After a long research I choose Lake Nona ophthalmology, and I booked consultation with DR Patel , upon my arrival I was greeted with a pleasant and courteous staff , the office was bright, nice ,and clean. I first came in contact with Beatrice the clinical manger who is extremely kind and very welcoming. She made me feel at ease as if I know her my whole life and she did all the scanning . Then I met with Dr Patel who recommended the refractive surgery instead of EVO ICL which is why I booked the consultation in the first place. I was able to get into central Florida eye clinic within a few days. My first thought was, it's possible that the practice isn't great with no waiting for an appointment. However, everything about both of my visits was great! The office is nice and clean, the front desk girl is super sweet and she helps with some tests and such. Dr. Kazi was very thorough, has amazing bedside manner and is conservative in his treatment plan. I appreciate that in a Dr, as some might suggest to just cut your eye out. He answered all my questions and concerns and didn't make me feel rushed at all. He's very personable and easy to get along with! The office staff is super helpful, they were able to get my husband and I appointments right next to each other, so we could come at the same time. They also explained our insurance coverage to us really well, in regard to getting eye glasses. They have a fairly large selection of eye glasses to choose from if you end up needing them. I took a picture of one panel of glasses, but they have 4 or 5 more outside of the picture I took. There's lots of parking available! I highly recommend Dr. Salinas and his office team and will continue to go to them every year that I'm living in Orlando.

The staff is inept at best . I showed up to find they weren't there. There was no call no text no email. But they still sent me text messages after I made another appt if I was coming. I pressed 3 which meant to cancel my appointment 3x and they called me the night before reminding me of my appointment. They claimed they never got the text canceling. Like I said the staff isn't very good and even if you get through they are rude ! Last time they blame AT&T for my troubles getting through to them. Doc are great but staff and their overall system has lead me to other practices.

Fast forward to today, I asked to come back in to see him bc my eyes were bothering me (light sensitivity, eye pain/throbbing), and I was worried that my iridotomy didn't last. After a full exam, he determined that everything looked great and my eyes issues are due to dry eyes and he prescribed eye drops.
