They were available when I wanted them and reserving a spot was easy. I received a contract through email and my time was scheduled. I received a call the day before to confirm our appointment. The team arrived on time and actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing! They communicated very well with each other, took extra steps to protect my items and took precautions with pads and floor runners to also protect the houses. They had the job done so quickly, I was amazed!! Everything was in its proper place when they left. I have never had a better moving experience!! About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed. The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company's insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company. This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.
