I was worried it would not come out well because I've had really bad experiences with getting my hair cut (see previous review of Fringe), but this place went above and beyond. I got the exact cut I wanted and the color is spot-on. Apparently this salon is pretty new (only open for a few months). But if you're considering coming here - do it. You won't regret it. Isis spent A LOT of time on my cut and color (almost 3.5 hours) and it only cost $85!! Amazing. Even with the $20 tip, that's still significantly less than most places in D.C. would charge. She was thorough, very nice, and continually asked me if I was okay (is the water too warm or cold when shampooing? How long would you like the side-sweep? Do you want some water?). It's rare to find this level of professionalism, courtesy, and talent with such a reasonable price tag. Especially in the D.C. area.
