I am very disappointed in this business. First of all I will say everyone at today's vision is very nice ( at first ). My actual eye exam was good. I felt like the proper amount of time was taken to make sure the prescription was right. The problem came with my old glasses. The girl at the front offered to change out my nose pads on my old glasses because they were old and kind of dingy. So I went into the exam room and the doctor began the eye exam. The doctor brought my glasses in the room to check my prescription so i put them on and then she took them back to the girls in the front so they could finish changing the nose pads. They were having problems with the left nose pad or something. Now keep in mind I knew what my glasses looked like and what small scratches were on my lens or frames. Anyone who wears glasses knows this at all times. So I come up front after my exam and we were talking about new lens and prices when they hand me back my old glasses. My left lens didn't seem right. I had just watched her wipe my lens off and there seemed to be a smudge looking scuff on the bottom middle of my lens. I then felt the lens and I could feel a lump in my lens or indention of a circular fashion. So I looked at the lens again and you could see a swirl of some chemical on my lens. I showed it to the girls at the front and they had no clue supposedly. They both looked at each other like I don't know kind of thing. Now in my mind I kind of figured what happened is they girl must have sprayed something on my lens that made the lens weak to where when she pressed on my lens to put the new nose pad on she indented my lens. Now the other girl had the nerve to ask me if I had done that and I really wanted to lose my cool on her. The other girl took my glasses to the doctor to ask her something. Then came back and basically said i dont know it must have been like that, how could that happen. I am not strong enough to do that. So now I'm getting pissed because I am being lied to. So all of a sudden the doctor scurried out the door and I am stuck with the two girls who say I don't know. So I asked one of the girls can they get my new pair of glasses expedited seeing as they fubared my other pair. My answer was simply no. The insurance company controls how fast you get them. Well of that's the case why the hell do I get my glasses from eye trends in a week or less. Needless to say I am pissed. I understand accidents happen, but if you don't own up to your mistakes or at least try to fix them that's on you. This business sucks. I will never send anyone I know or meet in the future here. Eye doctor was pleasant . However, the rest of the experience reminded me of a car dealership. They kept trying to upsell me on everything...even offering discounts if I took them. One person lied to me and said the eye mask I needed (for dry eyes) was sold out everywhere online, which was obviously a lie. In addition, I asked if they had a lab there because I wanted to get my glasses that day, to which she said yes. Then of course AFTER I pay they tell me it'll be 2 weeks. Here I am sitting here two weeks later and I don't have my glasses... Only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because I really like the eye doctor. read more

If I could give it less stars I would. Horrible experience. I've taken my daughters there several times and the experience has gotten worse each time. The customer service is rude. They do extra exams on children without asking for adult consent and then charge you for it. I have walked out of there paying for all these unnecessary extras every time. I heard two customers with issues while I was in there so apparently I'm not the only one. I will never go there again. read more

I used to visit this location and was very happy with Dr. Dimple. But our recent visit to this place made us to rethink. The front office people are not up to the expectation. I felt like they are rude. Also; I had scheduled appointment with Dr Dimple Patel; but a different doctor attended my eye exam and very much dissatisfied with the eye exam. Too often we only report complaints, but my experience with Today's Vision, Dr. Arya and her entire staff was beyond great. This was not my first time to Dr. Patel and the first visit was great. Apparently the service and staff have hit an all time low. My glasses were sent back twice and took over a month to arrive. The bifocal is so small this time it it hard to make out anything. I took my son with me and they messed up his contact lens order, overcharging, and refusing to order the lenses that they gave samples for. I even ordered a three month supply. Save your time and money. You could get the same service from Sam's Club, Costco, or Walmart sorry to say. read more

Went to Today's Vision in Richmond for a routine checkup and found the staff and Dr. to be very pleasant and easy to deal with. The exam was quick and professional and resulted in MUCH better prescription than my previous one! I purchased 2 pair of glasses and the fit of the glasses and improvement in my eyesight due to the better prescription has made my life with glasses so much better and easier to deal with. I really liked this Doctor and office! Today I tried to set up an appointment and they have no openings on Saturdays until December and the latest appointment during the week is 4:30!! That is great for this office, not so much if you need to make an appointment! I need new glasses sooner rather than later!!!! I guess I will have to look for a new Doctor!!! read more

I took all three of my children for exams in July. One of my sons needed new lenses which we ordered that day. Almost three months later and we don't have his glasses. In the first month, we had little to no communication about the status but I wasn't worried too much as he really needed his glasses for school which hadn't started. We were then told that they had cut his lenses wrong. Waited more. Then we were asked to bring in his frames to put the lenses in but something went wrong there. Several weeks later, we were finally told that they were ready. My husband made his third trip there for this pair of glasses and this time was told that they had dispensed my son's glasses to "another 14 year old" with the same name as my child. Today I called and spoke to Sara (again) and was told that "the guy" was supposed to bring them back today and they'd give me a call. I asked if they would be checking the glasses out for any damage that may have occurred while my son's glasses were in someone else's possession and told that they would. It's not their fault that my son only has one pair of glasses but I did ask if they'd be willing to provide him a second set of glasses due to all of the inconvenience. Sara gave me the story all over again of what had happened. I told her that I understand all of that but in the sake of customer service, they should offer something to us for my son not having his glasses for almost three months. She did say that she'd have to speak with the owner and we could discuss it when we come to pick up the glasses. I will update when this is final. I really enjoy the doctor very much. When we first started going there, the front desk person was super nice and helpful. Since then there has been an older woman and then Sara who I have not found to be professional or communicating properly with customers. And if some of the problem is with their labs, then perhaps they should consider discussing these issues as unacceptable and damaging to their office's business and reputation. Dr. Arya, you're great. I truly hope that our situation was a bad, bad fluke. I will say that your staff does represent your office and having them keep up with timely communication would be of the essence when you're dealing with people's vision which is something we all use everyday. read more

Went here for my 10 year olds eye exam. She has astigmatism and needed glasses. I was told they'd be in within 10 business days but probably sooner, as they receive the kids shipments faster. A month later I still hadn't received them. I was calling every other day inquiring, every time I was told they had no eta. One time the lady Sara said she'd call and find out when they should expect them to arrive. SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I had to wait an additional 3 days after that before I called n was told they were there. Terrible service. read more
