They likely provide more services than I can think of or recall. I needed to rent a U-Box to move my daughter and granddaughter to St. Augustine from California. Taking care of the rental was a simple online task and the location of the business in this review was the closest to our home. We only had until a certain date to empty the U-Box or pay for a month of storage at this facility, which is an option for as long as you need to do so and it's less costly than renting a storage unit somewhere else or having it delivered to your driveway, which is also an option. I worked with the manager, Ryan, and he was very helpful, provided outstanding customer service and was fully understanding of our overall situation which is far too detailed to include herein. The only logical, and least costly option was to rent the 10' truck. Only one was available and it had just been returned when we arrived to empty the contents of the U-Box and load it onto the truck. However, after Ryan had checked the back of the 10' truck he told me that it was extremely dirty and offered us a 15' truck at the same price. That is likely something he didn't HAVE to do and could have just told us that all he could do was rent us a 15' truck for the extra $10.00 and I am very thankful to him for that. $10.00 isn't a fortune, but when you consider that you are required to return the truck full of gas, every little bit helps, especially in our current economic condition. Another associate, whose name I cannot recall, was kind enough to back the truck up a ramp to make it easier for us to load the truck from the U-Box without having to do it outside in the heat and humidity. It wasn't air conditioned, but it was out of the direct sunlight, so definitely a plus. By the time we loaded the truck and drove home with the contents, we were too exhausted to empty it so we waited until the following morning. That took some time and I became concerned that I might not make it back with the truck by the time it was due. I contacted Ryan and discussed the issue, and he was very understanding, in fact, he told me they would allow me extra time (within reason). It's not easy finding customer service of that level anymore and I was very thankful for his understanding. My bottom line; if you need any of the types of services offered by this facility, do yourself a favor and use it at this specific location. Everyone from start to finish was outstanding regarding all facets of customer service.

The management here are complete stalkers and though it is a reasonably nice facility, you will find yourself literally being followed around and being lectured about people leaving exterior doors slightly ajar, how you better not have creepy crawlies in your stuff, don't scratch the floors, put the carts exactly where you found them, $1000 fine to use the dumpster and on and on and on. Notes all over the place, don't do this, don't do that. They seem to forget that IT IS JUST AN OVERPRICED WAREHOUSE! Look as customers, we just want in and out as fast and as conveniently as possible. If that is too much to ask, which it obviously is, we are not your customers. For the $1500 a year we pay to rent it, it would be nice to be treated as a customer. I do not need to be stalked when busting my chops moving heavy items. I had intended to keep the unit indefinitely for our business, not now.

They will not give you any information except that someone will call you back and they never do. It seems very shady that you can't speak to a district manager about the ongoing problems. Other than driving over the Buckman, obviously. My daughter, her friend, and I were unloading her truck when we saw a guy pass by at the end of the units all quiet like a ninja. I was leaning against the side of my Ford F150, sweating and questioning my life choices. Next thing I know, this gentleman isn't a ninja at all but instead is the new Store Manager of the facility now owned by Securcare and he's bringing us bottles of water. Out of the years my daughter's been renting here, not once has anyone been as friendly as Alex has. We talked for a bit about the planned renovations for the property before he excused himself to assist some other customers. TL;DR Don't let the appearance fool you. You will be pleasantly surprised dealing with the Securcare Crew. Highly recommended!

I found out on a Sunday, and had my kids with me. Secure storage it is not. If anyone has tried to talk to a live person at FedEx I would appreciate getting the contact…read moreinformation. It is impossible to get to a live person regarding a claim. I'm sure that it's because they don't want to talk to actual people about the absolutely horrible service they provide. I filed a claim in September, followed up on it about a month later only to be told that it was delayed because they were still looking for the package. Needless to say I was extremely upset. I was finally able to get to someone who promised me that they would escalate my inquiry. That was two months ago and I have not heard from them. I tried to contact them today only to get a total run around. Their automated system said that the claim was denied although I haven't received any communication from FedEx whatsoever. No matter what I try I am unable to get to a live person. The claim was for one box out a five piece shipment. The five boxes made up one total item that I was returning. Because one box didn't make it I couldn't receive a refund for the return of the item. Now I am out not only the cost of the item (the return window closed) and the cost of shipping an item that never made it!! How does that seem reasonable? If I could rate FedEx lower than not good I would do it in a heartbeat
