My sister needed glasses for nighttime driving and, being who she is, waited until the last minute to order glasses before she drove around at night. We happened to be eating next door and popped into this location to see if they could accommodate last minute glasses. The receptionists and one of the employees, Jackie, were super helpful. Since her prescription was between .5-2.5 and they had lenses available, Jackie was able to help her choose a pair of glasses to start for today. He even managed to find glasses and lenses on a promotional deal for her. While we waited to pay (and the receptionists checked our insurance just in case we could get a discount...we did not) he prepared everything to start on her glasses for her. I had an appointment for routine eye exam in August this year. Doctor recommended me to DR Ghanshyam Patel for glaucoma testing. I was given a latest proscription for new glasses which I got Eye to Eye care make for me. Went to DR Patel for further testing per Eye to Eye Care's suggestion and learned my eyes are fine PER dr Patels diagnosis but I still can't see properly and mind you paid big out of pocket. I made an appointment with Rye to Eye care just this week on Thursday, and I get a phone call from the office saying we have to reschedule appointment as DR. Will be out of office this whole week Why would they give appointment and then also call for reminders when DR is not even there ? Very disappointed with the whole experience, I only went there because of a recommendation. read more

The entire staff at Eye to Eyecare shows genuine care and concern for anybody that walks through their doors. I don't normally write reviews this long, but I was really, really impressed with this facility. All I needed was a contact lens exam, but I was having problems finding an eyecare provider that actually took my insurance. The other places I tried didn't really work out, with several telling me I was covered when I actually wasn't. Another place took my insurance, but had their next available appointment at the end of the month, about 2-3 weeks, which seemed a bit far. Upon telling a friend of mine about this, he referred me to Dr. Azmina Momin. I gave her office a call and her receptionist was beyond helpful. She informed me that I was definitely covered and that they could take walk-ins, but that the other place I set an appointment with had a claim on my insurance that kept me from setting one with them. She told me not to worry, and offered to call my insurance company directly to resolve the issue while I drove there. At the office itself, I was helped by the nice receptionist and another staff member. She was also very informative, kind, and helpful. She told me how important it was for them to go the extra mile for their patients, such as saving them money through referrals. At the end, she also gave me a thorough list of the different monthly contact options with prices based off of my insurance. I then met Dr. Azmina Momin, who I could immediately tell was extremely knowledgable and passionate about her job. She walked me through which contacts she thought were the best for my lifestyle. She asked me questions about which contacts I wore in the past, how often I wore them, how they felt, and even which contact solution I used. There always an opening on the schedule and Dr. Azmina is great, especially with the little ones. She's friendly fast and honest. I was a patient with Dr. Momin for 5 years, as was my husband. He's had A LOT of problems with his contacts, and she just chalked it up to him needing dailies. He ended up going for a second opinion with a different provider, and it turns out that the contacts she had him on weren't compatible with some eye problems he had. They were in turn making things worse for him! This was so disappointing, so I stopped going to her and went with a different provider. It turns out that the rx she had me on was too high! I thought I just have issues reading with my contacts because that's what happens when you wear contacts. My new provider told me it's because the rx was too high! She cranked it down, and that feels perfect to me. I feel cheated as I've spent $$ at this place, as has my husband. I don't think something like this would be intentional or deliberate, but it makes me question how she runs her practice. read more

Horrible experience trying to setup an appointment for a repeat patient. Can't imagine how they would treat new patients. They say they will call you back but never do. Takes 40+ minutes on the phone to setup an appointment. They cannot take more than 2 family members in a day. So if you want to go as a family have to go on multiple days. Absolutely love the fact that this is a small time place, where you are seen as a person; not just a $$$$ ! Dr. Momin is very thorough, she found a hole in the back of my daughter's eye ( the lining ) that another dr had missed. The staff is well trained on insurance issues and eager to assist. read more

To continue the above review about the defect, the manufacturer confirmed that it was a manufacturer defect within 2 days of delivery. Now, store doesn't carry that style of frame anymore. I believe the associate saw my review because she is courteous or super fake nice now. It is an improvement. Additionally, the doctor is great and honest. When I came in for my yearly, she recommended I wait because I was pregnant at the time. She saved me a co-pay. read more

My first experience at E2E was great; but once they get your business, their customer service suffers greatly. After seeing my regular optometrist, I came here to get my prescription filled. The doctor wanted to do an appointment to make sure that the prescription was correct. I got Gucci glasses and ordered contacts. Due to a back order, I did not receive my contacts for a while. They gave me samples to last until I got my glasses. However, when trying to get glasses fixed, they leave much to be desired. After spending over $500 on glasses, I would expect their staff to be courteous and to want to adjust or fix your glasses when you come in. Instead, my husband came in to get my glasses fixed and they gave him a lecture regarding eye glass care and grumbled while tightening a screw. Then, I experienced the same problem with the left side of my glasses, I attempted to go in on Saturday, September 26, 2015, but they were closed early at 12:00 p.m. I returned on Saturday, October 3, 2015. The experience is why I wanted to write this review. I waited in line patiently and let the customer service representative know I was there for eye glass repairs. She was hostile and condescending from the start about: 1) the warranty; 2) repairs; and 3) whether manufacturer defects existed. She has bleached hair. Warranty: The warranty is one (1) year. Therefore, my one (1) year warranty runs from when I received the glasses for a consecutive twelve (12) months. Despite this, the customer service associate told me that my warranty would be up in two (2) months. I did not receive my glasses until January 2015, which would mean my warranty runs from January 2015 to January 2016, not the date of purchase, because I did not receive them. Even if the date of purchase was the start date, I did not purchase my glasses until late December. Repairs: The customer service representative told me that they could not help me. When I showed her the gap between the left lens and my frame, she told me that they are supposed to be that way. Then, I showed her that the right lens did not have a gap between the frame. She huffed audibly. She then mentioned my warranty and said I had two (2) months until my warranty was up. That I would have to pay 35 or full price for the glasses. I believe this is a way to discourage them having to make repairs or having to help you. Then, when I mentioned that I had come in for the same problem but on the right side my glasses, she told me to take a seat. I asked to use the facilities and went to the ladies room. When I came out, she had my glasses and told me that the other associate, I do not remember her name, tightened the screw. She asked me to sit down at the glasses desk and when I accidentally sat on the wrong side, she rolled her eyes and told me to sit on the other side. Then, she told me to try my glasses on. I tried them and then, looked at them. The gap was still present but not as large. However, from tightening my screw, the associate had scratched my frames where the screw is located. More frustrating than the scratch was that the screw was still not in all the way and there was a gap between the ear piece and the frames on the left side but not the right side. Manufacturer defect: I told her the following: 1) the gap is still there; 2) the screw is not tightened all the way; and 3) you scratched my frames. She huffed again and said that is the best they could do and they could send them into the manufacturer but that I would probably have to pay full price for the glasses because it is not a manufacturer defect. I asked her how she could tell it was a manufacturer defect. I also did not verbalize but thought "last time I looked you are not an expert witness on manufacturer defect because you do not know the history of this model of glasses, the history in your computer or with the manufacturer or with other stores." In response to my question regarding the manufacturer defect, she huffed and went back in the repair room and tightened the screw. I would have preferred the older associate to help because she is gentle with glasses, courteous and not dismissive. However, this associate then returned with my glasses and I mentioned again that the screw was not tightened all the way. She said that was the best they could do. I then mentioned that the right ear piece was tight and wondered if they could loosen the screw or adjust it so that it was not so tight above my right ear. She then BENT my ear piece. I told her not to BEND my glasses and she said that is how they do it. [After leaving this store, I called other stores and they confirmed that they would never bend frames for any reason]. She then said her pitch regarding the warranty and got up and made sure I knew my glasses are $315 full price and I would probably have to pay that. She said they would call me to let me know if it will be $35 or $315 and it would be 6-8 weeks. read more

Horrible, stay away if you have insurance. My, wife needed to use her insurance credit for free eye glasses of $550 before it expired. Since, this optometrist was close to our home, she used her. Not, only did she max out the insurance portion she up sold her on designer frames (which were no name brand frames) and anti-glare for additional $130. So, the grand total was $680 for exam and a pair of glasses. We, have gotten comparable glasses with exam for $99 on special at other optometrist office before.. read more
