Be aware!!. You won't keep the rate that you receive when you sign up for too long. In mid October I rented a unit for a fee of $246 a month; not even 3 months into my lease, I received a notice in the mail saying that my rate was going up to $330 next month. That is $84 difference, a 35% increase!! and I didn't even get a 30 day notice, as provided by law. I called and complained and they delayed the increase as they did not provide a notice in a timely manner; however, an increase of 35% seems totally unreasonable and unethical. read more

We needed a storage space at the last minute and Lynda went out of her way to help and find a unit for us even though most locations were full. We were able to move our items into the storage space easily. There was plenty of space to park the truck and unload even though the unit was inside a climate control space. read more

We needed a place to store our college-age son's stuff during the summers and saw a lot of negative reviews of other storage places in Providence and were wondering if we could ever find a good one. Finally we found this Extra Space Storage which had good reviews. They were spot on! This location is clean and easy to navigate, set up, and move his belongings in. Amy was very helpful both years with scheduling when we were not sure when we would take possession of the unit. We chose to take his stuff all the way home this year due to COVID but Amy was understanding with that too. You cannot go wrong with this place! read more

I am very disappointed in this place. First of all, they advertise 1 month free, I never got that. Then when I wanted to move out, I asked how it worked and was told that if I was paid for the month that I would be prorated. I am on an extremely fixed income which is why I had to leave in the first place. Once I was cleaned out, I called and they said they wouldn't give me my money back so they stole 3 weeks of rent on me. I would never recommend anybody to this place. Thieves!!!!!! read more

Beware!!! Storage unit clean, we have a indoor storage but beware thry jack up prices on you after 2-3 months. They let you feel like you are getting a great deal until you get a notice in the mail stating yoyr fee is increasing in 30 days. Called the manager best they can do is reduce it by $8/month.
