THEY PAY FOR GOOGLE REVIEWS!! I went to go order glasses online from zenni optical like I have done i years past. I couldn't find my pupilar distance on my prescription from them. I called and they told me that's NOT INCLUDED when you pay for an eye exam. They offered to do it for $25 if I wanted to come back. Funny my old doctor included this when I got my last prescription before moving to Georgia. They lost my business for life!! read more

Doctor was great. Was hesitant to order glasses because I didn't love any of the frames. Ended up being talked into ordering... $600 later. Got home and thought - that's a lot to pay for something I don't like so - called to cancel. Was told that the factory had already started on my glasses and there was nothing that could be done. Fairly absurd response considering it had been less than 2 hours and as I left they told me it would take 3 weeks for my glasses to come in. A shame really... simply wanted to look for other frames and would've brought my business to them. Now- I'll take my glasses and NEVER do business with them again. read more

I needed a new local eye doctor and Eye Contact was a pleasant surprise. I had a full exam and contacts fitting. The initial exam was performed by a very pleasant and friendly assistant who seemed very competent. The doctor was straightforward, interested, and helpful. I've been wearing contacts for 30 yrs, so I'm pretty good at the routine. I recommend Eye Contact. read more

11weeks to get new glasses?! Yes, that's what happened to me with 5 of the weeks totally unnecessary, just due to incompetent staff. Dr. Mobley finally adjusted my new glasses in about 10 minutes after numerous adjustments by a so called optometrist that had no clue what she was doing. She even sent the glasses back and changed the lenses...unnecessarily...because she could not adjust the frames as Dr. Mobley did. Two of the three staff members made me feel unwelcome and a burden to the staff. This was the longest and worst experience I've ever had in getting new glasses. Will never go back to eye contact, nor do I recommend them. read more

I have been going to Eye Contact for several years now. The staff very courteous and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend people to come to this establishment all of the time. After reading the review from Reverend H, I am a bit perplexed. I am usually a bit puzzled when something negative or leading towards color/race comes out of anyones mouth especially titles that begins with Reverend. The quote..."To not care that you offend paying customers and ethnically different people is the ultimate low and not business smart." Reading this comment offended me beyond the realm of any offensive thing ever spoken in my presence. As a woman of color, never once have I felt or was treated any different than how I deserved to be treated at Eye Contact. I am sure if I was being condesending, I would deserve to be treated in the same manner. There are some people on this planet that can never be satisfied. If Marietta Eye Clinic worked for you, then by all means continue to patronize their business. Moving on to the issue of the product. Certain manufacturers have certain warranties. Some of those warranties may become void if you choose to have certain things done..i.e. a prescription that the manufacturer does not recommend for lenses or frames. The staff at Eye Contact always goes above and beyond for me and my family. I can only hope you also get to have the same experience. read more

The eye doctor, Dr. Mobley is very competent. However, the office staff is not. They are pretty rude and if you want to spend less than $250 on a frame they look at you like you are crazy. I had 2 children in there and it was going to be just under $1,000 for 2 pair of glasses. I took the kids prescription and am going to find somewhere else to go. read more

I moved away from my local eye doctor a last year and needed to find a new doctor in the Kennesaw/Acworth area. On recommendation of my boyfriend, I visited EyeContact. Every part of the process was pleasant - from calling to make the appointment to actually seeing the doctor and for followup to purchase contacts. I believe they provide exceptional individualized attention. Unfortunately, I do not have vision insurance so cost effectiveness was also a consideration. Their services were very affordable and I feel the service I was provided was most definitely worth the money spent. I will certainly return for future eye care needs and refer to others. read more

The staff is rude, in my opinion. Especially the nurse and the lady with the long red hair that does the measurements for glasses. There was only one lady that has short hair that works in the front that was polite and seemed genuine in her interaction with me. The doctor seemed to be in a bad mood as well. Everyone seems unhappy, there is whispering and I felt judged. I don't want to return to this doctor's office, I felt very uncomfortable with the reaction when I informed them I didn't have the funds for a 'special' eye test they said was 'optional'. If you don't have money and plan on spending it there, don't go there. As I said before, just my opinion here. I don't usually write reviews, but feel obligated on this one. read more

First of all this is my first and last visit to this place. I left there with a bad taste in my mouth, my story began when I had my yearly eye exam picked out a pair of glasses that I had for only a week paid over $300 and was not happy with them. I got a pair that I like today and was charged over $200 for this pair thinking that I will have to pay a difference for the new pair. My point to this review is that I cannot be reimbursed for the other pair of glasses because that Is not their policy. What I experienced today is high class robbery, I did not leave out of there with two airs of glasses I left with one that I paid for today and a pair of lens what Will I do with the lens.They need to be upfront with their customers about the policies before hand, I think this is robbery and I want my money back. This is the worst place ever. The ugly lady with poorly applied makeup in the office (Tanya) is absolutely rude. She accused me of not paying for my service when I did and had the receipt to prove. When she realized that she was wrong she did not offer any apologies, yelled at me and walked away from attending to me.This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received and non of the other staff members spoke up.This is the second time that I was treated poorly here. I scheduled an appointment here this month and gave them my insurance information, telling them I was there for a yearly exam that my insurance told me would have a $30 copay. First of all, I was given a call more than 3 hours before my appointment time asking if I could come in earlier because the doctor had something come up, and I told her that I would do my best to see if I could move around my other appointments. The woman was decent enough about it, however when I did make a way to get there 2 1/2 hours before the new appointment, the office staff did not seem to care that I had just rescheduled my entire day for their convenience. Either way, this did not bother me as much as the actual visit. Early in the appointment, I was offered to get a different test done for an extra $60 and I opted out, stating that I was just there for what my yearly eye exam included. I figured from this action that the rest of the appointment would be treated similarly: if something would cost extra, it would be made aware to me. When asked what I wear on an everyday basis - glasses or contacts, I stated contacts. However, I reiterated that I was just there to get my prescription up to date with my yearly eye exam. However, at the end of the appointment, after the sales woman tried desperately to get me to buy contacts and I again opted out, I was told that I would be charged an EXTRA $100 that was NEVER made aware to me during the appointment. They stated that because I got a "contacts fitting," that I would have to pay for that in addition to my $30 copay for the eye exam and that the "contacts fitting" was not included by my insurance. I asked why I was never told that what they were doing was not part of the service I had requested and the woman told me that a "contact fitting" and an "eye exam" are two different things and that the eye exam didn't cover prescriptions for contacts. I understand if they are two different things, I just do not see how this would be a fair business practice to not allow the patient to know exactly what is and is not included in their services. However, my frustration stemmed out of the fact that I made it clear from the making of my appointment that I was there for the eye exam that was included with my insurance, and though they started by telling me which services would cost extra and which would not, they completed a service without any warning that it would ever cost extra. I am disgusted with this business practice, and feel as though I have been fooled. I will NEVER return. read more

This is the most horrible place of business I have ever been to. The ladies are very rude and act like their better than you. They don't offer help of any kind. I called to say I had gotten tied up in traffic but would be there in a few mins. They called me back n said " the Dr said you will need to reschedule " told her I was 2 blocks away but said same thing. I would have been 10 mins. late. I told her how rude and hateful they were and that I would not be back. They just lost 2 patients but guess they don't care. I am taking my grandsons to a much nicer and friendly place. After being a patient here for several years I was very disappointed when I went to pick up contacts. I had ordered a 12 month supply and paid half down being new at wearing contacts I had decided that maybe it would be a good idea if I just bought a 6 month supply at first. So I explained this to the office staff and I was told I could not pick up any of the contacts unless I paid the remaining balance. I felt that this was wrong as they were holding items I had already paid for. She insisted that I wasn't getting any if the contacts unless I paid the remaining half the balance. So I did and I will not ever go back not would l recommend this office to anyone. I have never been impressed with the office staff anyway. More than happy to take my money elsewhere. read more
