We came back At 1pm and they took the car in and in a few minutes I was told rhe car failed because it hac a bald tire. When they pulled it out and I had paid for the failed in spection I ask which tire. After this myself who has been a inspector in another county for 30 yrs. and three other Boone safty inspectors could not find anything wrong wtih any of the tires. Do not take your car here unless you want to pay for something you don't need. I think they are dishonest or don't know how the proper inspection is done. They just want to sell someone from out of town a tire to pad the bill.

After my car sat in the lot for four days with no work on it, on 3/8/24 Mr. Cook decided to take my car out for a test drive on the foggiest day of the season, and subsequently crashed and totaled my car. You may notice inside of the auto shop (if you choose to visit it) there is a sign posted that says to "never take a car out in unclear conditions" This was not previously posted and was only printed off and hung up after my car was crashed and totaled by 421 auto. I would not recommend 421 auto service and they have obviously lost my business. I am understanding enough to realize that this was simply a massive accident and a huge mistake on their part. However due to the fact that my ONLY asset is now gone, I do not feel it was handled properly and I do not feel I got justice. Morally speaking, Mr. Cook personally could have aided me in the process of getting a new vehicle. Please choose a different auto service to entrust your vehicle with.

Ive been holding off from writing this review because I needed confirmation that they actually…read moremessed my car up. I also have been seeing others open up about their experience at this shop on AppStateClassified so I decided I need to write my review so they dont mess up your car, and dont take advantage of someone else. I made an appointment fairly easy and when I showed up I was very uncomfortable with the atmosphere in the shop. They didnt even remember my appointment which also made me more nervous than I was originally. I had to remind them that I needed an oil change, a change of tires, and to check the brakes cause I just had them changed at Honda of Boone and they were LOUD. They took a few hours to do the oil change, gave me no updates. No one wore masks, except one guy who wore the flimsiest cloth upfront and coughed the whole time. I dont even know if he worked there cause he spent the whole trying to make conversation with me, but eventually went to the back. After a few hours they said they finished and I had to remind them I needed my tires changed because one of the tires were cracking. They only changed 2 of the tires and left the cracking ones oddly enough. When I went back to my car, my oil gauge still said 0% and they came to fix that, NEVER gave me a sticker on the windshield when I should get my oil changed, and my brakes squeaked louder than ever. After I went to a different shop to fix what they did turns out THEY PUT THE WRONG OIL IN MY CAR MAKING MY CAR PREFORM EXTREMELY LOUD. Ive been to a lot of very sketchy mechanics and this by far takes the cake.
