HORRIBLE. They DOUBLED the price of my storage unit from $87 to $187 and "sent a letter" to let me know of the price increase. I've only had this unit for 5 months and got 3 months at the original rate before their "market analysis" casually implemented a $100 increase. UNBELIEVABLE. Rent from them with extreme caution because they may jack the price up another $100!!!! It's not exactly easy to just move storage units either. HORRIBLE COMPANY! read more

Facility is fine and staff very helpful but doubled my rates after three months by notifying me with a postcard.

I recently had to find climate controlled storage for some of my musical equipment. After researching I settled on Extra Space Storage. I only needed a 5x5, and got it for $50ish/month. Paid for three months in advance so I wouldn't need to worry about it. Fast forward, I need more time and was considering a 5x10. When I logged into my account I saw that my upcoming payment (first one since I prepaid) was over $100, about double my previous payment. I thought maybe they wanted three months payments, so I called them. Nope, they were essentially doubling the price; no email, text, no advanced notice. Had I not called I never would have known. Needless to say, I'm moving to a new facility. While checking around I specifically asked if this was a policy and not one other storage facility did this. A couple remarked that they have customers come to them because of this. IMHO this is classic bait and switch. So if you need storage space, Extra Space Storage! read more

I haven't done business there for 2 years, because I moved 350 miles away and closed it out after several years of storing there. I'm not sure who manages it now, but if it is "Rich," he was very accommodating and helpful with any problem from needing help to reach an upper storage unit, to sawing off a lock one lost the key to, to changing account information. I didn't like that the rates jumped a bit too much for my satisfaction, but that was not his fault, and he was always polite, friendly, and helpful, so I stayed until I moved. Thank you. read more

I have to write a review because of the great service I received from Rich at this storage store. I had just made a long drive from Florida for family reasons and was exhausted and looking for a storage unit to rent. Rich was a great help with his patience in helping me move into this storage unit. Rich helped me to determine what size unit I needed before I made a decision on renting one. While this storage facility is gated and secure, the fees go up regularly. I originally wondered if that long computerized contract would come back and bite me in the butt, and yes, I'm sorry to say it did! Now I found a much cheaper and secure storage facility nearby, but I have to move again! If I hadn't been in such a hurry in the first place, I would have done better research and not chosen this one. read more

Had my things in storage there for 9 years, which was much longer than anticipated, but overall experience was really good. Very friendly staff and clean premises. Easy in and easy out. I would suggest that anyone storing anything, think hard about what you decide to store and pay rent for! Once you're there the fee never goes down and if you don't have a definite exit plan it can add up over the years. I'm happy to still have Grandma's old furniture, but had I known it would be so long I definitely would not have saved/paid to keep a lot of the other junk!! read more

If i can give it zero stars i would! I have had my unit for just about a year and i just recieved a notice that my rate is going up 25+ dollars!!! They just raised it almost 20$ in the beginning of the year! Absolutely absurd!! Needless to say i will be moving my stuff out by the end of the month! Buyer beware!!!!
