I paid a significant amount for hair extensions and had issues almost immediately after the install. The color match was not what I expected, and more importantly, the installation itself caused extreme scalp tension and discomfort. I experienced redness, pulling, headaches, and migraines from how tight the extensions felt. I reached out multiple times trying to resolve things calmly and professionally. I even offered to return the hair, but instead of working toward a reasonable solution or partial refund, I was advised to file a dispute through Klarna. After continuing to try communicating, I was eventually blocked. I understand extension installs are expensive and results can vary, but I believe professionalism and customer service matter just as much as the install itself. I would strongly encourage future clients to discuss refund policies in writing beforehand and pay close attention to how their scalp feels after installation. This review is simply my honest personal experience as a client.

I chose this blow dry bar because a ponytail is clearly listed as one of the available styles under the blowout section on their website. When we got there, they kept the bride waiting around for 20 minutes before finally informing us that they "didn't feel comfortable" doing a ponytail because they didn't have enough girls trained in that style. Seriously, a hair and beauty business with 6-8 creative professionals on staff at the time, and no one could do a simple ponytail? On the day of her rehearsal dinner! The bride ended up crying in the chair, and I started crying too, and no one working there cared or showed the slightest bit of empathy. When I expressed my disappointment on the way out, the girl at checkout (don't know her name, but she had pink hair) dismissively told me that ponytails are considered an "updo," and they didn't have enough girls trained in a ponytail to do my sister's. When I pointed out that ponytails are listed under the blowout section on their own website, she just looked away and didn't respond. No acknowledgment, no apology--just silent, rude indifference. The ponytail didn't include any pinning of hair, which is what they define as an "updo". They ruined what should have been a joyful, memorable part of my sister's wedding weekend. The place had a very strange vibe, was completely unprofessional, and I just can't understand how the people working are so bad at interacting with humans. I would never recommend Sip and Dry to anyone--especially not for anything remotely special.

The salon came recommended by another curly haired curl I met back in February. I found Anna-Rose and watched her work on instagram. Took me 5 months to finally feel comfortable trusting someone new. I liked her work and her passion for her skill and work. I met with Anna-Rose on 7/8/2023 for a consultation. She was so friendly, down to earth, and real. She made me feel comfortable. We talked about my past hair cut bad experiences and what I wanted. I showed her some pictures and she showed me some. We figured out what I wanted and I booked for 7/15/2023. We talked again the day of about what I wanted and she got to work. She was gentle and talked me through what she was doing. I wanted a trim, a soft u-shape cut, with slight face framing pieces.
