Folks, this is real talk! About a week ago, I gave Jason and his son Connor the challenge of a lifetime: a 2012 Toyota Venza AWD, all black with a typical factory gloss finish. All in all, it was still very nice. The Backstory. It had a few scratches that really brought down its curb appeal. Seeing a mobile dent and scratch repair service drive along, I stopped and engaged him in a conversation. We came to an agreement on a price, and they assured me that scratches would be easy to fix. This is when the story starts to go bad; after stopping off at an auto store for a couple of rattle-can spray paint, he follows me home to do the work. Now mind you were talking small areas-scratches. I decide to leave him alone to complete the work. Lesson number two; don't do that, for if I saw how bad it was going to be stopped immediately. I also remember these fateful words, "Your mind is black, right? This is a black car, okay, right." Lesson number three: when someone says something like that, and in your mind, you say, "Oh, HELL NO!" Follow it! The end result . . . the end result was me having enough self-control not catching a case by throwing him in the back of that car and taking him for a long country drive--empty cans and all. He painted the sides of the upper portion of the car body with this almost dust-flat black with a gloss on top of it. Plus, the lower side rear panels. And he pretty much ran out of paint on the hood of the car, which looks like a hand-sprayed job. Say it with me: DA-DA-DAMN!!! In short, the aftermath of the outcome was a challenge. The Middle Story. After I had recovered from the shock, I attempted power washing the car several times. Hardly anything came off. It looks so bad in the sunlight after being washed that you either cry or throw up in your mouth a little each time you see it. It looked better dirty than clean. So, owning the decision, I went on to seek quotes for paint jobs from custom paint and body shops. All were between $6000 and $12000 on average. Fortunately, my guy's paint shop out of Broadway and Evans in Denver, right behind LA Insurance, told me to try Extreme Detailing and Reconditioning. The End Story. Jason and his son Connor immediately looked over the car and considered it. They said they would need about three days, but they would call to confirm upon further investigation. So, I dropped it out on Monday as planned. Late Tuesday, Jason called me to inform me that clay barring and hand sanding efforts were not going to work and that skillful strategic methods of power tools were in use. Even though the work effort was much more than first believed, Jason, with honesty and integrity, chose to honor the original price (less than $1200) but only asked for some additional time. Understanding the situation and agreeing, I called him back on Friday to hear that my Toyota Venza was looking great. Scratches, bad paint, and all were replaced with factory-finished gloss and shine. It was cleaner and had more shine than the day I purchased the vehicle. Great job, Jason and Connor. Wow! Set an appointment for ten am. He said it would take from ten to noon. I told him I would need to wait on the car and do some work on my laptop while waiting. I get there at ten and some guy just wants to take my keys without much conversation. I explained I needed to see the levels of the tint so he shows me some window on the office and then his personal car. But his car isn't accurate because of some other preexisting tint. Barely gave me an idea of what it would look like. But, I booked the appointment and I'm there already. I have another option that is less expensive elsewhere, but these guys were available earlier. The window tint installer hasn't shown up yet. I'm told he's at Phil Long finishing a job. I would rather sit and wait there than their tiny dirty office space. So I politely offer to drive to Phil Long and meet his installer there. An hour after I got there, after them moving my car twice, I was able to find another place for less money that's also available today. He tells me they are now at the shop and ready to do the work. I told him cool, if you want to discount to match the other guys, I'll still do it. I'm then told that my inpatients is not grounds for a discount. And that I need to get over it. Also, I tell him what I do for a living and he decides to tell me about someone he doesn't know is my client. He tells me how the guy had an open bottle of Jack Daniels in the cup holder and how his car stunk of alcohol. He's sharing this about a person they did work for, someone well known in Colorado. Not only are they not timely, clean, or professional; but, they talk about their high end clients behind their backs. Sad thing is, I was referred to them. I called the person who told me to go there, a car dealer, and told him what happened. Guess it's the last referral they get from that guy. read more

I love this business. I have been using Extreme for 10 years and have never had an issue that was not quickly resolved by the owner to the best of his ability. I have referred many friends and family to them with all of them speaking very highly of him as well. I will continue bringing all of my vehicles for everything that I need. I'm quite shocked by all the negative feedback that I have seen on here, I have never been treated with anything other than respect. Jason is very skilled with his ability to apply clear bras to vehicles, he recently did my new black F150 and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I had a small spot that worried me initially but within a couple days it had dried up and it looked perfect. It even protected the area the hail storm hit! I took my truck to them to ask about repairing the hail damage and they had no issue setting me up and now it looks so great! Thank you Jason and the whole extreme team. read more

I can only echo what the other reviewers have to say. They took a day longer than they told me, charged me more than they quoted me with no advance notice or explanation, and put 100 miles on my car. Also, the detail they did on my car was supposed to winterize it and last 1 year. When I washed my car, the wax streaked all over and look horrible, and only lasted about 3 months. I would highly recommend that you stay away from this company if you want a clear bra on your vehicle. The owner new from the beginning when he was called by the dealership where I bought my new SUV that I was very picky, detail oriented, and expected perfection. But the owner SO BADLY wanted to get his foot in the door of the dealership for clear bras that he said he would put the full clear bra on my SUV. When I picked it up I saw some "stuff" in the bra that I thought would slowly come out after 3-5 days being in the sun/warm weather. He then put a clear bra on my mother's new truck a week after my SUV and it looked like like something a 1st grader did during art class. The owner told me the day I picked up my SUV that if the bubbles and other marks didn't come out, just give him a call and he would replace it. So I called him and told him the entire clear bra needed to be replaced on my SUV and set up a time to come to my house and replace it. When he came to my house, he told my wife that he only planned for 30 minutes and that I told him just the hood needed to be done and when my wife showed him the other flaws in it, he said that "she" must have rubbed up against something insinuating that she may have hit something and that the flaws are from the the material stretching and "they all do that" and you can't fix that. He further told my wife that he almost didn't even do the SUV because of what he was told by the dealership about me that I was very picky, etc. (which I told the dealership to tell him about me up front) and that if I looked at it long enough, I would eventually find flaws in it and nothing in life is perfect and he would only replace it one time and one time only. He called and left me a voicemail saying that he only planned on 30 minutes and that I didn't tell him the entire bra needed to be replaced and to call him back so we could work something out and to probably bring the SUV to his shop. I called him back and left a voicemail telling him that I don't know where the misunderstanding was, but I know that I told him the entire bra needed to be replaced and to call me back to get this issue resolved. I have yet to hear back from the owner. I called the dealership and told them about poor of a job he did on my SUV and my mother's truck, and they apologized to me and told me that they wouldn't ever be using Extreme Auto Detail Center ever again and have scheduled to get both clear bra's replaced on my SUV and my mother's truck. Please beware of this horrible company if you want a clear bra on your vehicle. read more

My experience with Extreme Auto was great. Jason the owner assisted with helping me get a rental car when there was so many people searching for cars due to hail damage. My 2010 Jeep Wrangler looks brand new!!!!! Friends of mine went over the Jeep went I got it back and all commented on the great work that Extreme Auto did. I thought that Jason did a fantastic job on my black Nissan Xterra. It had more scratches on it than I wanted and he was realistic about what he could actually fix, which I liked. He helped manage my expectations and charged me a fair price for the excellent work that he did. I previously had a terrible experience at Car Toys when I paid them hundreds of dollars for pain restoration. The car looked the same if not slightly worse when I got it back. Jason came highly recommended and really impressed me. I made it clear that I needed this vehicle back by a specific time and day and he finished with time to spare. I went to Extreme Auto Detailing to have some 3M clear bra applied to my SUV's headlights on a recommendation from my mechanic, who knows Jason, the owner. The headlights on our particular model are susceptible to fogging/yellowing in the strong Denver sunlight, and mine were already showing signs of discoloration. Applying clear bra to the headlight lenses can stave off the fogging/discoloration. It was a good experience - Jason was up front about the fact that the tops of the headlights needed sanding (in addition to the polishing included in the clear bra application package) to bring them back to their like-new luster before the protective clear bra was applied. I opted to add the sanding option as part of the prep work. I'm an automotive engineer, so I'm pretty picky about the work done on my vehicles. Jason was very accommodating and involved me throughout the process. He uses quality 3M clear bra film (8 mm thick) and a robust application process. Misrepresented his ability. Did a terrible job on my car, refused to make it right, by stringing me along for over three months. Charged me more than was quoted. Yelled at me for calling him before 9 am. Apparently he forwarded his business number to his home and I woke his family, infuriating him. He is ill-tempered, lacks the ability to do what he says he will do and this business is just a part-time venture for him. The result of what I received from his work is something that should not have happened. Offering him the opportunity to make it right has been impossible. You should know this guy, Jason Reed, is someone to stay away from, if you value your automobile. read more
