This place is one of the few to actually be thorough and prepared for their clients. They had all the information I had submitted in advance via their online forms. This is something most places fail at. The people, from start to finish, were absolutely wonderful. They are knowledgeable, professional, kind, and fun (yes, fun!) to visit with. They make sure all your questions are answered and you leave happy with every aspect of you visit. In addition to the wonderful people, there is also their wide variety of glasses to choose from. I was able to select three pairs of glasses--two of which were designer--with an array of lenses features (blue light, scratch guard, etc) for under $650 without vision insurance. This is great considering the last pair (just one pair) of designer glasses I had purchased elsewhere were over $550 and had issues. The location is clean, pleasant, and easily accessible. This is definitely a location I felt very comfortable visiting. I have walked into other locations and not gotten the most welcoming feeling but the Hixson location is a rather different story altogether. Definitely my new go-to place and location for all my glasses and contacts.

We were assisted by a very kind man whose name is Duane. He assessed the glasses and was able to take the stems off of another pair of frames and replaced not only the broken one but the other one as well so that they matched. We didn't have to wait at all and he was able to repair them in a very short amount of time. The cost was only $20. I can't tell you how friendly and accommodating Duane was. I Can See!!! After…read moredecades of wearing glasses and my old man eyes finally getting to the point of being absolutely done with buying glasses every year I decided to do something about it. I haven't known many people who have had eye surgery and I was slightly hesitant since they are my eyes after all. After reading the countless google reviews for Dr. Woolfson praising his work and the experience overall I decided it was time. I met first with Dr. Burns and some assistants and everyone was friendly and professional. I was super excited to get scheduled for a week or two later! Day of surgery I showed up with my eye drops and only a tiny bit of anxiety because again it's my eyes after all. The procedure really is only a couple minutes long. You don't really feel much other than a slight pressure and you see a bunch of lights. Once it's done it's hard to imagine why I waited so long to get it done! Tips: go home to a dark relaxing place so try all your eye drops right after surgery. An hour or so later your eyes want to rest and a nap is good. Eye drops are more important than you can imagine! After surgery you can already read! I haven't been able to read without glasses in decades! A week later you cannot believe you can read with no glasses, but distance is weird. A month later distance is now getting better and better. My eyes are so much better it's amazing. I mean literally amazing and such a change for my life! I definitely recommend seeing Dr. Woolfson and his associates!

I will say the procedure day was longer than I anticipated, but they even found me snacks to eat while I was still waiting. Dr. Woolfson was friendly and I was very impressed with the handwritten note I received after my procedure. Also I was planning on getting PRK before the day of the procedure and had already picked up my eye drop prescriptions for that procedure. Since that changed they saved me another trip to the pharmacy and gave me the other drops I needed. Definitely would recommend if you're tired of wearing glasses or contacts and want a great place to do it!!

They got a new doctor recently to replace the old eye doctor that used to be here. i got a bad…read morevibe from him, he didn't do anything bold or touch me in a way that was violating however i felt he touched me more than necessary, ie held my hands, touching my face a lot. I would just look out/be aware for that if you go here. Just intuition, but wanted to give a heads up if I'm right, stay safe y'all! (The rest of the staff I like though and are really nice/caring)

The day before they called and cancelled it, rescheduled over a month later. Right before that appointment, they called again to cancel it. In the meantime my daughter has suffered and could have seen a physican for relief but right now we are back to square one. Do not waste your time with this practice!
