Her shipping store doesn't even accept UPS packages so why mention $2 fee to me and tell the FedEx rep I had UPS packages? Business must be super slow that she's feeling the need to try and scam prepaid customers out of money and not the cleanest place to do business store looked a mess! I'll just continue to make my trips to Gurnee FedEx or drop my packages off at Walgreens for FedEx pick up.

Our realtor recommended Two Girlz. They came in and helped her sort through things to keep, donate and move. In addition, they sorted out things being separately moved to a different address. They came in the day before the move to do some final checking and the day of the move to coordinate with the movers. Moving and would strongly caution others…read more We were initially quoted approximately $3,600 for our move after providing a detailed inventory multiple times and confirming everything in advance. We were reassured the move would take about 8-9 hours with 4 movers and that the total would remain close to that estimate. This move was from one house to another house within a mile of each other in the same neighborhood! On move day, the crew did conduct an inventory at the beginning but did not communicate any changes or provide an updated estimate. They proceeded to load all of our belongings onto the truck. Only after everything was loaded did they inform us that the total had increased to over $13,000 -- more than four times what we were quoted. At that point, they refused to unload any of our belongings unless we paid in full. Even after we paid approximately $12,000, they still would not begin unloading until additional payment was made. This happened late at night with all of our possessions on their truck, leaving us with no real option. We asked to speak with a supervisor to understand the charges. Although he was placed on speakerphone, he refused to speak with us or explain why the cost had increased so dramatically. Throughout the process, we were repeatedly required to sign documents on a phone that we could not properly review, and they would not explain what we were signing. We were told we had to sign to continue while under pressure due to a strict move-out deadline. The final bill included many concerning charges, including: * Repeated charges for the same items/services (exercise equipment, Peloton, TVs, glass handling) * Significant material charges (e.g., dozens of rolls of tape and excessive wrapping) that we did not authorize and explicitly asked them not to use * Additional services that were not clearly disclosed in advance *They broke our new storm door and our master King Bed Frame. At the end of the move, we were also required to provide photographs of our credit card and identification, which took over an hour. We never agreed to this beforehand and felt extremely uncomfortable given the circumstances. Overall, this experience felt highly pressured and not transparent. The final cost was dramatically higher than what was represented, and we were not given a fair opportunity to review or approve charges before being required to pay. If we did not pay in full, we were not getting our materials. I began to fear for my kids and my safety. I have never been in such a terrifying pressuring situation that I was completely taken advantage of!

The day of the move they weren't so responsive, it was the weekend so I understand that the office wouldn't be open but I wasn't called or emailed on the day of the move for when they were arriving and we sat there expecting them to arrive between the hours they gave me,( kinda boring when you packed everything already). It wasn't until after the window of time they gave me that I got a call that they would be arriving late. I'm okay with them being late (I assume another move took longer than expected, understandable), but it would've been nice to have gotten a call at the beginning of the window to have some peace of mind that I wouldn't be getting stood up. We ended up postponing to the next day (it was getting late and it started pouring rain), and they called ahead of the appointment to let me know they were coming and arrived on time and the movers were very nice and efficient. I had to send back items on 2 occasions during the delivery because the driver tried giving me items that weren't mine. I'm assuming that's where my TV and missing kitchen box went. Damaged items: Broken sectional couch frame and torn fabric (underside), torn fabric headboard, Sanyo WiFi ready blue ray player broken, some bowls broken, glasses cracked/broken. And kitchen table top cracked and scratched (clearly dropped). *I have pictures of all of these damages. Pricing was competitive compared to other movers I found on Craigslist especially they gave me free in home estimates, on top of that they were available.. lifesaver!! My mom had so much kitchenware and fragile stuff I was stressing out because I had no time to pre-packaged them before the movers came, ended up that the movers were able to carefully wrap them in blankets, and provided bins, wooden crates, basically did all the work. The movers were super cool and polite, especially my mom that can't speak English they were still very kind. When the belongings arrived, the movers even assisted with unpacking everything as well. We also went over the mileage predictions. On moving day, Joseph and Matt showed up with their truck and they busted their asses loading. I had everything pre-staged ready to go in about 40 boxes and they padded wrapped my furniture. They were done in just over an hour. Moving into my new place...just over an hour. Again, my old place although a 2300 sq/ft house had minimalist contents. The great news is Joseph's prediction on time and mileage was spot on and I had no damage to my possessions.
