Diner is open and great service! Will be back! Plenty of parking for campers as well, great for a sit down quick bite

Good location but definitely on the smaller side. It's packed full of food, coffee, snacks, and…read moredrinks. The young woman who checked us out was super sweet and friendly, the coffee was fresh, and the made to order food came fast and hot. We got egg, sausage, and cheese on bagels and the whole thing tasted microwaved instead of toasted, which was disappointing since their MTO breakfast is usually great. The hash browns were really good and hot!

What the Sheetz? No, really, what the Sheetz? I'm a bit surprised at this location. I know that…read moremostly this is a Sheetz here to serve the community that it is in, but when driving the highway and you see a sign that Sheetz is off the exit you know of a few things for sure. You will have facilities to use, parking aplenty, and a quick browse over the many items. This Sheetz, fell flat. I had been doing a lot of commuting back and forth from PA to DC. Along the way I have stopped at many highway stops to quickly continue in my trek. Honestly, I have been through this corridor many times and I had no idea there was a Sheetz located here. But I was more focused on the road and not necessarily the amenities offered off each exit. Getting here was not hard at all, but the lot was super confusing. See the lot is on what some would call an important corner in this town. It appears that this Sheetz has been here for some time and just updated the lot to make it look new along the way. The parking is atrocious, since this is not your usual lot they threw in parking where it would fit. The back side of the building is totally confusing as a majority of the parking spots are up against the building, and since the building is not totally square-ish, the parking is just all over the place. Add some parallel spot as well and you have just about total chaos. Talking about chaos, the facilities. There is only one facility to use. Bright side, you can say that they have gender neutral restrooms. Not so bright side, when you really have to go, you have to wait. I mean really wait. Don't worry, you may get confused as well, because does that line go to the restroom or is that the line for the register? As far as the items to opt from on the shelves. Think Sheetz and then divide by four. Space wise this is not a great store as they have all you would expect from a Sheetz, but not every item in each of those areas. It is a bit disorienting trying to find an item, if they even have that item. If you can, wait while on the highway to go a bit further to hit a Sheetz. Until this one is rebuilt or relocated let it be for the community.

    Sheetz - A depressing sandwich.

It had been a few years since I have come through the Berkeley Springs area. The last time I was…read morethrough here was roughly ten years ago. It was on my way to a family vacation and this served as a pit stop. Of course the pit stop was Sheetz, but that was at the old location which still sits in town. Heading south through here you will definitely pass the old location and will be able to tell that it is indeed an old Sheetz. This new location takes you all the way through town, near the roundabout for the 522 bypass (which, for some reason, is not open to northbound traffic at this time). Pulling in here early in the morning served as a stretching of the legs and grabbing a quick breakfast. Found a parking spot immediately and made my way inside. Knowing that I was going to be getting breakfast I made sure to stop at the touchscreens to order. A few quick taps and I was set for food. After ordering I went towards the facilities. What I liked about this location they put some thought into layout. They leaned into the restaurant aspect more than other locations. The facilities are located right next to the seating area if you choose to dine in. Towards the front of the store made for a better placement. If this serves as a pit stop for some, I am sure it is greatly appreciated by those people as you don't have to walk into the entire store to the back corner. By the time I was finished with the facilities, which were pristine, and grabbed my drink, and paid, my order was ready. I grabbed my order and made my way over to the seating area. I devoured their 2 for $6 breakfast sandwiches while I spaced out. Facing front and looking out onto the lot, you get to see how much this space is busy. People coming and going and at a fast pace. I do have to say, the staff here are amazing. It did not matter if I saw an employee, each and every one of them greeted me and asked how my day was going. They were some of the nicest employees I have come across in any business. If I ever find myself driving this way again, I will definitely make this my pit stop.

I ordered a Crispy Chicken, egg and cheese sandwich and added bacon as well. On my sandwich I received no chicken at all, and once slice of bacon. In a business where you literally stick a receipt on the side of the bag with the list of items needed, no excuse to miss components. Looks like there is no local Sheetz in Berkeley Springs or Hancock you can count on now.
