Since Yelp opted to close the previous listing when I advised them that the convenience store portion of this location/listing changed from the "On the Run" brand to a "Circle K," I am forced to create a new business listing. Other than the name change and signage, I've not noticed much of a difference. All the same convenience store goodies are available inside, and the gas pumps and car wash are exactly the same! You're either reviewing a gas station because you've experienced a tragedy at the pumps or because they offer the lowest prices in town; however, I am going to be the exception this time and offer my commentary on this location's car wash. Born and raised in the "Sunshine State," I don't often have to worry about washing my car, which is great, because I hate doing it. Unfortunately, in Virginia, it snows, and while I love the snow, I hate the salt, dirt, mud, crap, garbage that inevitably sticks to my vehicle after the roads have been plowed. After about a day, my race-car red Focus looks sand-blasted and sad. After getting gas (reasonable prices), I opted for the ULTIMATE CAR WASH! The selection set me back $12; however, you get $0.20 off every gallon at the pump, which is a great way to encourage patrons to fill up their tank. I only saved $2.40, but it's better than nothing. I know this review is new, but I can't shake the feeling that other customers already knew about the secret magical properties of this automatic car wash since I waited for literally an hour and a half in line before it was finally my turn. At first, I was dismayed, but unable to retreat due to being gridlocked into the lengthy feeder road; however, it was well worth it, because after the high-pressure hoses and spinning brushes that doused, lathered, scrubbed, rinsed, and polished my car, it feels new again. I have been going to this location for several years now. It's my primary gas station and convinience store, however, last night I had an experience that was unsatisfactory. I went in to buy some stuff before filling my car up, and my sister and I were standing by the doors waiting for my boyfriend to complete his purchase. As we were waiting one of the staff working at the taco bar yelled at us saying we needed to leave because they were closing soon. As long as I've been here this has been a 24 hour establishment, so clearly this lady just wanted us out of their hair. To whoever you are, I hope you choke on a tortilla. read more

We frequent this location because of its close proximity to our home, however, today was our final visit. Anytime the Spanish woman or Tariq (sp) are on duty they are extremely rude and they card us for tobacco products while people of other races aren't. Why is that? If your policy is to card anyone purchasing tobacco products then why do you single out African-Americans? Today was the last straw so my partner asked to speak to a Manager. The Hispanic lady stated that the Manager would be in tomorrow and told my partner to leave. My partner told her that she needed a name or contact info for a Manager and then she would leave. The woman then asks my partner if she's a man, woman, sir, or ma'am in front of all of the customers in the store as if it was funny. My partner told her that her comment was unacceptable and her response was "Well, I can tell. Let me see." She clearly knew she was speaking to a woman and again we frequent this location a lot. She knew exactly who she was. My partner asked for the Manager's info again. The woman states that she didn't need to speak to a Manager, and she called the officers so they are coming for her! Really?! In this climate? We are calling the cops because you don't want us to file a complaint? I guess she thought that would scare us and we would leave. Instead we chose to stay as we did absolutely nothing wrong. The cops arrived and we explained the situation. They agreed that there was no reason for them to be called. What made matters worse is the woman flat out lied to the officers and told them that my partner got in her face using her hands so she was afraid. This is the kind of bullshit that gets Black people shot! I will not let this slide. Black folk do not patronize this location! read more

The management of this Exxon is terrible. They sold outdated spoiled ice cream and would not take a return 30 minutes later with my receipt. The cashier suddenly acted like he didn't understand English. We went to buy other hot takeout items and noticed it was leftover; he tried to sell them as fresh. read more

This has to be the worst gas station in all of Ashburn. One out of three times I visit, there's some kind of problem with the pumps. It used to me much better, but has fallen into disrepair over the last 2 years. They need a change of management. read more

This review is regarding the horrible customer service and attitude of the women working the registers in the APlus Mart on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at around 2:20 pm. My daughter went into the mart to get a snack. After a few minutes I went in to see if she was okay. She finished up the transition as I was walking in and I saw her looking at the change in her hand so I asked if she had enough money and she said yes but the lady didn't give her all of her change. She was supposed to get $.51 and the lady gave her $.50. I told the lady she was a penny short and she said she didn't have any pennies. I said well she would like to have her change and the lady with her head covered immediately got an attitude. She turned to the women at the other register and asked for a penny and that lady also gets an attitude and says s"she's acting like that for a penny"? Mind you I'm speaking in a normal voice. Then the second lady says I don't have a penny either it's just a penny. I said I understand it's a penny but you can't decide not to give customers their full change. It wasn't about the penny it was about them deciding that it was okay it to give it to her. The second lady yells out to the customers "does anyone have a penny"? How immature and unprofessional. I explained again that I didn't want anyone to give me a penny I was making a point that they need to give customers all of their change. At this point the second lady or yelling but starts to accuse me of yelling all while a customer is say to me that the lady doesn't get it. Then she threatened to call security and I told her to go right ahead. She called someone or acted like she did and we left. I can't believe how they acted. I know they would not have treated an adult or anyone else like that. I tried to speak to the manager and they said her wasn't there. I called 2 hours and was told he wasn't there again. I'll keep trying until I reach him so he can know how his employees are treating customers. read more

They do not replace the fluids to clean your car outside at this gas station. Awful service.

Usually a reliable and clean place to get gas, but they ran out of gas early during the last snow storm, and over a week after the snowfall ended, there is still snow and ice around the pumps. This can lead to a very dangerous situation if someone were to slip and fall while pumping gas. read more

Car wash frequently broken so after you pay then you find out it's down then have to go in for a refund which is a pain but often they try to make you come back as they don't want to issue a refund. Also the washer fluid that is standard at every other gas station I've ever been to is always "out" conveniently. No manager is around that I've seen. And last time I was here they were out of gas. So ya, all in all not a full service location. read more

Absolutely the rudest and most unprofessional gas station I have ever been in. The clerks never acknowledge customers or say thank you. One even cut thru the long line waiting to check out, bumping into me and never even apologizing. Avoid this place completely. Spend your money with someone who values you as customer. read more

I have NEVER been treated so horribly in a customer facing environment than I did this evening around 7pm by the hispanic female cashier that works at this Exxon in Ashburn. The first time I experienced a rude and unsolicited attitude from her was when I jokingly said she checks my ID every time i go into the store, granted I know TABC requires this. I was more taken aback by the way she snapped at me. She was so rude the first time and I figured after that incident she would be better, but she was NOT. Tonight, I went into the store around 7pm. I told her that I would wait for another cashier, because I really had a bad day and I didn't want to get into it with her and as normal she was extremely rude to all of the other customers she rang up before me. She she slammed down her closed window sign and went directly over to the other cashier and as I approached she started to tell him to check my ID because I have a problem having it check. I got heated instantly. That was NOT the reason at all and we started verbally exchanging aggressions. This lady is so RUDE and doesn't listen, I specifically said, "I'm giving him my ID because he has never seen me before and can you NOT interject in my transaction thats why I came to him, you are RUDE." She continued to argue with me over and over and over again. Even another customer behind me said, "LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER!" I am taken aback this evening my fellow Gas Fillers! This is hands down the WORST customer service I have received. The other cashiers are generally decent, I mean its not the Ritz, but this lady needs to go. She is awful!!! Other than that, the gas station is clean, the tacos are actually fairly decent and they are usually stocked up on what I need. But as we all know word of mouth and customer service is the biggest drivers for clients to continue visiting an establishment. read more
