I showed them what was to be moved. They excused themselves went back to the truck. Then I got a call from their office they didn't want to do it so they were cancelling. I asked for my deposit back they said no because it was a same day cancelation. I talked to a lawyer I know he said file a fraud charge ack with the bank. I wish I hadn't used my debit card instead of credit card. Lawyer said deposit is to protect be against customer bailing out. It's part of what you paid them to do work, they changed their mind they have no right to keep the money. To be clear the one star is for dishonesty on the company's. Part. Otherwise I wouldn't have left any review. So Monday I will file a dispute with bank.

To start, when I called to get a quote I was asked to go room by room and list what items we had. So they knew up front. I was also informed they will take apart all beds and put them back together for us on this call. The day before the move, my husband moved the majority of boxes himself and hired TMAAT mainly for the heavy stuff because I just had a baby. I asked the men how long they thought this would take since we were estimated 10-11 hours on paper. They said this shouldn't take any longer than 8-9 hours. As moving started, we were told they couldn't touch my husbands bowflex (previously disclosed) unless the whole pulley system was taken off. Not an easy process. My husband and I decided to move it out the door ourselves. At this point I was only 6 weeks post a c section. My husband and I got it out of the door without removing any pulleys and asked if they could at least put it on their truck to take it to our new house. We were then told oh yeah I just didn't think it would fit out of the door with the pulleys connected. I had previously purchased and was charged for mattress bags at booking. I went upstairs to find the men moving my expensive mattress with no bag on it. I told them I paid for mattress bags. They told me they weren't informed of this and had to call their supervisor. I showed the receipt I had. They said someone from their office had to bring the bags to us. We waited at least an hour. You are charged hourly for this service and here they are ready to load up this mattress and now they can't. They worked on a few other things but I know this stalled the move. When the guy showed up with the bags he had brought a queen bag for my king mattress so now he had to go back to their office and get the right size. Here we are waiting AGAIN. This took at least another hour. Next, we were told for liability reasons they can take apart the bunk beds and crib that we had (again previously disclosed) but they can't put them back together. My toddler was the one still sleeping in the crib and if you aren't the one taking something apart, it's not going to be easy to just put together quickly yourself. The next issue: I informed the men that the refrigerator will not fit through the door with its doors on. They first tried to just remove the handles and open the doors but since the doors don't open fully they proceeded to wedge and get the refrigerator stuck and had to go back and remove the doors as I told them. My husband called the supervisor to see if the man that took apart the crib could at least assist putting it back together. They agreed to this. At this point, the movers couldn't find the bolts to the crib. They also remembered they had left the bolts to another bed at the old house. They lost something else I don't remember what, but my husband had to drive to the old house himself multiple times for them. One man took forever trying to figure out how to put the refrigerator back together. The door handle is still loose and the front is all scratched up. They left trash at our house and even their own furniture pads were left behind. Walls were damaged. They said they shaved hours off the move to compensate us for the problems, but this time, in my opinion, was time we should never have been charged anyway. Time waiting on mattress bags (twice!), time looking for lost items, my husbands time and gas running between homes, time to put back together a refrigerator (a professional should not have taken that long)..... they never found the crib bolts. I eventually found them a few days later. We were not compensated or discounted for this HORRIBLE experience other than shaving a few hours off the time which was time we shouldn't have been responsible for anyway. They ended up clocking it at 13 hours and charged us for 10.5. Interesting as they originally said easy move 8-9 hours. I was told to file a claim for everything else.

What they did to my household was not just negligent--it was chaotic, dishonest, and borderline criminal. I hired them for a major relocation, trusting them with my family's possessions. What I received was a nightmare: - My Ashley dresser arrived with broken legs - They lost the hardware needed to assemble my desk - My Ring camera system--gone, never delivered, never accounted for - They never helped unpack or assemble a single item - My son's bed was only halfway assembled - My box spring mattress frame was put together only after I walked them through it step-by-step - They left furniture wrapped in filthy, stained blankets and walked out without finishing the job They didn't even show up until after 4:30 PM. The driver, Adam, claimed they were late because they couldn't find anyone to unload the truck. And who did they eventually bring? Tweakers. Literal tweakers off the street. A toothless elderly woman, a dazed man, and his erratic girlfriend--none of whom had any idea what they were doing. This was not a moving crew. This was a liability parade. They were in a rush to leave because it was getting dark. I asked them to stay and finish the job--they refused. They dumped my belongings, left my furniture half-assembled, and vanished. I later discovered my Ring camera system was missing. No explanation. No accountability. At first, they admitted fault and promised to reimburse me. I have the texts. They told me to hire a handyman through Thumbtack and said they'd cover it. I did. They ghosted me. Then they offered to cover "one section" of the damage--ignoring the rest. Eventually, they denied all responsibility and accused me of causing the damage myself. Why would I intentionally stain my own couch? It was less than two years old and in perfect condition. The ink stain was fresh and embedded in the fabric. There was no matching stain on the blanket, which means it either wasn't wrapped properly or they swapped the blanket to cover it up. And the pricing? Classic bait-and-switch. I originally signed with a different company. Their rep, Edwin, was aggressive in winning my business. I told him my biggest concern was price changes. He promised a binding quote and said the "owner" would call to reassure me. I got a call from someone claiming to be "Alex"--but it was actually Amelia, pretending to be the owner. Later, I spoke to the real Alex (a man). That tells you everything you need to know. I demanded a video walkthrough via WhatsApp and showed Edwin every item. He confirmed: "The price will not change." Then the crew tried to upcharge me by over $4,000. I told them to take everything off the truck. Their warehouse manager, Bashem, called the owner and cut the upcharge in half. Still, they drained the money I needed to start my life again. I was left penniless. And Edwin? The moment the upcharge hit, he vanished. When the truck arrived, Adam refused to unload anything until I signed paperwork. I hadn't seen a single item. I had no choice. Their "insurance partner"? A shady third-party portal designed to protect them, not you. No transparency. No accountability. And when I began pursuing legal action, they tried to blackmail me. They threatened to call my new employer and slander me if I didn't drop the case. Let that sink in. I offered a $2,000 settlement in good faith. My legal counsel has since advised me to pursue full damages, attorney's fees, and punitive compensation. I've filed formal complaints and will exhaust every legal and regulatory option available. After…read morewalking through our house and quoting us $12k and picking up our belongs (2 days late) and not bringing the right truck, they told us they "misquoted" and demanded another $36k and said they would not leave the state until we wired them that additional $36k, keeping in a storage place in CO (so they unloaded and reloaded multiple times). Filed with DOT and Better Business Bureau and they did nothing. This company have obviously done this to every customer and so demand cash before they would bring our stuff and refusing to tell us where our stuff was being warehoused. We paid the $36k because they were hostage holding valuables and family heirlooms we couldn't let go. They showed up with a crew who were not movers, just day workers they picked up that day so had no experience moving. 1/3 of our furniture was destroyed and multiple holes and dings to our house because they were careless. We were told had to file with their insurance claims company, which we did. That company kept telling us 4-6 weeks, then 2 more weeks, then 2 more weeks. 3 months later they just emailed saying they can't process our damages claim because Move with a Pro has not been paying them for their services and basically told us you need to follow up with them and good luck getting a response.

After coming out taking a look at her storage, he quoted a one price to move her from one unit to the another smaller unit at the same storage location . Once the move was half way complete , Rich the hustler started telling my mom that this is extra and oh yeah... that's extra... really dude... trash!!!!! I used him a couple of times and each time I've noticed his scheme.... Dude is a crook and don't be fooled by all the 5 star reviews that you read on here.... This is raw and the truth!!!! You know what, his reputation is so terrible that he has had to change social media platforms and block real reviews!!!!! Ask him what happened to the awful review from the young lady who moved to Houston Tx about two years ago!!!! She darn sure did write about the horrible experience that she had and how he took her money.... I tried not to believe it too.... I'm done and I will never use his service or refer this liar to anyone. This owner/ liar and crook needs to be reported to the authorities for proper punishment......tried to use the brother man......smh.
