I had my consultation and heard the price breakdown, then visited other companies to make sure I was getting the best services. I came back to Wang Vision, and I'm still very happy with my choice. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the procedures and helped me feel secure in my decision. There was a student/trainee that attended my consultation with Karen, and I was glad to hear that they take so many students for training at this location. (The student did a great job, too!) Cameron made sure that I felt supported and explained my available options in a very accessible way. Dr. Jones and his assistant performed the surgery in a separate room, and the procedure itself was very fast (like 20 minutes under the laser). Admittedly I sat under the machine for a bit longer because they had to wait for my eyes to numb, so the entire consultation session (redone during day of surgery) and actual surgery took about 3 hours. Then, you go back the next day for a follow up to make sure everything looks ok. I have overall felt supported and informed in my decision to go with Wang Vision Institute. LASIK surgery is a big decision, and I'm very happy with my decision. Plus, they have a really cool lobby.

Dr. Zimmerman proposed two ways my surgery can be done, one gets both eyes to 20/20, the other one that could help me read without relying as much on reading glasses (I need reading glasses at my age). We used correction glasses and tried both scenarios, he was very detailed in explaining and informing me both solutions and what they entail in the future. I was able to make an informed decision. And finally, it was doctor Guduru who performed the surgery. It was a great success, and without any pain or adverse feelings. I was sent home with a post surgery care package and instructions on recovery. This is a very professional practice with the highest standards in vision care, I would recommend to everyone who needs Lasik or other vision procedures.

My wife went to Walmart Pharmacy to refill a prescription of mine for eye drops. The pharmacist…read moresaid the prescription had expired and would have to be renewed. My wife called Eye Health from there and asked for the prescription to be renewed while she was at the pharmacy. The reception or whoever she was talking to said that couldn't be done. The doctor would have to do. (I had just been seen by their doctor two weeks earlier). Nevertheless, it could not be done. I called Eye Health when my wife got home empty handed and asked why the prescription could not be called in or faxed to the pharmacy while she was there instead of making her or me do a second trip. Whoever answered the phone this time said it could and she didn't understand why someone would have told me otherwise. She said she would have it called in immediately. In fact, I think she claimed to send it while I was on the phone with her. My wife made another trip to the pharmacy a few days later to pick it up. It still had not been called in. I called Eye Health again. No live answer, only a recording inviting a message be left. I asked for them to call me. A day later, no call returned. I sent a message explaining essentially what I have written here, but never got a reply to it. I called again. Again I can't get a person, only a invitation to leave a message. I left the same message to call me about the missing prescription. Another day goes by with no return call. I called the pharmacy to see if perhaps they finally called in the prescription but didn't give me the courtesy of returning my call to them apologizing and telling me the order had finally been done. But NO. No call has ever been returned. I am through with this doctor's office.
