Most of the store has undergone updates in the past few years where a lot of the conditional defects were addressed. The store is bright, open and well laid out for a large location. They have the standard specialty counters including pharmacy, bakery, meats, seafood, etc...Unlike majority of Kroger locations around the area, there is no branded coffee shop or other outlet. Exterior, they have freshened up the facade, but the majority of the exterior, including the parking lot and vestibule are still in rough and worn shape. The store was clean of debris and trash, however there were several u-boats of stock and boxes left around the store that were not actively being stocked. It created a slight inconvenience in some aisles, especially when multiple folks were present. Service was friendly and quick at the registers. Between the cashier and bag attendant, they were chatty and welcoming. I found everything I was after and had no issues with the variety of product from fresh produce to meats to frozen goods. Additionally, this Kroger offers a fuel station, and you know I got me some fuel points to use! Overall, solid 3.5 stars for this Kroger location. Not my home Kroger, and I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here, but when in Antioch, I don't mind swinging by.

BEST PHARMACIST I think I have ever encountered! I stopped…read morein this past Monday to get a Flu shot. I didn't have an appointment, and really just picked this one because it was on my way home. The wait to get the shot was a beat, but I had no plans afterwards, and knew that they were busy, so I wasn't worried about how long it took. The pharmacist administered the shot quickly and easily, not much to be stated there. BUT, it's what he did next that really spoke to me. See, I've gotten vaccinations before, and understand that most places request you hang out for 15-30 minutes after a vaccine is given to make sure you do not experience an adverse reaction. This man started a conversation, about tattoos of all things, because i had several. We chatted for a while, with great conversation, about several topics. See, I already knew what he was doing. He was keeping me occupied during the wait time. Most times, I'm asked to sit in a chair in the waiting area and that I can leave after "X" amount of minutes. The pharmacist, to keep me from being bored, or to actually chat, or whatever, sat and talked to me during that time. I was very conscious of his actions, and exponentially grateful for that type of professionalism and "bed-side" manner. Well done with this guy. Don't lose him. He's good people.
