I made appointment on the weekend for the Tuesday of the next week, got all the appointment confirmation texts, read all, checked if I need to click on anything to confirm - nothing, appointment was confirmed, got reminder at 6 am even about 8 am appointment. Moved my schedule and schedule for the day for my husband to take kids to school (causing him to attend work meetings from the car while driving kids to school), showed up at my time (8 am), waited for 30 minutes (as if I have no work to attend to that day at all) and turns out they cancelled my appointment for no reason! I have busy work schedule and busy life schedule with kids in it. I have no time for someone to cancel my appointments just because they are lazy to show up at work. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I have had no issues with my eyes and lids ever! This is why I always hesitate to book services like this because I have no way of knowing if everything was sterilized. I guess not! As far as the lash lift? Well, they looked so bad I couldn't believe it! Lashes were pointing left and right not a perfect directed lash like you see in pictures. One lash was actually sticking right into my eyeball. I kept feeling a scratchy something so I got out my magnifying mirror and it was going under towards my eye. I had to cut it to get relief. My lashes were sparse in one eye and there wasn't really enough to perm. She should have said that I wouldn't get a good result and turn me away. So, I've paid her and the doctor and it's still not gone! Tip: when the first thing they ask you is "have you ever had a lash lift before?" Run because that says you may not know a good job from a bad one.

Part of my foundational understanding of higher quality services is largely in part because of Vera. It's the little things you don't realize because you have it good from the start. It wasn't until I moved to the Bay Area that I experienced itchiness, clumps, painful pulling, rashes, uneven eyes, and more. I also didn't realize how lightly she maneuvers until another tech rested the whole weight of her body on my eyeball to stabilize herself. It felt like my eyes were being pushed into my brain. The list goes on and on. I no longer fall into the trap of extremely hot girls batting their lashes for local lash studios with neon lights and moss walls. Cute, yes. Good work, not usually. Spoken from actual experience. Even with a now 45 minute commute, I see Vera every 3-4 weeks or so because I take great care of them. I still recommend Vera.

She was extremely professional and sweet. Here's the but, and it's a BIG BUT. Giggity. Within a day of the session, the lashes on the left was falling out. NOTICEABLY FALL falling out. I contacted her via the email on the card she had because I was traveling for work and assumed I could just respond on my phone. NO RESPONSE from ANYONE. I emailed on the 18th and the 19th and still no response. I even gave her my number to call. I figured it was the end of the week and she'd get back to me. It's May 31 and STILL no email. I attached the email and the same pics I sent them to see the difference between the left and the right eyes. It was such a positive experience until now. The level of professionalism is utmost disgusting.
