Very easy to set up on computer. Needed a place to store holiday stuff. There is no light in the unit and there are a few holes in the walls. I am a senior and needed a place for the holiday stuff because I lack a place to store them. I was able to move in the day I rented the unit which was a pleasent surprize. It is very close to me so I don't have to drive very far, which is nice too. read more

I rented the unit as part of an emergency safety plan. The staff called me almost daily to inquire if I wanted the unit. I paid the rent on time each month and the calls kept coming. Then when I decided having it was more of a problem than It was worth with all of the calls asking if I wanted the unit that I rented and paid for, I didn't pay the rent. Then the daily call changed from "do you need it? "You don't have anything in it!"" We see it's empty" to "were putting a lien on your stuff". I've told them dozens of times "I don't want the unit anymore stop calling me!" Dozens of calls related to it being empty now dozens of calls they're taking my stuff that I never put there. I'm glad I didn't now!!! I'd never EVER do business with these weirdos again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! Just dont rent here unless it's an emergency! Rats, mice, roaches and even a brown recluse! Pieces of ceiling falls onto your stuff. There are holes in the walls inside the units "fixed" with duct work tape. At the entrance you have to get out to enter the code to get into the place AND also have to enter your code to leave. I have never heard of that before. There is ONE dumpster for the whole property. Rude, rude, rude management that likes to be nosey and ask if you are moving out when you only go to go through some of your things. I had no where to put my things after divorce so I had to be there. It was 5 years too long! I wish I went somewhere else in the beginning besides public storage. Please pay the few dollars extra to rent somewhere else that is a/c and cares about their customers. read more

Several units need to have their walls repaired, roof falling and doors too hard to lift. Repairs that must be done immediately. However, what can not be denied is the attention and courtesy of manager Nicole who are worth more than any oversight of corporate management. read more

Signed contract at one price which changed a month later. Insurance added then removed and added back with continual billing errors. Never had a light in the unit which made finding anything in the unit inconvenient. The unit itself was in poor shape with insulation falling off the ceiling and holes in the walls between units obvious water damage. requires renters to get out of cars to enter code entering and leaving instead of automatic gate upon exit.. Staff unfriendly and repeatedly rude when I could get a hold of them trying to get billing rectified. Spent hours on the phone getting routed around in circles. Finally got sick of wasting my time and energy and moved to a cheaper larger more friendly storage with a different company 24 x 7 access electric and lighting. read more

Joe the manager was nothing less than rude and mean to me and my dad. This location was the only one with an appointment available within a month, living in palm harbor I drove 45 minutes to make the appointment. My dad arrived first as they said it would take 3 hours to install a hitch and bike rack. My dad warned me when I arrived that the guy was not pleasant and upset I was late. He had changed my appointment from 815 to 8 the morning of and claimed I was late, and that if I had arrived on time he would have been able to finish in 45 minutes. Now he wouldn't be able to work on it until 3pm because he had a meeting. I just walked away from him at the desk, I had no nice things to say and had never been treated with such disrespect. I went back in to just buy the hitch so my dad could put it on (best dad ever) and asked not to be cashed out by him because I felt so uncomfortable with his anger and attitude. I would love for someone from uhaul to reach out to me to explain the situation further because he can not continue acting this way towards customers. read more

She showed me the location of my storage, and carefully explained all the details. The facility was clean and well lit. Facility was clean & first month is only $1. The reason I give it 3 stars is: - they force you to take insurance which I think is just another way for them to get more money from you, - the office manager was so nosey. She wanted to know everything we were going to put in our unit. "Will you have a couch? Will you have lamps, boxes, beds, tables? Will you be removing boxes or other items in and out of the unit before closing out your account?" It was like the Spanish Inquisition! It's really none of her business what we put in the unit unless we are doing something illegal. Just give me a unit to put my stuff in and quit being so nosey!!! - the key pad to enter the facility requires you to get out of your vehicle when entering and exiting. Normally you drive up to the key pad, roll your window down, punch in the code, and drive thru, but not here. - the office manager really pushes selling more boxes & tape to you. - and last but not least, you can't enter the facility after their posted hours. Every storage facility I've used before allows you to enter any time you want because you have your own code. We were told that this was not possible because they "feel they are giving us the lions' share of time." We only agreed to these crazy terms because we were desperate and they were very close to our new home. We were moving from TN to FL and had to return the UHaul the next day. Fortunately, we only had to use them for 7 days. read more

ZERO RATING! This facility has a rodent infestation! The insurance only covers $250.00 for Vernin! Dead rats and skeletons in unit. Rat urine and feces on everything. All beds and furniture is ruined. Management and upper management including regional was nasty and refused to take responsibility or offer any compensation. Very , very upsetting. Some Google reviews have a 5 star rating, they must be false. The real reviews are the ones that have one star and complaints of the same rodent problems going back a year! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. dont store your stuff here. i rented my unit a little over a year ago at 89.00 a month and they raised my rate soon after to 121.21 a month. i just got a notice on the 11th of the month that in july my new bill is 140.47. at the time i rented my unit i was told you had to have insurance on your unit it was the law, come to find out its just their policy. my unit was broken into within the last six months (dont know when as i dont go there every month). they broke in through another unit. there is only 1 layer of very thin drywall on most sides of my unit.anyone renting there or if a unit is empty can easily just knock the drywall out and get your stuff. the officer that is handling the case informed me there is only 1 camera in the whole place and by the gate so the whole place is un-secure. they also erase the video after a very short time so its hard to catch anyone unless its noticed right away. the officer also said the lady in the office wasnt very cooperative. she left standing in the office for over 20 minutes while she was on the phone. i rented a larger unit at park mini storage for 65.00 a month (less than half of public storage) and the unit is all concrete including the ceiling. its not as pretty but they have cameras everywhere and its a lot cheaper. oh and if you do have your stuff stored here better take a picture of everthing in there or get your receipts together and store them somewhere else theyre not safe there!!!!! their so called insurance wants pictures or receipts of everything you have. i had over 600 vinyl albums stolen that i had been collecting since the 70's and even if i had receipts for them they are now in the up-side down unit im renting from them. avoid at all costs!!!! lots of places nicer, friendlier, cheaper and more secure. tommorow im going to talk to an attorney because this places security is a joke. and i lost a lot of things i cant replace even if they ever pay me anything lol what you pay them today will be more tommorow read more
