I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience so others can make an informed decision. We brought my daughter's 2014 Ford Focus to this shop because it would not start. After their inspection, we were given an estimate and authorized the repairs they said were necessary. During the process, we were then informed that the clutch also needed to be repaired, which significantly increased the cost. Although this wasn't part of the original estimate, we agreed because we wanted the vehicle repaired correctly and trusted their professional diagnosis. By the time everything they recommended was completed, we had spent approximately $3,700. Unfortunately, after all of those repairs, the vehicle still was not operating properly. We then had the car towed back to the shop because the original problem had not truly been resolved. At that point, we were told the issue was actually the fuel pump. This was incredibly frustrating because after spending thousands of dollars based on their recommendations, another major repair was suddenly needed. It left us questioning whether a thorough diagnostic had been performed in the first place. As a customer, I understand that older vehicles can develop multiple problems. However, when a shop performs a diagnostic and recommends thousands of dollars in repairs, I expect those recommendations to be based on a complete and accurate assessment. Instead, it felt like we addressed one expensive issue after another without ever getting to the root cause. I reached out to the owner in writing, hoping we could have a productive conversation and work toward a reasonable resolution. While I appreciate that they did respond, I was extremely disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of the financial burden this created and no offer of any reimbursement, credit, or goodwill adjustment after we had invested so much money and still ended up with a vehicle that was not repaired. Ultimately, we made the difficult decision not to move forward with the additional fuel pump repair because we had already invested more into the vehicle than it was worth. I encourage anyone considering this shop to ask detailed questions about the diagnostic process, request in detailed writing all testing that has been done. read more

As a college student working a part-time retail job, buying my first car and keeping it running has been one of the biggest financial responsibilities I've ever had. I saved for a long time to be able to afford the repairs this shop recommended because I genuinely believed they had identified the problem and would get my car back on the road. After their inspection, I was given an estimate and trusted their professional opinion. During the repair process, I was told my clutch also needed to be replaced, which increased the cost significantly. Even though it was much more than I had expected, I agreed because I wanted my car fixed properly and relied on their expertise. In total, I spent around $4,000 (all of my savings) After all of those repairs, my car still wasn't fixed. We had to have it towed back to the shop, where we were then told that the fuel pump also needed to be replaced. another $800. After spending everything I had based on the original diagnosis, I was being told there was yet another major repair needed before I could even drive my car. My mom contacted the owner to explain our concerns and hoped we could come to a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, there was no offer to reimburse any portion of the repairs or even a goodwill adjustment, despite the fact that we had spent thousands of dollars and still ended up with a vehicle that wasn't running. This experience was incredibly discouraging. Losing all of my savings as a student is something that will take me a long time to recover from. I just wish the diagnostic process had been more thorough so I could have made an informed decision before investing so much money into a car that ultimately remained undrivable. I hope sharing my experience encourages others to ask detailed questions about the diagnostic process, request documentation of the testing that has been performed, and fully understand the potential risks before approving expensive repairs. read more

Took my car in to get checked out, they have a diagnostic fee but if you decide to fix your car with them it rolls right into that instead. Overall they were understanding and helped me out when I needed it though, good people. read more

Be warned about this shop. Very friendly until things started happening to your vehicle that weren't an issue when you initially took it in. Vehicle broke down less than 24 hrs after spending a LOT of $ with them (and we took it in when we saw there was an issue) but they said it was fine. Not fine, it broke down 20 minutes later. They supposedly "tried" to figure out what was wrong with the vehicle but just couldn't... When we picked our vehicle up (via tow truck) they had parked our vehicle across the street as though they were wiping their hands of any responsibility (I have pictures to prove car was across the street!). If they are an auto repair shop, why couldn't they figure out what was wrong with it? Very suspicious and we do not recommend them. Next mechanic figured it out and our vehicle is running without an issue! read more

They were not only friendly, but Immediately I felt trust and knew I could rely on them. Wow, where to start. I've never felt the need to review a business in my life until now, that's how poor this experience was. Blows my mind that there's nothing but 5 star reviews, I guess I was clearly a customer of low importance. I suppose I'll start with the fact that they quoted me about 3 different estimates, and 4 different ETA's as to when my car would be completed over a TWO WEEK span. Two weeks for four hours of labor. In those two weeks I only received two phone calls as to the status and estimated completion time on my car. I had to call them myself multiple times to get any information whatsoever, and every time, "Oh it'll be ready tomorrow", and it never was. I walk into the office today to pick up my car and begin to tell him why I'm unhappy and I was literally met with, "I don't care, we're not gonna talk about this" from Steve himself. For someone who had previously been so friendly in the beginning, I was bewildered. I have never seen an owner so indifferent and nonchalant towards a customer's satisfaction; must have a cozy clientele. Lackadaisical and wildly unprofessional through and through, do not bring your car here if you want it back within any reasonable amount of time. read more

My Husband was having some issues with his older GMC pick up. He thought he was going to need a whole new transmission. After reading the online reviews on several local businesses I recommended he give All Valley Automotive a call of course being the stubborn man I know it took two months before he actually called. My daughter's car had what seemed to be a transmission issue. Our usual mechanic doesn't work on transmissions so we took the car here and was told we'd likely need a new transmission for 2600$. We were not able to afford that so he stated for 800 he could replace the solenoid and fluid to at least temporarily deal with the issue but still would need new transmission down the road. Went forward with that repair (which didn't fix the issue). we called back to complain and were told that we should have spent the money on the new transmission. When we asked if we could at least put cost from original work towards new transmission he said told no. Took the vehicle to another shop and were told 1st: we were over charged for solenoid and 2nd: that the issue was an electrical NOT a transmission issue, and if we had spent the money like the other guy wanted, it still wouldn't have fixed the issue! DON"T GO HERE! If we can save you from getting scammed at least that's something. read more

Great auto shop!!! Called the day of to get a smog and an oil change...they didn't have the oil that I required on my vehicle, but ordered it and by the time I got there they had me in and out in about half an hour. The workers were friendly and professional...needless to say I was impressed and will never get a smog anywhere else!! read more
