They damaged my defogger lines on my rear window and pocket windows. I took my car to get tinted I chose too dark my fault. I kept getting pulled over went back paid to have it removed and they damaged my defogger lines. I didn't notice right away until the winter months and noticed my rear window would not defog all the way and my pocket windows stayed fogged up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They could have let me know so I could go get it fixed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's dangerous to drive with Foggy windows. I read past reviews and They have done this to other customers. Making an appointment was easy through their website and I got several emails and text reminders in the 2 days until my appointment. I booked a 10AM slot and arrived right at 10AM. Upon entry I hear a "hello" and see only an empty chair behind the desk, after looking around to see if God is speaking to me I find a tablet facing my direction and a guy on the screen... He goes over everything and as I make my selection of 30% XR Plus (most expensive) on the back and sides and 55% XR on the windshield I'm informed that it would turn out very light and he recommended something darker, a young man even popped in and echoed the suggestion but I remained on my decision. Looking at the examples on the wall the percentage varies wildly on the quality of the film so I recommend taking your time, I was even considering going lighter. My total was a little over $1k... the XR plus was $700 for the back window and 6 side windows for a small C class and windshield added another $300. A young lady came in and dropped off her Audi just as I finished and paid and I watched her make her choices... the guy offered us an Uber voucher which in hindsight I should have taken, the young lady did though. The waiting room/office got really hot, there was just a little fan blowing air from inside the warehouse in to the office and another little fan on the floor.. Next time, TAKE THE UBER VOUCHER. The young ladies Audi finished before mine, I heard her say it looks darker than she expected but seemed happy with it... One of the young guys told me my car was being difficult, Mercedes uses a lot of felt seals around the glass and it kept touching the part of the film that adheres to the glass leaving contamination. In total it took about 3.5 hours, and I did hear the film being ripped off the car a couple times so I don't doubt they wasted a lot of film in pursuit of perfection... and it shows. When I got in to the car to leave I saw a lot of water bubbles in the windshield, but after it sat outside in 97° heat for an hour at home it all vanished like magic. They did leave the car a bit messy, there's a lot of leftover soapy water that they use during installation on and in the car, particularly on the back window which means after sitting for a day I have to clean. But overall the work looks really well done and it came out much darker than I expected it to, I have 35% 3M IR on a Jetta GLI in the same color combination (white, black panorama roof and black interior) and this 30% looks about 20% in comparison, windshield came out as dark/light as I wanted. Looks good but hopefully it lightens up a little over time. read more

So I would say the 3 stars are for the quality of the tint I bought. I went and got my whole vehicle tinted and their pricing models are confusing and it seemed like it was raised a lot more than I was expected for the middle tier of tint. I got the car back from having it completed and it looked great and had no complaints. After letting it sit a cure for the time they recommended I noticed in my driver and passenger window there was dust/ dirt in the film along the top edge of the windows. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I contacted them which was back and forth to get in touch and I asked them to replace it and when I asked them to do so the tinter said that it is normal to have that amount of dirt/ dust in the film.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It really threw me off. Because I expected with what I paid to be pretty much perfect with very very minor imperfections in the film and after going back and forth the tinter said " I'll replace them to make you happy". [[HIGHLIGHT]]The customer service just didn't seem like they cared very much about the quality and probably did not clean the top of the windows very well before installing which is why I'm still seeing the dust and dirt in the film after it was even replaced.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Needless to say I more than likely will be not coming back in the future for any addition of my vehicles. I had received five different bids to have my 2014 Audi S8 windows tinted and Superior was the highest bid at $299 by at least $80 higher than the next lowest bid. I was told I would be getting the best quality tint with a lifetime warranty. I hesitantly went with Superior because of the quality of tint I would be getting would be better than their competitors. When I arrived to my appointment I was told the quote I was given was for their lowest quality of tint, which had no heat protection to it at all. I specifically requested this as to my car is black and it absorbed heat like crazy. I was then told that if I wanted their best quality tint it would cost me $899. This is the biggest bait and switch scam that I have ever encountered. Do not use Superior Window Tint, because they are anything but Superior!!! read more

Had my Tesla Model 3 Tinted. All 4 doors, Roof and Rear Glass. Initially when receiving the car it was a mess. The windows were smeared with the liquid they used. I also had a spot on my headliner that had clearly liquid leftover. I talked to the owner and he made it right. Fixed it and even replaced one of the rear windows on the door. UPDATE - 7/18/19: I was contacted by one of the owners after posting my review and was very impressed by his concern and understanding. He assured me that all my concerns have been corrected or are in the process of being corrected. He also promised to make up for the damaged rear window defrost lines. He fulfilled this promise by paying for the replacement of the rear window. I am very pleased with my interactions with the owner and have added a star to my review. I truly wish my entire experience was as pleasant as this. Unfortunately, I'm still just at square one and had to deal with these issues over the past month. I hope that they do indeed learn from this experience and improve overall as a business. ------------------------------------------------- I'm very disappointed in the work done by this shop as well as the overall lack of professionalism. To begin, I was referred to superior window tint by a local dealer for tinting my brand new '19 GTI. At first it seemed smooth; I made an appointment online, dropped of my car, and came back 3 hours later to a tinted car. When I looked over the car, the work seemed pretty good except for 2 small windows in front of the driver door. They had tint but were totally bubbled because they said they couldn't get their hands in the tight space. I googled the issue and right off the bat found videos showing how to do these properly. They told me the bubbles would clear up after the moisture evaporated and to give it a couple days. A week later, the small windows were still completely bubbled, the edges of the rear window were all peeling up, and all other windows had bubbles around the top edges. I scheduled another appointment and returned to the shop and explained the issues. They reluctantly took the car in and I returned in 3 hours to a completely re-tinted car. Unfortunately the small front windows still looked terrible, but instead of bubbles there were squeegee streaks all over them. I was again assured the streaks would clear up when the moisture evaporated so I went on my way. Another week goes by and all windows have tiny dust particle bubbles all over them. And of course the tiny windows still look terrible. I was pretty frustrated at this point because I had paid over $400 for the tint work and I've never had any of these issues before. I made an appointment and went back in. I was meet with a serious attitude from what I assume to be the owner. I showed him the problem areas and told him I wanted them to remove the tint and issue a refund since I couldn't trust them to do it properly. They took the car in and I waited for them to remove the tint. As I was waiting, the owner didn't say a single word to me and I only know I received a refund because I got an email receipt while he was sitting at the desk. Not one word from him. When they were done removing the tint the guy pulled it out, handed me the keys, and the owner was nowhere to be seen so I left. After getting home I realized they also did a terrible job removing the tint (probably because they were frustrated and I wasn't paying to have it removed so they had no incentive to do a good job). There was still adhesive all around the edges of all the windows, they left gobs of adhesive all over the inside trim off my car, they left a razor blade in my trunk, they scratched up my window trim, and they damaged my defogger lines on my back window in about 20 places with the razor blade. Overall the manager was very unprofessional, the workers seemed to not be trained properly, and I'm much worse of than when I started thanks to wasted Saturdays, wasted gas, and the damage they did to my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Go literally anywhere else. read more

I had high hopes of this place installing tints on our Model Y in the beginning, but after I got the car back, I would NOT recommend this place. I paid $275 including tips for the front two windows. The quality of work is poor. There were some issues like minor scratches, bubbles and visible defect on the tint which I had them redo second time around. In my opinion, if they would've taken a little bit more time and care with their work, there wouldn't be any issues. I guess quality is not one their priority but rather quantity. They don't even wipe down the spots on the outside of the car from the solution that they used. Definitely would not be coming back for tints in the future!! Very disappointed!! read more

The EXACT same service costs $950 including tax at LuxTint, Livermore. This also includes ticket protection. They charged me $550 above the market price! Customer service is all virtual. Also no human interaction type customer support is also utterly unsatisfactory. While delivering they should at least consider talking to customers to address concerns. They are just ripping off customers. There are many good options around, so avoid this even if they claim they provide great quality service, which is nothing but publicity stunt! We originally gave this company a good review, they are responsive when trying to earn your business and were eager to fix peeling tint. However, during the repair we brought a clean car in only to have chemical streaks down the side of the car. I get that the solution runs when you apply it, but a company should wipe that off when the job is complete. Disappointed at the sloppy customer care of this company. You worked so hard to get out business, and to not follow through.... COVID precautions were still being adhered to. I was greeted by a gentleman on an echo Show and slid into an open appointment slot. My choices of film were explained with visual and reproduction aids. I went to pay after being influenced to take the mid film choice. (I was leaning to the expensive). I had left my wallet at home- 7 minutes away. Ran back and paid for service, which was reasonable. I sat with a lovely lady in the waiting room, helped myself to a refrigerator full of water, talked to the gentleman disinfecting the touch pads and 3 1/2 hours later, my car looked absolutely beautiful. I found this window tinting place in Tracy because i try to keep my business where i live. So i take my Nissan Maxima Platinum in to get all the windows tinted. The owner was nice to me about explaining different types of tint. So i decide on a tint and leave the car to get it done. I come back 4 hrs later and the back window has an awful cutout for the 3rd brake light. I told the owner i am not happy with that terrible cutout. I have never seen anybody do a cutout for rear window brake light. I told him i am not happy with it so he told me to bad that's how we do it. So then he told me that i have to pay an additional $50 to have him put a new piece on. Let alone i already paid $215 for the tint job. So i had to pay the extra $50 dollars to be happy. Just make sure if you use this company to ask a lot of questions because i believe there not trust worthy people. And when i came to pick up my car there were water stains all over the rear head liner. He acted like nothing ok i will wipe it off. That's not the point. That's a $40,000 dollar car and your not being careful. I need 2 other cars to be tinted and i am going to find a trust worthy place in Tracy for those jobs. FYI- Funny that you say it's illegal about the third brake light being covered. You had no problem putting tint on driver and passenger windows when you know it's illegal. The only thing I asked you was that next time you should warn the customer about this horrible hole in the back window. But you were stubborn and said no I will not ask my customers. They were very professional and it is very excellent work. They also put a sticker on my power window buttons so I wouldn't accidentally roll the windows down and they left their card and a treat in the cup holder. Just got my car 25000 miles new and was so excited to have a the windows tinted. I got it done here and went home. When i showed it to my wife she notice a small cut in my leather passenger seat. I called and told them . I was provided with a snap shot were the cut can be seen. To make my point, first I asked for a video first where i could see what happened because he did mentioned that there are cameras. This person told me that he has to charge me $$ money$$ to show me a video footage. He also said that "his people should be tinting and not showing video. ". Furthermore he also told me that a lot of customers want to make money by claiming damages done to their cars. Last he told me a circumstance that could have caused the damage. It was a small cut 1/4 of an inch long, $150 repair job. I did not want to do the blaming game because it was supposed to be a two hours tint job. I thought it was not handled right at all. On top of that he had the audacity to ask me to return the tools they forgot in my car. So now returning to the tint warranty. So now I'm thinking that if this tint ever had or developed any bubbles, should I even go back to claim my warranty? Are they just going to tell me again that i have caused this damaged? I do not recommend this company. I have bubbles in my tint so far not too bad but i have them then what? BTW: since they brought it... Oh to show the high definition pic they showed me which you cannot tell if before or after the fact. If you look at this pic someone is already working at the back seat. This process was EASY and smooth start to finish. Quick responses from them. Made appointment online, showed up a bit early and went over exactly what we wanted. The guest entry area and shop is VERY clean, organized and staff was very professional. Nasser greeted us then came out to see our tint on our 2nd vehicle to make sure they did the car we brought the same way. Met a second guy who also came out to see. The price was good (better than other places we called to get quotes from). In person they showed us a sample on our car and let us know about the tint options WITHOUT any hassle to spend more/upgrade, even agreeing with us for our needs on this car that the least expensive option would be just perfect. They just wanted to be sure we knew and got to make the right choice. They did the job timely and explained how to care for the windows while curing. They look great all the way around. Small bubbles are normal and should go away. We love the lifetime warranty they offer! Why not keep things local and give these guys a try!
