I brought in a pair of glasses that I have owned and worn for over seven years for what I believed would be a routine cleaning. These glasses are very important to me because they fit my face perfectly and have remained in excellent condition throughout the years. After my glasses were taken for cleaning, Dr. Ghaith Al-Sowaidi returned them to me with a significant crack in one of the lenses. The crack covered approximately 30% of the lens and was not present when I brought the glasses into the store. Dr. Al-Sowaidi explained that there may have been some residue or substance on the lens that caused it to crack during the cleaning process. While I understand that accidents can happen, what was most disappointing was the lack of empathy, concern, or apology regarding the damage. The response I received was essentially that the glasses were old, made of plastic, and that these things happen. As a customer, I expected a higher level of professionalism, compassion, and accountability, especially from a company that has built its reputation on helping people care for their vision. Had my glasses already been damaged, I would have asked about repair or replacement options. Instead, I came in simply for a cleaning and left with a pair of glasses that had been damaged while in the care of Visionworks. My family and I have trusted Visionworks for our eyewear needs for years, and this experience was very disappointing. I was hoping for some acknowledgment of the situation, concern for the inconvenience caused, and a discussion regarding possible solutions. Unfortunately, none of that occurred. I am bringing this matter to your attention in hopes that it can be reviewed and that appropriate steps can be taken to address both the damage to my glasses and the customer service experience. I saw Dr. Patel for a remote glasses & contacts exam while Mr. Adam's was physically there to work the equipment & run test. She was also very knowledgeable and informative, communicating clearly without using a lot of medical terminology that could be confusing and without talking down to me. They both answered all of my questions throughly. I also ordered new lenses. The optical tech worked with me to figure out exactly what my insurance covered. I went back to pick up my glasses this past week. There was a different optical tech who fitted them on my face. She was also very kind & helpful asking me questions to help fit them perfectly. Since the visit went so well Ive already scheduled next year's appointment requesting to be with Dr. Patel again.

Don't get too comfortable because in my experience you won't be in it for long. I was promptly taken back where a detailed exam was performed on my eyes. The entire staff was super nice, very professional and highly skilled at what they do. I saw about 3 different technicians with each one doing a different part of my exam. Then the Dr came in and did his part of the exam and he spent a lot of time giving me options on glasses vs reading glasses only etc. I felt that this was a very good exam by a first class group of people. There is a huge difference in this and a typical walk in glasses dealer that makes it feel like you are at a fast food place. This is the opposite of that experience . I have been receiving a statement every month since then because the billing staff is not properly trained to bill Community Care or just does not care. I have been to there office two separate times trying to get this rectified. My last visit I was rudely told until this invoice is paid I will receive a statement. I have called community Care on two different occasions for information on how to properly bill for this invoice and both times I called Crowder Eye Center and relayed this information. Community Care also called their office and did not receive a call back. It is clear to me Crowder Eye Center has no respect for veterans and I am still being harassed every month with these statements. I do not recommend veterans seeking an eye exam to go there!

I Can See!!! After…read moredecades of wearing glasses and my old man eyes finally getting to the point of being absolutely done with buying glasses every year I decided to do something about it. I haven't known many people who have had eye surgery and I was slightly hesitant since they are my eyes after all. After reading the countless google reviews for Dr. Woolfson praising his work and the experience overall I decided it was time. I met first with Dr. Burns and some assistants and everyone was friendly and professional. I was super excited to get scheduled for a week or two later! Day of surgery I showed up with my eye drops and only a tiny bit of anxiety because again it's my eyes after all. The procedure really is only a couple minutes long. You don't really feel much other than a slight pressure and you see a bunch of lights. Once it's done it's hard to imagine why I waited so long to get it done! Tips: go home to a dark relaxing place so try all your eye drops right after surgery. An hour or so later your eyes want to rest and a nap is good. Eye drops are more important than you can imagine! After surgery you can already read! I haven't been able to read without glasses in decades! A week later you cannot believe you can read with no glasses, but distance is weird. A month later distance is now getting better and better. My eyes are so much better it's amazing. I mean literally amazing and such a change for my life! I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Woolfson and his associates!

I will say the procedure day was longer than I anticipated, but they even found me snacks to eat while I was still waiting. Dr. Woolfson was friendly and I was very impressed with the handwritten note I received after my procedure. Also I was planning on getting PRK before the day of the procedure and had already picked up my eye drop prescriptions for that procedure. Since that changed they saved me another trip to the pharmacy and gave me the other drops I needed.
