But the second time was the beginning of January when we were snowed in at the mountain house. And if we didn't make it down the mountain that day, then another snow storm was coming through and we would be stuck there for a week. I didn't have enough diapers so this constituted an emergency. The price was a bit high, but since they are my local gas station/oil change go to, I purchased the set. The snow has since melted. I traded in my vehicle. Never having broken the seal on the nicely packaged chains, I stopped at the station. I asked Jimmy, who I assume (Never assume, as in Felix's words, makes an ass out of you and me) if I could please switch the set of chains to a size that would accommodate my new car. Any smart, and I emphasis smart (as intelligent), business owner/ employee/mechanic would have easily, with no thought process necessary, said sure, no problem! Jimmy, and I won't question his thought process, as he was elbow deep in grease, said NO! Go figure. Look up the meaning of stupidity on line, one of the explanations might start with a J!!!
