This place is great. The price point and the service given exceeded my expectations. The staff here is phenomenal. My dog leaves this place happy and tired. My dog doesn't even look back at us when we drop her off here. She enjoys her day here. I appreciate the photos that are posted of my dog's day at day care. I was in the area for a month and needed boarding and daycare during the month. I felt safe leaving my dog here while I was out of town. The boarding service was so great we decided to bring her for daycare. The price and service are exceptional compared to a few overpriced places I've used in major metropolitan areas with me leaving wondering if they even know my dog's name. We also booked grooming here after boarding. They did a great job. We have also used their "refresher" service after a daycare day. I highly recommend. $25 and my pup came so fresh and so clean, clean. read more

I have had family dogs my whole life, but with my first dog as an adult, I had to admit to myself I was not doing a good job training him... after 6 years together. Atlantis helped me with skills to improve leash reactivity and communicate better with my dog. Our sessions raised my confidence, and helped me realize I was improving my relationship with my dog rather than punishing him. I look forward to doing more training with Atlantis. read more

Can't recommend this daycare enough. All of the employees are so kind and they always remember my dog's name! I ask my dog if she wants to go see her friends at daycare and she runs to the door. I love giving my dogs the opportunity to socialize, play in the water, and have a safe, clean place to hang out while I'm running errands or going on a trip. The report cards they give are a really cute and adorable touch. I love being able to see the pictures they take on Facebook also. I took my husky here for the first time because i've seen great reviews on how much they take care of the dogs there. My husky has never been groomed professionally before so i had to do my research. He is a 9 month old medium hair husky that weighs about 46-54 lbs. I paid $75 for the service, i don't remember what was done, but there was a lot done: Bath, blow dry, nail trim, anal glands, ear cleaning, brush, care for footbeds and maybe something else but that's all i can remember. I also called to check on my husky to see how he was doing and they gladly went to ask the groomer for me. Seeing that my husky wasn't scared when he was returned back to me made me know that they took good care of him, and he was given a bandana ! read more

I never leave reviews, let alone mean ones, but the service I received was absolutely awful. My dogs were regulars and they waited 30 minutes after dropping them off to tell me shots were expired... when I have a flight at 6am the next morning. If I would've been notified when I dropped them off I would've been able to take them to the vet quickly to drop them back off but due to the lack of professionalism I wasn't able too. Little miss front desk also had the nerve to catch an attitude when they just ruined my birthday trip. Will be sure to tell everyone to steer clear of this establishment. Bailey loves going to Pawadise. She knows as soon as I turn on to the street where we are going and starts her dance and talking. The staff from the front to the handlers to groomers are wonderful. Always happy, welcoming and most of all treat my dog like she is their dog. Pawadise always has little themed days for the dogs with lots of activities. It is such a positive environment for Bailey, the staff makes sure the dogs get along and make any adjustments if needed. I have boarded Bailey several times and feel very comfortable knowing she is well taken care of. I absolutely love Pawadise. ***They DO require the bordatella shot, though another reviewer said they don't. I've been taking my dog there since 2014 and all vaccinations including the flu shot are required. The staff is so friendly and my dog clearly has a great time there! We made boarding reservations for our two dogs to be in the same "suite" since one is timid and has never been boarded before. Showed up this morning and was told they were getting their kennel ready. Not a problem. We had a wonderful experience with Pawadise 3 years ago so when we came back to NC we were happy to know they were there. After being there to check them in (check in took a few minutes) we were told, right before getting ready to leave, that they didn't have a space for them to be boarded together. This was only for one night, and the reservation was just made yesterday. One lady was telling me that because of renovations that are being done they are short on the large areas. Really? This couldn't have been said yesterday? Then we were told that some of the dogs had to go in larger areas because of their aggression issues they had yesterday. So my big dog would have been put into a smaller area because somebody else's dog had aggression issues??? Rather than telling me this when I called (we actually made a daycare reservation earlier this week and changed it to an overnight yesterday) yesterday, or even calling me this morning they wait. They don't tell me this when I arrive, we were told they were getting the area ready for them. The ONLY positive about this is that we are still in the area so we were able to bring the dogs back home with us. Their future reservations were also cancelled. read more

Both of my cats were with Pawadise for about a month. they let me know any issues they were having, and were always welcome to let me come check in on them. My boys seemed scared at first, but that's normal. after a week or so they seemed comfortable and well adjusted, didn't show me any reason to be worried! Reasonable pricing and I received a discount as well! very convenient. The only thing is, and i understand because they're animals and it happens, is now that they're home, these guys smell very much!! a bath after their stay is definitely needed. read more

Today we rescued a puppy on the day he was scheduled for euthanasia. He was flea-ridden, had two ticks, and had never been bathed. We tried another place I use regularly but they refused our business because we had just gotten him from a pound. My daughter had used Pawadise recently so she called them. They said to bring him straight in. I can't thank them enough for the care they gave him. He is tick and flea-free. I don't what we would have done without their help and advice. read more

Completely wonderful!! Our 90 lbs 1 year old golden had only ever stayed in one place (we are from out of town). We found Pawadise and it couldn't have been better. They are a large clean establishment with a friendly staff. Huck came home with a detailed report card, including a photo, of how he played, socialized and interacted with other doggies. Very friendly staff! Took my Schnauzer mix in for grooming at Pawadise today. Kalicia groomed him. She was careful to ask me exactly what I wanted done. She showed me around the entire grooming area. I found her to be very pleasant and my dog seemed to like her too. They do not use hot air to dry dogs, the air is cool therefore, you don't have to worry about burns. She did a good job on him. I noticed a stain on his tail when we were in the car and a few uneven places but nothing major. Overall, I would use Pawadise again. read more

If you are looking for a great place you can trust to board your dog; this is the place. Their prices are very reasonable at 25$ per dog and they DO NOT charge for play time! They post pictures of your dog playing on their FB page, so while you're traveling you can see how your pup's doing. I'm finicky about what my dogs eat and have sent them in with both dry food and wet food that needed refrigeration and they accommodated me without hesitation. They have both indoor and outdoor play areas, and on hot or rainy days the dogs play inside. This was a major concern for me as my English Bulldogs are very heat sensitive. My dogs always come home clean, injury free and are always excited when I bring them back in. I wouldn't board anywhere else in Jacksonville. read more

Our furkids ABSOLUTELY LOVE it here!!! As soon as we pull into the parking lot, they start going nuts...tails wagging, panting, barking, waiting for the door to open so they can exit the truck and get inside to see the amazing staff!!! They are happy to see us pick them back up, but look back at the staff with "smiles" and wagging tails. This brings me great comfort, peace, and happiness knowing they are eager to go here. I brought my dog there on August 30 for a haircut. I talk to the groomer and she asked me how I wanted my dogs haircut I told her schnauzer cut. I understand schnauzer cuts Usually cost a little bit more because it's a tedious haircut. I said keep the hair on his legs longer and the hair on its tail longer as well. Trim his beard and mustache. When I picked him up I laughed and said he "looked ugly". I was messing around though. When i go home I noticed that she totally buzzed him all over and the only thing that was left long was his tail. I noticed a bunch of the different little spots on his chest, his hair cut was uneven on his chest. I then called them and talked to the manger, told them what happened and asked for a refund she said no refund, but if you bring back we can fix it. I did not want them touching my dog again, because my three-year-old niece can do a better job. I did bring him back so they could see it what my dog looked like.The manager told me that the stylist/groomer was confused on how to cut my dogs hair. In that case the groomer should have called me so we could clarify on the cut that I wanted for my dog. This hair cut cost me 50 dollars. I asked for a refund and the manager said I can't give you a refund, but I can give you $15 back. She said I still had to pay for his bath, so you tell me his bath with $35. This place had terrible customer service. This my first review on yelp ever and i was very unhappy.My dog is my baby and this place was Awful the manager said well I hope you come back again and I will not be back there again ever. read more

Unfortunately I won't be taking my dog there anymore, they do not require any of the dogs to have a bordatella shot and my dog got kennel cough from there along with a couple of my friends dogs getting kennel cough at this location. The staff were great, and I loved that they posted photos and they did great with my dog, but their sanitation is low.. we got a tour upon arrival and the place stunk so bad, it was soooo loud and your dog will only get a little place to sleep. I left there feeling ... bad for my dog. I didn't even wanna go to the wedding anymore. Also the play yard is the worst smell ever...my dog was only a month late on his kennel cough vaccine so I didn't think this would happen. Next time I'm gonna find a place that requires proof of boardatella. read more

This is a great place to board your dog. I have an 85 lbs chocolate lab, he is huge and hyper. The staff at Pawadise take great care of him and you can tell they care. They offer ample room to play with the other dogs for no up charge. They also post daily pics to facebook so you can see your dog playing. The personalized report card at the end of boarding is also great. Can't beat the price or service. Friendly folks who genuinely love animals. Can't recomend them enough. Well where do I begin........I saw all of the reviews on YELP and decided to try this grooming facility. Just moved here from California and was looking for a new groomer for my 3 dogs. The receptionist at the front desk is amazing and I would give her 5 stars but she wasn't the groomer. I tried writing to the staff and voicing my displeasure, but, not even an acknowledgment they received it. $130 for grooming and $30 for a tip, I'm very unhappy! I asked for my Jack Russell to be shaved from the neck down, NOT touching his head, went over it with the groom. She shaved him very patchy, did not touch his legs, feet or tail and cut his Mohawk off his head that we loved! The 2 poodles had to be redone as I asked for poodle feet and face shaved down. I was told you can have fluffy or shaved they didn't know which one I wanted? I specifically told them. My groomer in California had each one of my dogs written on a card, with, directions and blade sizes. Both their faces are still real patchy . Their tails weren't even brushed out. Isn't that pretty common in grooming a poodle, top knot and tails fluffy? Also my 14 year old poodle had such a horrible pant when I got her to the car, I am assuming from dehydration. I realize they don't want to give dogs water, but for a 5 plus hour grooming appt., I would think the humane thing to do is give them a sip. Again, I wrote to them and didn't get even a glimmer that they cared about customer satisfaction. I'm mad I tipped the 2 gals before I saw the finished product. I would have been happier had they acknowledged me and offered to make it right. Nothing. Live and learn. read more

I went for the first time today. They gave her a bath, cut her nails, plucked her ears, brushed her teeth, expressed her anal glands and groomed her in 1.5hrs for $35. My dog is only 4.5lbs, but she needed a lot done for $35. I was impressed at how long it took, with that being said though she has definitely been groomed way better in her life. Some parts of her body and legs were uneven where she didn't even need some knots cut out. All in all, for what I paid I am definitely not complaining though. I absolutely love pawadise! Everyone is friendly and helpful, and they always remember my dogs! I love that I get to see pictures of my dogs while I'm away, and if there is any concern the staff calls us to get our input. But the real way of knowing this place is great is that my dogs get so excited when we pull up. As soon as they're in the door they bolt to greet the workers and go play. I got my puppy in June and have yet to spend a night away from him. My boyfriend and I had to go away overnight and could not bring Cooper with us. We took him to pawadise and he absolutely loved it. We were nervous since this is the first time we left him anywhere and it turned out great. Cooper stayed overnight and had the full grooming process while he was there. We loved that we got to see pictures of him on Facebook. When we dropped him off we got a tour of the facilities and felt completely comfortable leaving him there. He was very happy the next day when we picked him up and he looked and smelled great! I feel so comfortable knowing that we have a safe place to drop our favorite puppy off we need to! read more

Use to take my dogs there for the groomers. Last time I took my husky to get washed and a trim he came back acting weird and every time I wet to pet him on his back he would cry and snap at me. He was usually playfull at all times but not after he went there. I laid him down the next day to inspect and found numerous sores and scabs where it seemed they brushed him way too hard. They do a horrible job on triming too. My other dog comes back looking like she fell into a lawnmower! Wash your own dogs! Definitely not worth the money of 110 for shitty cuts and miss use of a damn brush! read more

I love this place! They have done an amazing job grooming our dog Jaxson, and at last min when I had to use doggie day camp they had open availability, and it was very easy for me to send them my dogs updated records from our vet. They have worked with me a few times on having to reschedule groom dates and I just love how friendly the staff is. Our dog enjoys going to them. My dog has a hard time getting his nail clipped and from what I'm told they have no issues being able to get his nails. He also comes home smelling like blueberry's lol. We absolutely LOVE this place and everyone there! My dog has been going for daycare and the occasional overnight stay since she was a pup. She is ecstatic to see everyone when we arrive for daycare which is saying a lot since she's usually a timid girl. They treat us ,and most importantly her, like family. The prices are very reasonable, and boarding includes playtime unlike some other places. I've recommended this place to everyone I meet with a dog. We will soon be relocating, and Pawadise is among the things/places we'll miss the absolute most. I'm positive we'll not find another daycare like this one. On a side note, they do a lot to help homeless animals and the local shelter. They are kind, good hearted people that will take wonderful care of your furry kids. read more
