The beds were removed to wash but never returned. They had to sleep on the concrete floor for most of their stay. They did put a comforter in there for 1 night. But it was peed on because pee pads that I supplied were not put down. So after that was removed, they had nothing. The camera is grainy at best especially at night. And my dogs stayed by the glass doors so I couldn't see them most of the time as the camera didn't show that area. So it was useless to pay for that when 90% of the time, you can't see them. It made me sick to look at the camera and not see any beds! My dogs will not be coming back! What's not in the photo? My dogs or beds!

The staff at Surf City Pawville definitely have the right touch because from day one, my boy has not had an issue and is in and out inside of a few minutes. I haven't had a need for boarding or day care, but if I do, I'm certain my guy will feel loved and enjoy the experience. He loves his friends here and always seems so happy to visit.

Some aren't so great, so you get what you pay for... SALTY PAWS is the best of all the worlds! Their prices are affordable, especially with everything included, AND they also take amazing care of my dogs. Seriously, every time they stay, they're so happy and well cared for when I picked them up. They are always clearly exhausted from playing all the time, and each time we go back, they run to the staff to give them love and head right back to the back. We've since moved from Sneads Ferry closer to Jacksonville, and I wouldn't even consider taking them somewhere else when we vacation. I'd drive an hour if I had to, just so I have piece of mind that they're in good hands while we're gone. p.s. I have a lab and a shiba inu. Everyone loves the lab, but very few people have ever really liked our shiba... except the staff at Salty Paws. Our little "cat dog" has actually made friends there. It's a miracle :)

My dog doesn't even look back at us when we drop her off here. She enjoys her day here. I appreciate the photos that are posted of my dog's day at day care. I was in the area for a month and needed boarding and daycare during the month. I felt safe leaving my dog here while I was out of town. The boarding service was so great we decided to bring her for daycare. The price and service are exceptional compared to a few overpriced places I've used in major metropolitan areas with me leaving wondering if they even know my dog's name. We also booked grooming here after boarding. They did a great job. We have also used their "refresher" service after a daycare day. They even went "frog hunting" with the pups every night in the backyard. I came home after two weeks to a spotless house, and they even bathed the dogs while I was away. I also appreciated that with this service comes advance scheduling, coverage for cancellations, etc., all that you can't get with a Rover sitter and what I couldn't take a risk on with such a big trip. Not only did help me raise the funds by sharing my fundraiser, she grew to love both my dogs. I never leave the house unless my boyfriend is home because my dog has separation anxiety and destroys the house. The new dog has grown severely attached to me, I assume from whatever trauma he faced on the streets. The new one is not crate trained and screams and soils himself if you put him in one. I have a lot of medical conditions that I used to have to cancel appointments for if I my boyfriend was out of town for work. After we talked to Bill on the phone we enrolled Teddy in the six week obedience training course. And what a blessing! We found their prices very reasonable and the training was excellent.
