Buyer beware. I have screenshots and a full screen recording showing that this dealership…read moreadvertised and sold me a new car with 8 miles on it. At no point did anyone tell us this was actually a fleet vehicle, and we were told the "good deal" was because we were using their in‑house financing -- not because the car had thousands of miles on it. When the vehicle was delivered to us in Virginia, it showed 4,600 miles, the check‑engine light was on, the ABS light was on, and the AWD system wouldn't engage. None of this was disclosed, and the paperwork clearly states 8 miles. When we contacted the dealership, the GM, Adam, was not willing to work out any kind of deal. Our only options were: 1) Take a broken vehicle that they said they would fix, or 2) Unwind the deal entirely. There was no offer to discount the vehicle, no attempt to compensate us, no willingness to upgrade us, and no effort to finance a better option. They made zero attempt to make this right despite the clear misrepresentation. Posting this so others know to double‑check everything before doing business here. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish.

That meant driving home in the dark, and in the snow. To make matters worse, Leadership was nonresponsive when I called and emailed several times regarding the registration of a GMC I bought there. A week after I bought the vehicle, Elevation (Derek) required me to print a form and make it and the vehicle available so a Sherrif Deputy could verify the VIN. I completed that the same day Elevation requested it! Then I had to mail it to Elevation, which I also did the next day. Derek called and texted numerous times to confirm I mailed it and kept that up for days. I explained that I have no control over USPS and since they didn't give me a FEDEX number, they would get it through snail mail. I even emailed a copy of the form to Derek immediatly after the Sherrif Deputy signed the form. They received the form in the mail in three days. It took over 70 days to receive my registration! Apparently, they sold me a vehicle with a title they didn't have. When I requested the applicable $1,000.00 NC penalty they owed me for the delay, they ceased all communications. There wasn't even an apology or an email stating that they wouldn't pay, just silence! Elevation does not deserve your business. Get proof that they own the vehicle they are about to sell you!!

I forwarded it to my insurance company and received payment within a week. Contacted the shop for appointment, was informed they would let me know when my parts were delivered. 3 months later I was finally contacted about bringing in my car. I was promised that I would get frequent updates. I did not receive updates until less I called them. When I did call the person I was working with was rarely there when I called. Sometimes it took 2 voicemails to get a call back. I was often given the exact same updated weeks in rows. "Your car is going to paint today " I would call 2 weeks later. "Great news your car is going to paint today". Felt like I was given the run around. After weeks of waiting for parts one of the technicians broke a part that we waited on since the parts were ordered in October. Delaying the completion of the work on my car. Sadly I would not recommend having work done there. I wish I had taken my car elsewhere.

Anyway, I contacted Modern Collision almost immediately when I got my virtual repair estimate from my insurance company. I sent them an electronic copy. I was told they would order the parts right away and when they came in they would call me to bring in my car. Two weeks later - crickets. I called them and left a message - more crickets. A month after the initial contact when I had heard nothing, I drove the hour over there to talk to the person (Tanya) who was assigned to manage my job. She "assured" me the parts had been ordered, but they were having problems with their phones and the ordering system. They would call me as they expected the parts soon. MORE CRICKETS!!! It's now three months after my visit there and the assurances I was given, I NEVER heard from them again. Well, guess what? NEVER AGAIN from me. And I'm warning you now, too, so you don't make the same mistake. When it comes to customer service, this place is the worst! Do yourself a favor, take your business elsewhere. They had plenty of time and chances to make it right and they didn't even make an effort. The place I ended up taking it to (Burgess and Son in Glendale Springs) was awesome.

Arrived at 10:45 on time and I had two questions before we went to the waiting room. #1, Will the zirk fitting be greased in the drive train? ANSWER, I don't know but I can put a request on the work sheet. QUESTION con't. Have they bee greased in the past? ANSWER, I don't know and there is no way of telling. QUESTION con't, We have been bringing this car here for ten years and no one has ever asked. No answer. QUESTION con't, Can I talk to the guy doing the work? ANSWER, no. I was so upset at that point I turned down his sales pitch to have more stuff done, there is a closer dealer to us to go to. #2. At 25,000 miles you had to regrind my front rotors and now they need it again. ANSWER, It is our mountain roads and the way you drive. QUESTION con't, I am 86 years old and have been driving for over 75 years. I drive like the old lady going to church on Sunday. We don't drive down any steep roads but once every three months and our roads elevation change is around 200 feet where we drive. The guy tried to tell me that even on curved roads the rotors can wear uneven, ME but I'm not stepping on the brakes. I worked in metallurgy for more than 15 years and I know that cast rotors can have varied hardness and I suspect I got a bad pair. The guy started to argue with me so I just walked away I suspect the response from Toyota will be the typical canned defense, have at it but I don't think we will be going back.
