I made an appointment one day and the next, I took car I was considering buying over for an inspection. The fee to do so was very reasonable, less than I expected. The car was in good shape but they did find a few suggestions to upgrade the ride and safety, such as old tires were starting to dry rot, and breaks needed maintenance. The staff on the phone and in person was very friendly. They got my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I was able to walk down to Sandie's Restaurant and grab lunch while waiting. We had a screw in our tire coming off the National Parkway. We called several places to replace our tire. These folks were able to replace the exact tire. We decided the tread was down and replacing all four tires is what we wanted to do. The ordered us a set of Michelin tires at a good price from a phone call and no deposit. Thank you Avery Tire Pros!! Especially John!!! We had our power steering replaced before we traveled to the mountains for vacation. We went to leave for dinner and realized. . . We had no power steering! We are staying on top of a mountain with crazy curvy roads and we have a 6 hour drive home. I called Avery Tires abs the he woman who answered listened and asked me to speak with service. John said to bring it by and they would get us in and see what they could do. John was super knowledgeable and really cared about what he was doing. He realized the mechanic back home didn't do a good job and instructed us how to get a refund for the parts. He put in a new line and power steering pump. We left and went to Kaye's kitchen for breakfast and he had the car almost ready. Very professional and no more power steering issue! I have a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that has about 67,000 miles on it. The break lines in The Jeep Wrangler tend to deteriorate causing the break calipers to stick and not release. Avery Tire did a Fantastic Job of fixing my problem with brand new break lines and new calipers. While traveling to Sugar Mountain to Ski, We had a flat. Took to Avery to repair the flat, and they found the tire to be damaged and unable to be repaired. Rather than having to purchase a couple hundred dollar replacement tire, they offered a used tire of equivalent tread level and style for a whopping $25. So unexpected and pleasantly surprised. Jon was willing to fit my parents car in last minute for front brakes. I brought my parents up here from FL for 3 months and on the first day of their trip I heard squeaky brakes. I did not want to leave them here without functioning brakes. Callie in the office was super kind and even fronted me some change to buy a snack from the vending machine. The waiting area had comfy couches and an area for me to sit and do some work on my laptop. Free wifi, vending machines and tv to entertain while waiting. Myron at Avery tire is an HONEST and fantastic mechanic! Our truck axial broke driving up beech mountain, on locals recommendation we went to Avery tires looking for Myron. He took a look at the truck while we grabbed lunch, when we got back he TOOK US UNDER THE TRUCK & EXPLAINED TO US WHAT WAS BROKEN! And as if that wasn't enough great customer service. He told us that it was drivable as is!!! He could have told us it was gonna take a week & cost $1000 & we would have had basically no choice.
