After we talked to Bill on the phone we enrolled Teddy in the six week obedience training course. And what a blessing! We found their prices very reasonable and the training was excellent. There were six dogs in our class and each dog had their own set of issues and personalities. The love, respect and compassion Bill showed our pets was nothing short of amazing. My lab has major separation anxiety and my shepherd is very dog reactive to anyone who isn't her brother. Have you ever had something happen with a pup and you are completely lost on what to do? Well…read morethat's what happened with us and we are sooooo thankful for Mike at Anytime Dog Training!! Our 5 month old male pittie mix bit our son requiring a trip to the pediatrician and 2 fur parents who have dogs all their lives with no clue what to do with the pup. We didn't want to give him away, we contacted the rescue we got him from who said they'd probably put him down, so I started reaching out to trainers for help. The email I sent Anytime Dog Training probably made me sound like a crazy person just overreacting, but I was anxious and overwhelmed, and Mike reached out on the day they received the email (the day they were closed btw) to find out what was going on and were able to come over the next day for a consult. We felt immediately better after meeting Mike and his wife and knew we had picked the right place. We dropped our pup Loki off for a 3 week board and train for behavioral modification and knew he'd be ok. The facility was clean and well-maintained, nice and cool on one of the hottest days of the year so far. It's always scary leaving your baby for their first overnight stay away from home but Mike eased our nerves by sharing videos of Loki making new friends, putting in the training work, and how absolutely happy he was being there. Mike brought him to our home several times throughout the weeks for us to train with Loki as a family for us to see how far he'd come in his training, along with getting our son comfortable with Loki again. I mean Loki loves Mike, and you've gotta be a pretty good guy to gain the love and respect from a big head bully pup! We could not be anymore impressed with Mike's skill and expertise with training our stubborn Loki, and answering all the questions and the fears from his mama lol. Teaching Loki to be a better version of his self was worth every penny we spent for the care and professionalism he received. Now that we know we've found the best, we will never board our Loki anywhere else. Plus definitely plan on sending him and his big sister Penny there for doggy daycare to play again soon!!

The people there are super nice and they do a fantastic job…read more My dog is very difficult to groom and they worked with him but also aren't afraid to let me know if they needed to stop or adjust the groom so he doesn't get pushed too hard. He had an awful experience with a groomer in the past so he tends to be an anxious guy. His last groom was extra special to me because he let them complete it and looked amazing! He also was the calmest I've seen him ever leave a groomer before. They also groomed my long haired cat! It was my first time trying it and she looks so nice! Her fur is extra soft too and I also loved that they work with cats but much like anxious dogs, told me they wouldn't push a cat's groom if they were too stressed about it. She also was absolutely fine coming home too. Just all around a wonderful place that I'm lucky to have near me! Couldn't recommend them enough and I totally understand why you have to book well in advance to get an appointment. They're a really special find!

Some aren't so great, so you get what you pay for... SALTY PAWS is the best of all the worlds! Their prices are affordable, especially with everything included, AND they also take amazing care of my dogs. Seriously, every time they stay, they're so happy and well cared for when I picked them up. They are always clearly exhausted from playing all the time, and each time we go back, they run to the staff to give them love and head right back to the back. We've since moved from Sneads Ferry closer to Jacksonville, and I wouldn't even consider taking them somewhere else when we vacation. I'd drive an hour if I had to, just so I have piece of mind that they're in good hands while we're gone. p.s. I have a lab and a shiba inu. Everyone loves the lab, but very few people have ever really liked our shiba... except the staff at Salty Paws. Our little "cat dog" has actually made friends there. It's a miracle :)

She was HIGHLY reactive and very difficult to walk -- wanted to bark and pull and even snap at dogs, squirrels, and people alike. In addition, she has mega E. Austin was unbelievably thoughtful with us, incredibly responsive, and adjusted training for her medical needs. He's a professional in every sense of the word, but he also feels like a friend. It's clear that he loves dogs deeply and since we first met him he's offered his time to us to call or text with any questions anytime. We also did private lessons for our 6.5 year old German Shepherd so he wouldn't make Lula (the puppy) revert, and it's been life-changing being able to calm them both down with the commands Austin trained them on. In short, we would recommend Austin time and time and time again, without a moment's hesitation. It's an investment for sure, but it's given us huge peace of mind and brought us so much more calm at home (a huge plus since I work from home, too!). Cannot recommend him highly enough.

The groomer did not cut her snout area and tail even at all. Her face looks raggedy and jagged, making her look more a Schnauzer than either of her breeds. This makes me upset and I will be looking for a new groomer because this is not cool. My experience most other times have been somewhat decent but this one definitely takes the cake for me.
