I assumed this information would be reviewed before my appointment if it affected my eligibility for treatment. Instead, I received a phone call as I was parking for my appointment--after driving about 45 minutes --to tell me they couldn't perform the laser facial because I use retinol. To make matters worse, I had called the day before to ask which parking garage to use and whether parking was validated. I was told to use a specific garage and that parking would be validated. After arriving, I learned they only validate parking on weekdays--not Saturdays. That information should have been provided when I specifically asked. I appreciate providers prioritizing patient safety, and I don't fault them for declining treatment but the lack of prior notice and incorrect information about parking left a really bitter taste. the staff took zero responsibility for their oversight and said I should have read the policy.

This allowed for easy access and in this part of town that can be challenging to come by. The desk staff are very nice and helpful. Someone came in 30+ minutes early for their appointment and instead of making it a big deal they offered them the use of the sauna. I thought this was really great and showcased that the spa really does prioritize guest experience. The level of communication pre appointment was great and supportive. I was on a wait list for my service and was texted about an earlier opening. My actual procedure was also a great experience. I made an appointment a few days before, but even though I was right on time, I still had to wait another 15 minutes. Seems like only two women were on call. The woman who helped me was really nice and explained why she thought sugaring was better than waxing. She mentioned that they've been getting a lot of first time customers who normally go to the European Wax Center that is close by! I personally found sugaring to be more painful than waxing, but at least it didn't take too long. Given that the prices tend to be the same as waxing at their competitor, I think I'll probably stick to waxing unless they offer some cool promos or deals in the future.
