I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been incredibly disappointing…read more I completed my rental paperwork online and went to the facility to finalize everything. I was told the system was down and that I would receive my access code by text. I rented a U-Haul and picked up furniture to move into storage that same evening, but I never received a call or text. I spent hours trying to reach the facility with no success. The automated system eventually provided an access code, but it didn't work. Because I couldn't access the unit I had rented, I had to unload all of the furniture back at my home before returning the U-Haul. The next day I returned to the facility and found a sign on the door stating the office was closed because the internet and phones were down. I contacted customer service and submitted a request through corporate, but I still have not received a response. At this point I have paid for a storage unit I have never been able to use, lost valuable time, and incurred additional moving expenses. I simply expected basic communication and access to the unit I rented.

Than we found out that the cameras were not working. And 2 months ago they jacked up their price almost $40 a month on us stating the greater cost of electricity and upkeep. Funny how an outside unit that does not have electricity. Than they also said that we were not paying the going rate for the unit. No warning or letter was given. I was just told when I went in to pay that month that the rate was increased. I did get a letter a month later though.
