After going to those chain/franchise/mall - places to get my eyes checked for many years.....I feel like I finally got my vision checked by an actual doctor vs how to empty my wallet for pretty frames. setting the appointment and the first interaction was very accommodating and very pleasant with the administrative stuff. Disappointed. I urge EVERYONE to watch out for their billing at this place of business. Know your maximums because this place of business, does not respect them. I firmly believe this office should be audit for insurance fraud/ethics. They wanted to charge me over my required payment for two services. I scheduled an appointment for my wife and me. I wished I would have checked the reviews, apparently they did something similar 4 days ago to another person. I have EyeMed and they were trying to charge me over my required amount. My max is $40 and that wasn't even an option. When I questioned them about it, they doubled down. They volunteered to call my insurance, no thank you. They should have reviewed that before I came. I called them. I filled out this long electronic questionnaire only for them to ask me the same questions which included my insurance. When I noticed how they were, I told them to stop my wife's eye map, they didn't, they kept going. I asked them to stop over 5 mins before my wife walked out that part of the exam. I wont make any assumptions about the staff and owner, but this was the worst eye doctor experience Ive had in the over 20yrs Ive been seeing eye doctors. I regret not cancelling my wife's appointment, but I did not want to inconvenience her due to their actions. When I asked to see the documentation that they showed me with the inflated numbers, they had already "shredded it". I remember it showing 70, 90, and 110 dollars where my maximum pay was only 40 dollars. I cancelled my appointment and not once did a manager come to see my concerns. However, while the Doctor was walking out he politely asked how I was. I told him I was not good. After hearing my story he offered my wife an extra bottle of solution and said he would order one pair of trial lenses for my wife to make it right. (I originally had this marked as but because the doctor asked how I was and offered a trial pair, I changed it to Please know your maximums before visiting. read more

I loved the fact that I could make my appointment online and how friendly the staff and optometrist was overall. My only real gripe with them is that they are slowwwwwww. I was only there for an eye exam and it took over two hours to get through it!! That's insane! I probably would've been there all day if I had gotten glasses too! Don't they realize people have things to do and can't spend all day at the eye doctor? They also didn't get to me on time and their eye exam is very invasive. They were poking and prodding at my eyes the whole time. Then, they wanted to cash me out while my eyes were dilated. Um, not a very good time for that. So yeah, they need to up their efficiency game and streamline the exam big time. But other than that, I'd go there again in the future. read more

My optometrist had retired and suddenly I was having strange eye problems. I decided to see Dr. Vy because he had excellent reviews and was close by. I was able to get right in and Dr. Vy diagnosed me with a serious eye problem and called a specialist right away. He was able to get me in for a consult on that very day, a Friday afternoon.
