Found a lot of issues with my car afterwards, missing parts that I had bought in with my car. Damages to my car and denied it even with proof. Said they would replace missing parts but never did. Had so much issues with communication, kept denying they didn't get my calls or spoke to me when they did. Car took longer than they had estimated. just don't risk it here, go somewhere else. I bought my jeep about 7 years ago. It was stock. Dave and his team have been great to work with over the years. My jeep has been rebuilt with their help to crawl rocks with lots of personality. The latest visit to the shop was to fix the damage done by a careless Amazon delivery driver. My jeep looks and drives great and is back to her usual jeep self!!! read more

First, I read all the Yelp reviews before contacting EoR&R and yeah, there's some people that expressed some bad times in those reviews. But I read all the good ones as well. I just bought a '14 JK sport 2dr will low miles and bone stock. I decided to find a real mechanic that works on off road vehicles and jeeps specifically. Man, I must have spent more than an hour just talking shop with Steve who is a cool guy to chat with. They did a big inspection on my new purchase and I got a detailed report both verbally and a printout of what I should be paying attention to. Nothing pressing which was great news. I had questions on my future build plans and tips on what I can do on my own and what to consider or not. So I guess I cannot comment on their fixing or installation practices but it's hard for me to think it would be anything different from the great service I got today. Will be going back. read more

I've taken my f350 for about 13 years now. Dave has always been helpful and honest. Last week I had a steering box and pump replaced, cost me a little more than the alignment shop quoted but I figured I have history here and I trust them. They replaced the belt as well because it was bad.The following week my belt sheared and they couldn't get me in until Friday. Shelby called and said it was nothing they did but a tensioner pulley was bad. Quoted me 617.00. I couldn't afford this so I declined and picked the truck up after hours. Now not only is my belt shearing I have a major coolant leak that wasn't there before. Like I said Dave has always been great to deal with but this entire experience has been very negative and has been a lesson learned in my wallet. This is my latest experience with them so use your own judgment. Update: they bolts that hold my radiator Shroud were not installed and missing, the clips to hold down cover are missing and cover torn. UPDATE: they tore my radiator hose causing the coolant leak, broke to fan Shroud bolts that hold it to the block. I replaced the old belt they said they replaced and the power steering pump ( that they installed) was loose thus causing the issue. Now I have a few broken parts and missing parts the dont effect the drive but cosmetically looks terrible. I dont know who did the work but it was not done correctly or with care to my truck. read more

I had Dave and his crew change out the XREAS shocks on my gen5 4Runner. Dave set me up with an appointment,(about 2 weeks out), and did a great job on my 4Runner. I chose to keep the same height but did level the front up an inch. Shame on you Toyota for designing an awful unserviceable shock system! Thank you Dave and crew for a reasonable solution. I've been an off-road enthusiast for years. Having a reliable off-road vehicle is a must. Since I use one of my vehicles as a daily driver, it is even more essential to keep up on the maintenance. After a long trip my Jeep developed an annoying noise and I was losing power. Figured it had to be a drive-train issue. Sure enough, after having my Jeep towed to Extreme Off-Road out of fear of further damage, it took them about 2 minutes to figure out the problem. Sure enough, a bad CV joint, but it didn't end there. Their staff did a thorough once over and found a cracked radiator. The cracked was so miniscule only a trained individual would have found it. And if a radiator gets bad enough, well you know the outcome. A possible cracked engine block. I was thankful they went the extra mile to do a complete check. They potentially saved me thousands. While waiting, I noticed the extent of work. From basic upgrades to frame work, and spring over axle jobs. Finding this gem of a place was a God send. read more

I came into the shop a few weeks ago looking to add some performance parts to my truck. Beforehand I had spoken to Dave multiple times about what I was looking for. He answered all of my questions and did a very good job at explaining how to proceed and put everything into laymans terms. They also did some minor work when I was having clearance issues. The were very knowledgeable with Jeep's and other off road vehicles. They now work on side by sides.

I first called them about putting in my front CV axles. The quoted me $498.00 both sides I thought this was a great deal so I scheduled an 8 am appointment for the following day. I drop off my truck and ask how long as was told 4.5 hours. So i leave and 5 hours later I still haven't heard from them so i call them and was told by the owners daughter that the tech is at lunch and she would call me once he returns. An hour and a half later still no call. I call back and and the owner tells me yeah we didn't pull your truck in till late so it wont be done till tomorrow. Realizing there is nothing i can do call them back the following day at noon to see when i can pick up my truck. I am told it will be ready at 4 pm so I get a ride there and my truck is not done. Owner states it wont be done till 5:30 is so i decide to settle the bill and get hit with a 630.00 dollar charge, I ask what happened to the quote of $498 and the owner states it took longer that they thought. So know i am being charged for them taking their time in getting it done. Knowing I have no choice i pay but the fun doesn't end there. My truck is not done at 5:30 it doesn't get done for another hour. Upon completion i am told my torsion bars are turned up to high. I say OK and go home and watch a YouTube video and lower the torsion bars 2 inches then i take my truck to go get an alignment and the shop tells my my New CV axle that i just put in last week is ripped. So i call the Extreme Off road to see if they will Warranty their work. I get the daughter again and she says she will call me back either later that night or next Monday. That Monday she calls and we set up that I am going to drop it off at 8 am on wed for them to look at. Wednesday when i get there, The owner doesn't know I am even coming in. And tells me that their tech called out so I plan that i probably wont get my car back till Thursday. Why they couldn't have let me know so i could reschedule is beyond me. So Thursday I show up at 1 pm to pick up my truck. The owner then tells me that they replaced the boot but it would not be warranted because the problem was caused by my torsion bars being turned up all the way. I assured him this could not be the case because they had been lowered 2 inches taking the truck back to stock height. He states oh well its also cause you have a shock lift on the truck. I let him know that according to his mechanic my shocks are aftermarket replacements but stock height. I then am presented with a $250.00 dollar bill for work that NO One Confirmed with me that is both Unprofessional and Illegal to do work on my vehicle with out the go ahead from the own. If i knew they would not Warranty their work I would had their competitor fix the CV Boot and paid them to do it. I get the keys and go out to my truck and the CV Boot isn't on. I immediately go back in and let the owner know. He makes no attempt to issue a refund or discount for next time. Go here at your own risk. They do not care about customers or integrity. read more

I've been to extreme off road a dozen times or more. Marc and I built four different rock crawlers with Dave. The work; the craftsmanship has always been excellent. Dave has never refused to explain something in layman terms or do/redo any type of repair that he felt wasn't done correctly the first time. When your 200 miles from civilization; crawling up and down rocks the size of small houses the build is a matter of life and death. People who understand real rock crawling and mud bogging have tons of respect for Dave and crew at extreme. These men are the real deal job; seriously. The place is a little messy and greasy because men here work and build shit that you can take anywhere and come back safely. And dammit I've done it with Marc a dozen times. The worst shop I have ever been too. Completely horrendous customer service .... I was calling around to see how much it would cost to install a leveling kit on my truck using my parts. I was quoted 190 on the phone so I went ahead and booked an appointment... on my appointment day I went in and was filling out paperwork, they were insisting that I put my address and I told them that I don't want to and he insisted that's it's California law and it's required.. lol that was a complete lie and I told him I'm not putting my address ... he proceed to fill out the paper work and the wrote down 300 ... I told him that I was quoted for 190 and he literally threw my leveling kit and keys at me . Had my CV axel changed. Leaked after first repair, was told the seal where the axel met the engine needed to be changed. I hadn't asked for it so he wanted to charged me full price to pull the axel to get to the seal. I completely felt that he would tell me to get lost if I didn't pay so we worked out a deal that he would charge me half the price to pull the axel. The seal was changed and the truck still leaked oil. I had to take the truck back a third time and it was found the axel was bad. He changed it out but would not refund my money when I told him it was never the seal and a bad axel. I now have a bad vibration coming from the same axel he worked on and will not take it to Dave again. read more
