Two men and a Truck gave a quote but was rather complex, including an extra $50 to move a TV larger than 40" (every TV on earth) and also offering to pad hallways for $50 or something. They also required a deposit. MP had a flat hourly rate of $120 per hour, minimum 2 hours, after which billing is done in 15 min increments with time beginning from time leaving office. No deposit required, no extra fees of any kind. They also gave me a call the day before my move and about two hours prior to their scheduled arrival which was excellent. My two movers were John and Jay (J and J), these two were phenomenal. Due to Covid, I offered masks and gloves to which they replied that they'd be happy to wear them if I liked. When I asked some others during phone quotes, I was told that masks could not be warn because it makes their job difficult. When they arrived, they were very professional, dressed in clean uniforms. They had a very nice 26 foot Moving Places box truck in very good condition, not some old rusty van. Anyways, we filled out paperwork (2 min, standard stuff) and the guys got to work after scoping out the rooms. J and J moved efficiently and took great care of my furniture. Everything was padded well in truck. They didn't leave any sort of marks on the wall on their way out or up. They unloaded everything quickly and efficiently, set up the furniture how I like it and assembled things quickly too. All times for billing were accurate and simple, very easy to follow. They accept cash and check which is great. I have moved many times in my life and this was the most positive experience, highly recommend these guys!

I asked for some sort of compensation for wasting 3+ hours of my day, and the response was basically that they "couldn't lose money on the move."
