I called the day of the appointment to confirm the time and was told, "Yes, your appointment is at 6pm." We showed up at 6pm and was told that our appointment was actually for 7pm and that one of the massage therapists wouldn't be there until later. We waited for an hour and after the second massage therapist showed up at 7:05pm (after our massage was supposed to start), we were lead to a tiny cramped room in the back. The "couples beach massage" was nowhere near the beach. There wasn't even a picture of the beach nearby. The massage room is a tiny room without enough space to even walk around the massage tables, and it was packed with stuff all over the counter tops including chemicals and someones lunch. Not the most conducive environment for relaxation. My massage therapist explained in detail how he was going to wrap me in a "toga diaper" using the sheet during the massage. Weird. Now, I have had dozens of professional massages and they have all just discreetly moved the sheet out of the way, so having my torso and butt wrapped up in a sheet diaper was a little odd. My husband's table was a normal massage table, mine was an adjustable hospital bed that had a head support (where you put your face in it when you are lying face down on a massage table) that was zip-tied onto it. Not only was it not very secure, it was secured down too low so that it was very uncomfortable during the massage (my neck hurt for several days after). It was nearly impossible to relax during the massage because my massage therapist would run his fingertips lightly up my inner thighs and then ask me, loudly and creepily in my ear, "Does that feel relaxing?" Um, excuse me, last I checked, a professional massage did not include a creepy guy tickling his fingertips up my inner thigh so far that I was wondering where exactly his hand was going. And you asking about it doesn't help. At the end of a very strange and not relaxing massage, my therapist whispered into my ear, "Tips are greatly appreciated." Here's a tip, DON'T GO HERE.

During the call, the staff member referenced a negative experience I had at a different salon three years ago, which I had never mentioned to them on this booking call. This suggests the staff member may have previously worked at that salon, but regardless, bringing up this personal and unrelated experience felt invasive and triggered significant discomfort and trauma response. The interaction was highly unprofessional and left me feeling uneasy after the call ended, Not to mention they tried hard to upsell me into other services. While I sat in my unease, gathering my emotions, I did a review of their social media. I reviewed Glo All Out's Instagram and was disappointed to find content that appeared to mock clients (I have video) of several reels they created by 2 different techs mocking behavior of customers/clients, further confirming my concerns about their lack of professionalism. I decided to cancel my appointment, which was a week away, by messaging them on Facebook and removing my card from their Square system. Their response was a curt "sure," with no acknowledgment of my concerns, apology, or attempt to address the situation, which I mentioned in my request to cancel. The combination of an uncomfortable phone interaction, unprofessional social media content, and a dismissive response to my cancellation request, with the reason why, made me feel unheard and disrespected as a potential client. I never proactively provided them with any personal data, other than my first and last name, They immediately stated I had been there. I said exactly this..."NO, I don't think so. I simply messaged about sales you had going on in 2022, 3 years ago (to which I have the receipts, with screenshots). Here's the irony. I am deaf, I use a captioning app for my calls, which means everything said is recorded in text for me to read. I have verifiable proof through receipts of the call recorded via text/captions. The honorable and professional way to admit their faults was to own up to them mentioning Lash Addict, which I never mentioned, they did in response to my name being provided for the booking. I cannot recommend Glo All Out based on this experience for lashes, spray tans or other salon services, there are other outstanding places to go here in St. Pete. I especially love the vegan tan at the other luxury spa in town.

I was also never told upfront that the method used (a hyaluronic pen) is not FDA-approved in the U.S., something I only learned after the fact when I consulted a licensed provider for correction. This whole experience has been stressful and disappointing. I'm now paying another professional to fix what should have been done right the first time. Please stop saying the bump was there before you have before pictures taken in your office as proof. Please be kind and stop lying.
