This is a good storage facility in my opinion. I've used a few units over the years to assist in moving between homes and apartments, and this one provides an adequate facility. There are dollies and moving materials available to assist renters with moving their belongings from loading areas to their storage unit. There are also restrooms available for individuals to use while inside the facility's property. There are many different size storage units available for rent. The staff is extremely helpful in assisting and are prompt with answering any questions. read more

I used Extra Space Storage for years with my business and got fed up with the constant price increases with no change in service or facility. I cleared everything out because I did not want to keep paying the rent that had gone from reasonable to outrageous. So...to make this story longer. I bought an RV and needed to find a location to store it. You guessed it. The best rate I could get was Extra Space Storage in Riverview. We have been storing the RV for about 4 months and YEP. We moved to the Tampa area recently and had a large sea container filled with our household goods. We shopped around and found that the Extra Space Storage facility in Riverview Florida on route 301 was the best place to store our cherished possesions. The facility is clean and well kept, security is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our experience so well that we came back two weeks later and rented another space from them. I've been a long time customer at store #1319 In Riverview Florida on Hwy 301. We never had an issue until I called today to ask about paying and closing our space. The representative named Nina was HORRIBLE. She was extremely condescending, made comments such as "oh really?" and all around had a rude tone and just sound like a miserable old hag who doesn't have respect for anyone. She treated me as if I was a criminal because I was for the first time 29 days late. I made a payment online and then called back to let them know so they could take the lock off of my space so I can vacate tonight. The Manager Chris stated that he was sitting next to Nina while she was on the phone with me and he did not find any issue with the tone in which she spoke to me. Which explains why she was more than happy to pass me to him during the initial call. Obviously she knew they were two peas in a pod. When I gave Chris the feedback, he said that he felt she was not rude nor condescending. That explains why she is allowed to speak to the customers like that. If the Managers don't understand service then the staff will not have the skills either. Obviously both the staff and Manager need to get customer service training. I'm not sure if the fact that our last name is Latino that they thought it was ok to be nasty, but we had never had any issues with the rep that worked there before named Charlie. His service was so great, it was the reason we stayed with them this long. Bring him back! FIRE THE MANAGER CHRIS & NINA! Chris couldn't guarantee me that even after I made the payment online that it was going to be enough to take the lock off my space. I had to insist on him verifying it so that we don't have any issues when we show up to vacate tonight. That's just horrible. What kind of Manager doesn't know or want to go the extra mile for a long time customer? The answer is one who doesn't know how to Manage. I will be posting this on FB, TWITTER & YELP for everyone in my community beware of the unprofessionals that work there. By the way I'm a 20yr Operations Manager who runs a Customer Service Call Center of 60 employees. I'm an expert at Customer Service and Chris & Nina are seriously lacking the SERVICE MENTALITY.
