Mrs. Kimberly was so friendly and helpful. I had a question about a new prescription and even though she wasn't familiar with it, she went and did some research while I waited. She came back with the required tests I would need and had me on my way in no time. I had to return shortly after for a follow up and they got me in so fast and I was back to work in less than an hour. However I did not feel like I was rushed in any way! I think this office forgets about their obligation to health first. I'm from California. I have received care from Cedars Sinai and doctors in Beverly Hills . Another mother had warned me that they felt this practice thought too highly of themselves and forgot about the nobility of their profession: to care for children. I had to go to PA due to a family emergency two days before the surgery. My wife took my son to the appointment. After receiving the bill, she commented that the price was a lot more than we expected; the receptionist said that was pre-insurance and they'd file. When I returned a week later and questioned why we paid the money up front the receptionist told me that Dr. House was no longer in our insurance network. I asked when he dropped out and was first told Jan then May. Regardless sometime between the evaluation and the surgery he dropped our insurance network; telling us didn't make the cut. We found out he was out of the network one week after the surgery. When the insurance paid, our co-pay jumped to $2006.00. I contacted the Dr. office to try to work something out. Our position fell on deaf ears, apparently, they don't believe notifying patients when they drop an insurance network after scheduling a surgery is their responsibility. Somehow that doesn't seem right. Competent surgeon but . . . watch your wallet.

Another same-day Friday start to a vacation for Calvin leaving his patients "high and dry" presumably to have to proactively call and reschedule, because you know, that's what REAL doctors do. This guy is such a sham and to be avoided and it's simply comical at this point he's not only updating me on his ill planned vacations with his patients but hasn't tHe 30 seconds to remove me from his database. Some people can't be saved from their own stupidity. It's worth noting that the fake account his office used to combat my legitimate initial negative review (oddly the singular other review that exists here, posted on the same day I posted mine) still only has one review. So all this to say, if you are about a "Dr" willing to sacrifice their integrity publicly here on Yelp to avoid accountability and a fair representation of consumer experiences, THIS is your quack. It's worth noting that although this may seem trivial, the FTC feels very strongly about it and it's nothing short of illegal. Luckily I deal with this professionally in my career and have a standing quarterly call with the office wishing the FTC that handles review manipulation.
