to get my gel manicures. I have been getting gels for 5 years now. I have never experienced chipping like this after one week of getting my nails done!! I am so frustrated. 35$ wasted on some chipped nails. I also did not like how there was no hand soaking involved before cutting my cuticles.. instead they soaked my nails in acetone and started picking my cuticles . All around my nails were so dry from the acetone. I'm sorry but last time I checked a manicure involves washing/ soaking your fingernails before polishing them to RINSE the acetone off of your hands. So when they would give you a pedicure you'd be sticking your feet in ice cold water. The customer service in general was just poor. The women's restroom is absolutely repulsive. On the wall with the mirror it looks like someone wiped their boogers all over it. Overall one of the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. This place doesn't even deserve one star. Actual outcome of a gel manicure was OK. But they don't sterilize their tools is the first shocker. And then something weird happened when I was there yesterday. The place was busy and had plenty of "staff". Then this guy, looking pretty casual with a note pad, walks in and all of a sudden 3/4 of the "staff" gets up in the midst of serving customers and quickly walks to the back and they are gone. So I have to question what is going on? Illegals? Not certified technicians? In any case, considering this is one of the most pricey nail salons in Exton, they should have certified, legally allowed to work staff that get paid appropriate wages, pay their taxes to sustain our community, and sterilize their tools, esp in times of what we just went through with Covid. The guys working there do excellent work. The ladies not so much. Went there 2 weeks ago and the girl used a file drill to take the polish off and went through my nail. I explained that to the girl I saw yesterday as she was preparing to use the same method of filing and she left little cuts all over my fingers. Then tries to clean the blood off with rubbing alcohol. I did love this place but they have definitely gone downhill in the last year. You don't really get a mani pedi either. They slap on lotion and a hot towel or plastic wrap. They don't bother to remove dead skin unless you point to it. Some comments: Doing a good job on nails and toes is not enough. The entire experience is what matters. There are salons everywhere so please read and observe these comments: 1. When customers enter, please get up from work station and come to front desk. Yelling to customer from a. Distance is disrespectful and shows lack of importance to customer. This a a spa, not a McDonalds drive thru. 2. Asking men if they want color for a pedicure, by yelling from working, in front of all the female customers is embarrassing. Stop it. Stop it NOW. 3. When one type of pedicure is $70 and one is $35, speaking to customer in English to clearly define service request is a good idea -- rather than accidentally getting more expensive one due to language barrier. 4. When technicians are working on a customer it is R U D E for them to be carrying on personal discussions with co-workers -- especially in Non-English language. I loved how my nails turned out. The girls did an amazing job & were very kind. They dipped my nails & put mood changing colors on them. Turned out awesome, however getting to that point was a very unpleasant experience. They remedied the situation with the rude guy that works there. Unfortunately there is a guy that works there who had bloodshot eyes, was sniffling the whole time who was going to put acrylics on my nails. I have been a customer since they opened. They used to be phenomenal and consistent, but it's not the case any longer. After 5 recent visits, including 7/8/19, here's what's declined: - Wait times are long and they don't tell you how long when you walk in. They'll place you in a chair, turn the water on too hot and soak your feet for up to an hour. - Pedicures are messy and you can see your nail through the polish - You won't get a nice foot massage depending on who you get - Prices vary when I get the same service. Made them crooked afff and 2. Just completely forgot to do a top coat on my entire left hand. I was leaving for a trip the next day and it was very incovinient to have to come all the way back just to get my mf top coat. What's really irking me right now though is that I got a simple gel manicure and pedicure yesterday, which I was charged OVER $100 for!!! That is a completely outrageous and unfair price, considering I have gotten gel pedicures with a full set of acrylics for $75 in prior visits. This salon is very dirty - something I didn't see until I was finished with my manicure. I will say that the man who did my mani did a very nice job but I'm sticking with one star because the salon was unsanitary, loud and the tools (emory boards, clippers, etc.) were not even clean let alone sanitized. The woman who did my pedi was rude. When I checked out, a man took my charge card. I asked him how much, he said $55. (I got a regular mani pedi) I got an alert from my credit card company that I was charged $56.92. $1.92 is not going to break me but it's dishonest. And I was not given a receipt.
