Despy is the ABSOLUTE best of the best! Do not go anywhere else! Despi is absolutely wonderful! I was a bit nervous and unsure of what I was getting into for my first ever lash session. She walked me through the whole process and was so friendly and calming that I quickly eased into the process. It feels a little odd at first with your lashes taped down, but you soon get used to it. Despi is seriously the BEST. I am so lucky I found her! She has a huge selection of lashes and can do any style you like, my personal fave is the cat eye. So sexy and my fiance loves it!! She is much more knowledeable than other lash technicians and has a lot of experience and training. She also uses superier products and glue so my eyes don't get irritated. She is a total perfectionist to say the least, so I always leave looking completely flawless. Not only that, but my lashes stay on for sooooooooo long!!!!!!!!! I recently moved to New York and unfortunately cannot find anyone of her caliber out here. Lucky for me I make quite a few trips back to LA and I make sure to see her every time. When I lived in LA I went about every 5 weeks and my lashes always looked amazing. Now I only see her every few months :( but my lashes still stay on pretty well for 6-8 weeks. That is how good she is!! Her salon is clean, very private and decorated so cute and girly! She tucks you in nice and comfy on the table (similar to a massage table) and it's even heated so in the winter you stay nice and cozy. She plays relaxing music and is great at picking up on your mood. She could always tell when I was tired and didn't want to be talkative and she would let me lie there quietly and relax. Or if I was feeling chatty we always had lots to talk about and the time would fly by. The whole process takes about two hours and is much more relaxing than you would think. You basically just lie there with your eyes closed and enjoy. Remember when you go to take out your contacts! I forgot a couple times and she gave me a new, unused lens case to keep them in. The first time I went she was sure to explain everything as she went so that I understood every step. I really appreciated that since when you are lying on a table with your eyes closed for two hours with a stranger, it can be a little scary! lol! She made me feel completely comfortable and she is a total sweetheart! I've referred several friends to her and they've become addicted and love her as much as I do. She is capable of creating very different looks depending on what you want. She is also a very good listener and will adjust the lashes to suit your need.
